Great place to spend a few days and take in the local sights.

Easy secure parking. Quiet at night. Good shower and view of the mountain. Would have liked to stay another night.

Aircon is positioned next to the bed so it blows directly onto you. Only one cooktop making it awkward to prepare meals.

Nothing "luxe" about this very basic apartment

Ground floor apartment that felt secure. Small double bed was comfortable. Bottled water on arrival.

Overall very disappointing. Sofa bed bedding not in the room and very uncomfortable. WiFi didn't really work efficiently. Very dated/cheap decor and bathroom and kitchen felt grubby. Parking was very tight and dependent on other guests. Location is only suitable if driving a car. Hot tub wasn't clean.

Overall the location was perfect to stay and visit and do all the things we wanted to do in La Morne

The host was so communicative on whatsapp and this platform. Everything you want or need to know is so easily responded to. Getting access was super easy super safe and it all felt very fluid. I needed extra towels and an iron etc and this was all accommodated for. We didn’t use the rooftop jacuzzi but it has amazing views! The onlyyyyyy downfall was the dogs barking all night. Of course you get used to it and it’s natural in countries with stray dogs nothing abnormal it’s just loud when you begin to sleep.

Exceptional

It was a very nice appartement, clean, with a kitchen and a shared yacuzzi on top of the building. The room was cleaned almost every day. We also liked the region Le Morne Brabant. We were snorkeling a lot there. It was our favourite spot.

Excellent stay

Very nice and extremely clean appartement with little kitchen and a balcony. It has has air conditioning. The building and the parking are secured. Rajesh and Priscilla, the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are in a nice and calm location. The jacuzzi is available in the terrace with a nice view. Definitely value for money and highly recommended.

Not about the proper but there are not many restaurants in walking distance (mostly ~5’ by car)

Very good

Place is affordable, apartment is really close to Le Morne. Kitchen equipment is nice and balcony is perfect. Parking lot is behind the gate in safe. The owner has helped us to rent a car.

Highlihts didn’t work - jacuzzi and nor coffee machine. We wanted to have an early check-in which they allow (it says nonstop) but our room wasn’t ready when we came in.

Great view, very good equipped kitchen, good own WiFi in the room, rooftop view is nice, spacious room, parking behind gate, quiet area

far from groceries, beach etc if you don’t have a car (or want to take the bus), maybe add WiFi on rooftop, rooftop pool was getting fixed during my stay but all good

Superb

Complete appartment in a quiet area of la gaulette with great view from the big roof terrace. Very good location to explorer the south. Easy en quick communication with host via WhatsApp (there were not there but it is an easy, flexible checkin via codes). Comfortabel bed. Big supermarket at 1,5km for selfcatering, some restaurants and some smaller shops closer. Fair in price, so recommended. Best if you have a car!

Nothing. Unfortunately the whirlpool was too cold for us during the days in september but thats nothing the owners can change:-).

hosts were really nice and was lovely to meet them beds were comfy. room was spacious and clean. bathroom and kitchenette also. it was great for us. can't fault it :)

Cheap, simple and friendly

Friendly host, clean, nice view over Le Morne. Gave us good advise on swimming with dolphins ( Dolphin warrior organisation is the neighbour).

A lot of barking dogs at night. The bed was ok but the sleeping couches were terrible. We only stayed for 2 nights because of climbing Le Morne and swimming with dolphins.

Quiet chill space for full on kiting focus

15 min drive from the kite spots, 3 minutes from the supermarket. Quiet neighborhood with amazing birds all around and beautiful sunset views. Comfortable bed, spacious room, nice balcony and gorgeous terrace. Would definitely stay here again.

Internet repeaters were inconsistent throughout the house, and the speed was unsuitable to work. Conf calls were blurred and delayed. For the free time, would be nice to have wifi also on the gorgeous terrace, perhaps repeaters setup close to some of the windows or balconies. Kitchen didn't have any supplies, so had to buy everything, from salt to oil to coffee. Just a small touch but would make a world of difference. Nothing major!

big apartment, small terrace, jacuzzi at the roof top for all guess, very friendly hosts, can rent kayak &e-bikes, I felt very safe at this place, secure parking only for guests infront of house, perfect to start tour to le Morne, room cleaning everyday,

restaurants and shops a bit to walk 10-15min

Great Host. Great Place

Such a nice Host. He was so kind and always in touch with us via Whatsapp . If we needes something he helped right away. Even in the Cyclon he helped us with Food and Water. I would defnitly recommend staying there !

Perfect holidays: kite trip & Full month book

Rajesh and his wife are very profesional, I stayed on the luxe exotica during 1 month an I can say after that's apartment was the best choice if you plan to do kitesurf, surf, trekking or just visit black river. they will help you to find whatever you need, they sent you a whats before the arrival! the apartment has all necessary for life, is quiet and has econ then don't worry about nothing! from the top on the jacuzzi you will have spectacular views of le morne, la gaulette the lagoon... just incredible!! for me there is no doubt if I need to book again they will be my first option!

parking area is limited because the last day come three cars for one room in the hotel and is a little tight to put our car in.

Exceptional

Very friendly, helpful, honest and polite owners. Do not live on site but availible whenever you need assistance.

Transport is needed to get around area. There are local buses by apartment.

Good appartment to stay, car needed.

Private parking space inside. The cleaning lady was very neat and tidied the appartment every day. We got clean towels and sheets every other day.

The Jacuzzi on top the roof was not usable since it obviously didnt get cleaned regularly. We had 'room1' which was right next to the entrance and was kind of noisy in terms of the whole appartment has thin walls and we heard the front door slam every time it was opened and shut. The appartment itself was very basic.

Second time here, a new holiday adventure

This will be our place to stay everytime we will return to Mauritius. And this was the second time. Everything you need in one place, car rental, trips around, airport pickup, only let them now what you need before your arrival. Hope to see you soon Rajesh and Priscilla :)

Fabulous

Very nice owners, helpful, gave us lots of useful advice, recommended good rent a car and dolphin trip company... apartment had everything needed and was really clean! Great view from the balcony!

There’s no beach nearby, you need a car to get to the closest le Morne beach
