About this house rental
Nestled in The Villages, this lovely house for $209 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Rent this fully furnished, "Off the Beaten Path" country cottage for 3 nights or rent it for an entire season in sunny Florida. An abundance of song birds inhabit this beautiful country property on 1.5 acres. Peaceful setting with enormous shade trees. A farm occupies the property to the rear and dense vegetation surrounds. You may forget you're just minutes away from free nightly entertainment in Paddock Square at The Village Square of Brownwood. It's also a great place to ride bikes with clearly marked bike lanes on CR462 which connects you to the town of Wildwood and to The Villages (The Villages has over a 100 miles of bike/golf cart trails). Plenty of parking for those coming through with a RV , boats, or trailer in tow. Guest have access to all rooms of the house and are encourage to explore the 1.59 acre yard. The only areas not available is the 16X28 well house, sheds, enclosed trailers, boats, and RV which are locked. Our home is equipped with a "Ring" Door bell that will allow you to contact us at any time. Just ring the doorbell and we will be able to greet you and answer any questions you may have. There is a keypad on the front door for easy check in. A welcome binder will inform you of local attractions and bargains to be had. TRAVEL INFO Shopping and dining 1.9 miles Paddock Square 3.2 miles Lake Miona 3.2 miles Sumter Landing 5.2 miles Gator World 7.4 miles Disney and Universal Studios are both just an hour away.

My large group was comfortable and really enjoyed themselves! They played horseshoes and grilled out at night. It was very close to all the essentials. We look forward to renting again in the fall!

Wonderful location
My family and i stayed here whilst in the US for a family wedding. The house was amazing, beautifully decorated and stocked with all the essentials and more. Eddie and Tina were helpful and easy to contact. When the dryer stopped working, they arranged for a new one to be delivered the next day. Would recommend to family and friends.

The house is perfect for family my wife and I we are to old for a big house like that we did not know we have to clean the house floor and everything we have a maid at home we just want stay country side but I recommend this house for a family not for older thank you we enjoy our stay

Loved our stay at the home. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Kitchen is stocked with essentials for basic cooking. Our young daughter loved the yard and swing. The hosts checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed. Hope to stay again in the future!

This property worked great for our family! We were only 10 min from my parents in the villages & everything was clean & wonderful. We especially enjoyed the outdoor games! Would highly recommend & will stay again!

Wonderful 3 week stay in Wildwood. The Country Porch was perfect for us. The hosts were very accommodating when needed. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Plenty of space, including two porches for drinking coffee and listening to wildlife.
We already booked the Country Porch for another stay.

We were in town for a fishing tournament and we’re worried about parking but the home owners were awesome about letting us park wherever in the back yard.

Family funeral visit
This property and the owners were perfect, the place was cleaned and had all the amenities we needed for a family of 5. They were available if needed but was respectful for our space. Property is gorgeous enjoyed sitting on porch at night with my tea and the adult children enjoying the lizards at night. Thank you Tina and Eddie

We enjoyed the porches - front and rear very much especially during the thunderstorms. Some of the storms were very strong depositing multiple inches of rain in a few hours along with heavy gusts right before the tropical storm arrived. But the house held up very well! Highly recommended. Thank you Tina and Eddie for hosting us at your lovely country home.

The country porch offered us a beautiful and quiet while also spacious accommodation for our family to stay for the week. A short drive to amenities like banks, grocery stores, churches, while also being out in the country. The house itself was spacious and very clean, with an abundance of linens and towels to use. We enjoyed the porches - front and rear very much especially during the thunderstorms. Beautiful Home & Property!
My family of 5 spent 4 nights here, and enjoyed every moment! The house is beautiful and the bedrooms & beds were very comfortable! They have thought of just about everything to make your stay a great one! The kitchen has a lot of utensils, dishes, mixing bowls, and a variety of pots and pans for cooking/baking, as well as a lot of spices, dry goods & condiments. There was a cabinet of board games, as well as outdoor activities like horseshoes, mini golf set, darts, etc., and even better; the yard is huge!! The owners checked in with us to make sure that we had everything we needed, and knowing we could contact them at anytime via the Ring doorbell or by phone was nice as well. We enjoyed a lot of our time relaxing in the rocking chairs on the front porch, drinking our coffee and watching all of the different birds stop by the feeders to eat. We were here at the beginning of June and the days were very warm, but even at the hottest part of the day we were able to sit on the porch and feel the breeze and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature 😁 You will feel like you are in the middle of the countryside, all while being just a few minutes away from stores & restaurants. We would definitely highly recommend this house to anyone who will be travelling to this area!

Great place in a rural setting but close to the Villages.
Our family of 5 recently stayed at The Country Porch for a visit with my parents who live in the Villages. It was our first VRBO rental, and it was great. Very clean. Well stocked with all that you need, including condiments. Was just a short drive to my parents, and also food stores and restaurants. The owners were actually on site during our stay and they were so friendly. My only regret is not having more down time to just spend there in the spacious yard, which had horseshoes, lawn darts, golf clubs, rocking chairs and more. It is in a rural quiet area. Overall great stay and my parents are recommending it to any family or friends that plan to visit in the future.

Charming and peaceful
We loved it!!!! The house is very cozy, with comfortable beds, nice space in the dining room and kitchen. We loved sitting on the porch, just enjoying nature. The screened patio is a perfect place to read. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the spacious backyard. The street is very calm with occasional cars driving by and beautiful trees with Spanish moss.

Perfect We needed this
We all love to travel but there are times when you need to get away. The Front Porch was the perfect solution for us. Clean quiet, tranquil with a down home country welcome feel. Lots of room inside and out. Barbecuing on the charcoal grill and relaxing around the Camp Fire in the evening was amazing. About an hour to the Gulf, the ocean, or the Disney complex in Orlando made options almost limitless. I could go on but I think you get the idea. This place is a 10.
