Kenmaure is a completely renovated 2 bedrooom family home which comfortably accommodates 7 persons From all windows you enjoy wonderful views of the beach,ocean and surrounding trees and colourful feathered friends as well as numerous Koalas. You can relax under the covered verandah on comfy lounges with a book or watch the waves roll in. This fully insulated house with double glazed windows allows you to indulge yourself in front of the wood heater even on non-beach days. Kenmaure is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach, Pub , General store and Cafe You can even dine al fresco on the patio or feed the birds when they visit. The property is suitable for children . The property is pet friendly BEDROOMS Bedroom 1- 1 Queensized Bed. Bedroom 2- 1 Queensized Bed, 1 Bunk Bed(sleeps 2) RENTAL RATES effective 1st January 2019 Minimum Rental is 2 nights INCLUDES Bed linen,sheets,towels and tea towels Off Peak ( June- November) Weekends- Fri and Sat nights $540 Week nights-2 nights $480 Holiday Long Weekends- $870 Easter -$1160 Melbourne Cup - $1160 Full week Summer holidays- minimum 7 nights-$2730 All rates are based on a maximum of 4 persons. Our family weekend away to catch up with friends was made all the better for staying here. Location is great with delightful sea views, the house is well presented with everything you need. The added bonus of being able to have our dog with us too was amazing. Thank you we hope to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay, and were in daily awe of the view. The cottage is very conveniently situated, and you cannot move past the sound of the ocean and bird-life to rejuvenate the soul. Thank you Maureen for a lovely stay!!

We loved our stay at Kenmaure. Beautiful views. Authentic shack style from the past. Loved the photos on the walls from yesteryear. Suitable for the dogs we had with us. Lovely walks and close to everything :)

We stayed at Ken and Maureen's house for a long weekend with our two dogs and loved it. The house has been in Ken's family for 70 years and retains that basic, beach house vibe, but has been updated to be comfortable and cozy. It was a cold, wet weekend and the wood fire kept the whole house warm and it was great to hear the rain on the roof - we didn't use the outdoor spaces. The house overlooks the beach and is a short walk to the beach, shop and pub, and a less easy walk back up the hill, but most of Wye River is steep so that should be expected. Wye River was busy with families with young children and the beach is safe for swimming. Overall, we had a great weekend away.

This is a great house for a family of four. Very comfortable and with a terrific view of the beach. Close to everything. Well stocked with cooking gear and all the essentials and the Wye shop has everything you need. We had a lovely stay and host was very responsive.

We felt at home at kenmaure. It’s compact but we’ll designed has everything we needed and beautiful views. The gate set up for our dog was great. Beds were comfortable too. Lovely family memories made here.

We loved Kenmaure. It was great to be able to take our dogs. It was cosy and unpretentious, has a wonderful ocean view, particularly from the dining table, and has everything you need for a holiday away.

We had a great time in Wye river and the property was setup perfectly for us travelling with kids and dog. Backyard with totem tennis a bonus and well kitted out for dogs. Loved our time here.

Fabulously situated home with amazing views of the Wye River beach. Just a short walk to the beach, shops and cafe. So lovely to sit on the front veranda and look at the ocean. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and wood fire with wood provided. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you Maureen for our stay in wonderful Wye River. We literally parked the car and walked/bike rode the hills of Wye exploring the numerous lookout vantage points. Enjoyed local hospitality at the café & pub, then home to a cozy wood fire and a glass of wine. Our stay was just what we needed!!

The place is dated and basic but was clean and in a great location. The steps up to the property made unpacking and packing the car an effort so be aware if you have heavy suitcases or have people unsteady on feet. The backyard is not fully fenced for pets. We had everything we needed for cooking. Plenty of blankets and electric blankets on the bed. We were warm and cosy.
