Flamingo Cottage is an original 1939 vintage beach cottage that I just love! It has a unique charm all of its own that takes you back to the simpler things in life- good company, good food and a good place to rest and unwind, while all the time having the beautiful Gulf of Mexico right on your doorstep. Flamingo Cottage is close to the famous Caddy's, as well as the Ka Tiki Bar, so the beach, nightlife, and family-friendly activities are just steps away. Flamingo Cottage has everything (except your own personal basics) that you will need to enjoy your stay. You can access the whole house, including the garage. There is even a barbecue for you to grill your steaks on. The cottage has a high tech, monitored security system, so you can enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that you are extra safe. There are plenty of restaurants, a 711 and even a micro-brewery within easy walking distance. A large Publix is just a quick drive away and St Petersburg, with its great art scene, waterfront and wonderful museums is an easy 10 minute drive away. Tampa is just 30 minutes away and the thrills of Orlando's theme parks just a 90minute drive. With all the basics (and a few extras!) at your doorstep, you can park the car and enjoy a quieter lifestyle as most things are within walking distance. There is public transport close as well.
