Nestled in Second Valley, this charming house for $236 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This is the kind of place that you can walk into with some sand on your feet from the beach and not freak out, because it's a beach house for families. It's a place for you to enjoy, to relax, to feel like you're at home. Only 400m from the beach there is a playground nearby, convenience store, jetty, fishing, shopping and places to explore. We have room for 7 people with one King Size, one Queen, a double bed and single bed. EV charger onsite Reverse cycle air-conditioning in all bedrooms (heating & cooling) Slow combustion heater (BYO wood) Ceiling fans. Well equipped kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Outdoor deck BBQ Tea & Coffee facilities. Plenty of books, free wifi and Netflix Fully fenced for pets. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING Linen (Sheets & Pillow Covers - King, Queen, Double & Single) Towels (Bathroom & Beach) Tea Towels (Kitchen) Wood for Slow Combustion Heater (if you want) CLEANING We don't charge extra for cleaning, we pay for this ourselves, so please be respectful and tidy up after yourself. Everything you need to leave the house the way you found it is onsite for your convenience. If our cleaning team finds a disaster area after your stay, you may not be invited back. Second Valley Located 91KM's South of Adelaide, Second Valley is divided into two parts - the old mill on the main road and down the Valley to the sea, a tiny coastal port reminiscent of a Cornish fishing village. Second Valley is ideal as a Kangaroo Island stopver only 15 minutes drive from the ferry or 20 minutes from Deep Creek conservation Park with its spectacular secnery and bushwalks. A short drive to several stunning golf courses and there is plenty more to see and do. Things to do? If you're into snorkeling, there are rock pools with fish and other sea creatures to discover including the famous leafy sea dragon. If you like fishing, why not try for squid or garfish on the historic Second Valley built in the 1800's otherwise the brand new jetty at Rapid Bay is only 10 minutes away where the snapper might be biting. In summer the secluded beach is fantastic for families and offers crystal clear water and a safe and friendly environment for the kids to play.

We love this cosy shack! It has everything you need and more! Comfy beds, great shower, lots to do even on the wet days under the terrace. We just love it coming to Randalsea and can’t wait to stay again. Thanks Kalinda, you are always such a pleasure to deal with on all levels. 👌

Great place for a family holiday. A very comfortable house, with a beautiful outlook. Has all the things you need, but it's not so fancy that you're worried about your kids destroying the place! Lots of thoughtful touches too - like a well provisioned kitchen, extra snorkels, a night light in the corridor, and just so many books! We loved it.

The house was very nice and well set up. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. It was great to have a dishwasher and be able to sit outdoors under the veranda for meals. Only a short walk to the beach. My children and I really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful nice cozy house, books, games, lovely crystal glasses, good wifi, comfortable furniture , pretty pictures on the walls, large windows with natural light and blinds that open all the way. Quiet with only lovely magpies making music. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

Comfortable and quiet holiday house. The property owner was very quick to respond to any questions prior to and during our stay. Beach only a short walk down the road. Would like to come back again.

We stayed for the October long weekend, 2 generations of family and dogs. Yard is secured and easy for the furry ones to explore in safety. We loved the deck and the barbecue was very welcome for cooking outside with the beautiful weather. Beds were very comfortable and overall was great accomodation and an easy walk to the beach. Loved it

My son & I were very impressed, was like a home away from home. Facilities / fitout - everything you could possibly need. Only 2 negatives, the ceiling fans need dusting & the leather lounge needs a decent clean. Overall, 9/10.

Very comfortable overnight stay. A small portable table to put drink on whilst in the lounge would be a minor improvement and reminder to bring bath mat! but seriously was a wonderful get away. Location was great and had a gorgeous evening walk, thanks also for ability to have 1 nighter.

Kalinda's holiday house is SO good. It's comfy, well appointed, warm and in a great location. It was perfect for our family get together. Kalinda is very generous and shows great trust in not charging a cleaning fee. We were very happy to respect that trust and ensured the house was clean when we left. We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was well equipped, comfortable, clean and accommodated us and our dogs too. The location was only a short stroll down to the water ans exactly what we were after. We are looking to book our next trip here later in the year!

The house is nicely nestled away tree lined fences. All you can hear at night is the odd bird and cow. On quieter night's you can hear the waves whisper in.

We had a lovely stay at Second Valley. The property is moments walk from the beach and the general store that has all the essentials. The house is spacious with all the amenities you need. Kitchen is well equipped. We loved the cubby house and swing out the back. Bring mosquito repellant.

Just loved our stay at Randalsea. So comfy, it felt well loved and homey. Excellent supply of glasses, plates, cutlery etc. sharp knives a little blunt though. Really appreciated the Wifi and TV to watch some AO tennis. Very comfy beds. Only thing would have appreciated outdoor hose for wash down after diving and snorkelling.

We loved our stay in Second Valley. The house was walking distance to the local kiosk and beach. Walking the hills, fishing on the jetty, swimming at the beach and chilling out back at Randalsea was so relaxing. We will be back to stay for longer next time. Very nice property. Loved the paintings and facilities are good. Couldnt find my small dog for a couple of hours and he was stuck in corner of yard in overgrowth. Had to get over fence to get to him so bushes need cutting back.

Loved my stay here, in a great location! super close to the beach, just a 5 min walk. Just keep in mind when staying, there is very little of the bare essentials such as paper towel, salt & pepper, hand soap and tea towels so remember to bring literally everything along with you! Other than that, a great stay in a nice beach house!!

Overall, it was a good experience. House was clean and all of the kitchen utensils were provided. Just one little suggestion to the owners - more board games for kids. But highly recommended
