An absolute gem of a hotel

Everything, 2nd time here. This hotel is an absolute gem. Having stayed all over Sri Lanka this is by far the best I stayed in for consistently being good. Beds are comfortable, pillows great, staff lovely, and a very modern clean hotel.

יש הסעות שכלולות במחיר. נחתנו ב2:00 בלילה והנהג חיכה לנו והסיע אותנו למלון. זה היה מאוד נוח ורק בגלל זה שווה לקחת את המלון. מתאים למי שנוחת/ממריא באותו יום

A good location with airport transportation.

The hotel facility itself is excellent; good food, helpful staff, and a comfortable room. The free shuttle to the airport was appreciated. They have an elevator which helps move the luggage. The top floor bar area has tables and shade where a person can relax and catch any breeze available.

The neighborhood has little to offer, even though it is near to the beach. We suffered mosquito bites while eating dinner (outdoors). nearby is a stagnant canal and a gutter with standing water where the insects can breed.

Great for a couple of nights. Near to airport.

This stylish, immaculate and comfortable hotel was great for a stop-over before our tour of Sri-Lanka. The staff and service was excellent and the small swimming pool very welcome after a hot day. The hotel provides a very good breakfast and a reasonable restaurant menu. The Sri-Lankan curry dishes are tasty, if a little salty to our taste. There is also a good choice of restaurants 5 minutes (busy road) walk away on the main coast road. The hotel itself is tucked away down a quiet street so no traffic disturbance. The airport taxi service is a bonus.

The local area is busy and noisy. Having said that this lovely small hotel is tucked away down a quiet side street.

Cannot recommend enough

The hotel is small, quiet with really friendly staff and a lovely pool area. The hotel rooms are really comfortable with everything you’d need, showers are hot with great pressure. The collection from the airport was great and worked seamlessly. The breakfast was amazing each morning. Short walk to the beach and restaurants/bars but far enough away for a quiet sleep. We even went back for a second night after our plans changed.

Small pool area perfect for a dip after a day out but not much space if you planned to spend the day at the hotel would be the only thing worth mentioning.

A Warm Welcome to Sri Lanka ~ Friendly Staff, Comfortable Pleasing Accommodation...

Very accommodating with any pre arrival queries ~ kindly arranged Driver to meet me off an early morning flight ~ a warm welcome, proficient and courteous greeting on reaching the Hotel, and escorting me to my room...

It would be undeserving of Belmont to be critical in any way ~ the whole experience Exemplary, and I will certainly book accommodation there again...

Property is built well and we hope upkeep is good in the future. This is a problem we have seen with many properties in

1. Staff was extremely helpful and service was top class. A special mention to Prabhat. 2. Complementary airport pick up was very smooth. 3. Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent.

Just what we needed after a long flight

Very clean, lovely restaurant area. Very friendly staff and delicious food - the Negombo favourite prawn curry is a must! The airport pickup was very smooth and our driver was lovely

Great start to our stay in Sri Lanka

A great stay and very comfortable after our long journey. The room was a good size and very clean. Bed nice and big! We enjoyed breakfast.

A very minor thing but the blinds in our room didn't keep out the sunlight, so we woke very early!

Good Hotel with wonderful staff

The staff, in particular the manager Michael were the highlight of our stay here for sure They were all so helpful and friendly, made time to chat and give us recommendations They were very easy going and a pleasure to talk with The Sri Lankan breakfast was very very good 😊

The swimming pool doesn’t get any sun :-( The roof top is a real bonus but it looks very tired and unloved They should definitely make more of this and make it more comfortable and appealing as I suspect guests would really like this and might then spend more time at the hotel

Handy near the airport

Staff were very helpful, it was very modern and clean. Room was big and spacious with a small balcony. The pool was handy for a quick dip.

Only 4 beds by the pool and the sun only hits it in the morning (in January) so make the most of it then.

Very conformable last stay before trip back. Amazing staff, helpful with everything. Close to restaurants and beach.

Poor menu. No cocktails or even wine by glasses (you need to take a bottle).

Very comfortable hotel

We had a very comfortable one-night stay at this hotel! They arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport, and even though our flight arrived a bit late in the night, the driver was there, and they arranged a late check-in for us. We greatly appreciated this opportunity. We had an amazing sleep, and that was all we wanted on that day. The bed is incredibly comfortable! The room is spacious, with no access for mosquitoes, and overall, it is a new and clean hotel. However, the breakfast wasn't as tasty, but in all other aspects, this hotel is perfect! Speaking about the staff, they are there to assist you, and they are very nice and friendly, not trying to take advantage of you, in comparison to other places!

Heerlijke plek om even bij te komen

Perfecte locatie om even op adem te komen na een lange vliegreis. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel dat ons hartelijk ontving. Mooie, ruime kamer en een fijne badkamer. Het zwembad is niet groot, maar groot genoeg om even af te koelen. Het hotel is rustig gelegen aan het einde van een doodlopende straat. In de buurt zijn veel restaurants te vinden en ook het strand is dichtbij.

Op het hotel is niets aan te merken. Wij vonden Negombo niet heel spannend.

Convenient for arrivals/departures in Colombo

We only stayed for a short night after a late-night international arrival from the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged two separate airport pick-ups for us. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was great and contained some delicious fresh fruit. We left right after breakfast so we didn't get to explore the place beyond the breakfast hall but it was perfect as a landing place to start our Sri Lanka trip.

There seemed to be a bit of cigarette smell coming from our bathroom. It was fine when the door was closed.

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful lobby and rooms! The place was spotless after 2 weeks in Sri Lanka a spotless hotel was a pleasant surprise! Food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. A perfect ending to our Sri Lanka vacation!! What a beautiful country you have!!
