Location of the hotel, resort and beach is exceptional; it really feels like a special place. The rooms are very big. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner buffet were very good. Big plus the fact that you have free access to multiple activities (e.g., nautical, sport etc)
The rooms need to be a bit updated. Also, there was a really bad smell in the bathroom (wc) and no spray/refeeshner available.

1. Location and facilities are amazing. Very few in La Morne/South Mauritius can compare.
2. They did give us a late checkout (5pm) since we reached only at 9pm on the 1st day.
1. Housekeeping is non-existent. So called free water and try towels never arrived. Buggys are the same. You never get it
2. Fully aware we had an infant/child needing an addition mattress the same wasn't readied before our arrival
3. Staff are lucky they don't work for an international operator. Seems like how not to please customers is the motto.
4. Getting a table outside the buffet is like winning the lottery and almost seems like they are doing the guests a favour
5. No coffee shop - kids wanted desert and solution was to have the buffet !
6. Breakfast spread was great but not one staff walked over to offer coffee or anything

Excellent place for visiting the south of the island and for all water sports from stand up paddle, dinghy boat, ski to kite surf and surf. lovely food and nice staff.
In some of the rooms, the water comes in glass bottles which is great but difficult to move around with. While other rooms have bio bottles - light and good for all day moving with.

All sunbeds were reserved with very often nobody on them. You have to start what other do and say that if nobody is showing up for an hour you take the towels away. Also , a proper coffee in the room or at least milk instead of disgusting whitener would be good.

Beach is best on the island. Room is perfect, fresh and new. Resort is very big and you can find many activities never to get bored. Maintanance is superb and everything in resort looks that they are realy giving it attention. Food in the main restaurant have a lot of varieties and specialy sea food night.
During breakfast sometimes looked way overcrowded in the main restaurant.

An excellent hotel right on the beach with its own golf course. Spacious rooms with a large bathroom and huge terrace. Stunning sunsets and views of La Morne mountain. Three excellent a-la-carte restaurants plus a buffet restaurant plus access to three other restaurants at the hotel next door. Great snorkelling and water sports facilities. Friendly staff that made us feel very welcome.
There were a lot of dishes at the a-la-carte restaurants that were not included in our half board package and the credit given towards these dishes was derisory.

We loved how the resort and the golf course stretches out, allowing nice long walks on the shore. Watersports team is excellent, a plethora of colorful fish are visible by snorkelling or in the glass-bottomed boat - all for free. Blue Marlin restaurant was our favourite for its heavenly indulging fine dining accompanied by attentive service. Thank you Mr. J. Dhondee and the great Blue Marlin team! Bistro Restaurant at Dinarobin also excelled with outstanding food and service.
If we could spend there more time...

Spacious room and bathroom size. Views from the rooms is beautiful. Buffet is excellent, especially the Sunday seafood dinner buffet was amazing. The private beach is never crowded. The shallow beautiful sea along the private beach is really wonderful. Unlimited water sports on tap is great.
Too many mosquitos. It took us about an hour to kill about 30-40 mosquitos in two rooms. We started joking it is the complementary sport added on to the hotel list.LOL.

I liked that the resort was full of activities. They also allowed early check in and late check out because we had a night flight. The people in the resort really made the experience extraordinary. Shoutout and big thanks to the excellent hospitality and service of Sheik and Stephano (reception); Manoj, Laval, Vanessa, Natacha (blue marlin); Hanshinee, Esperance (massage and spa); William, Jean Paul, Andy, Shailesh (la palma dinner) and Mary J (housekeeping).
I wished the villa was nearer to the sea as I imagined but it was farther away. I think the villa was also sort of old.
