WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

THE SETTING OF THE PLACE. COULD WALK WHERE EVER WE WANTED TO IN THE VILLAGE. BEDS WERE SUPER COMFY. STAFF AND OWNER WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE US COMFORTABLE. WOULD DEFT RECOMMEND STAYING THERE.

A nice overnight stay in a good value hotel with good breakfast.

The rooms were nice and clean and the owner was very helpful in suggesting and booking activities. A good location from which to discover Storms River and Tsitsikamma, Included a nice breakfast.

This was a lower budget hotel so don't expect all the frills. rooms on the upstairs balcony can feel a bit exposed.

Big room! Nice location, close to Tsitsikamma NP. The village is a safe place, you can walk over street in the evening.

Won’t go back to this place.

Nothing, only the location

It was smelly, dusty, dirty , loud, we could hear the neighbours snoring and talking, really not nice, sheets was stained, after the owner came to change the sheets the mattress protection was also dirty and she had attitude changing it. The drains was very smelly. The dust mites was also a problem, and to top it up , we had no privacy and the curtains was see through.

It was a perfect place to stay for a night or two, Central to all the surrounding activities in the area. We had a room upstairs with a lovely view.

Great choice when staying at Tsitskiamma National Park

We spent two nights at the Storms River Guest Lodge and it was perfect for what we needed. We arrived earlier than check-in but the lady at the desk gave us lots of local information and we were able to leave the car in their car park whilst we explored the local area. The room itself was a family room which was very spacious for the 2 of us. It was exactly as described and very clean. We had room 1 which was off the lounge and had external access which was nice. We spent a couple of hours relaxing by the pool which was lovely, towels were provided and loungers very comfortable. Breakfast was provided, cold buffet selection plus a hot option of your choice. If you are booking any local activities check with the accommodation first as they can give you a discount code.

Room was slightly noisy when other guests were using the lounge or at breakfast due to the ground floor location. Also it was very light as the outside lights were left on all night and the curtains could have been thicker.

It was a good stay.

The breakfast was good, the room was clean and had electricity even during load shedding. Great location and Helpful staff.

Dogs are allowed to roam around the vicinity. Unfortunately my sister is terrified of dogs and could not fully relax knowing that a dog might show up. The walls are thin, and not sound proof.

There was dog poop in the garden next to the pool; poor isolation (you can hear people talk in others rooms)

Room is well maintain, clean and cossy. Coffee is always welcome in a room.

They must look into putting some bar fridges in the rooms. That's all that's missing.

a cosy home in the centre of storms river

the rooms are quite spacious, bright and airy. lots of on-site parking and great breakfast. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Cosy comfortable stay ideal for tourist

It’s very cosy and the location is great! Beautiful garden seating area. Neat and tidy.

I didn’t spend so much time at the lodge. It was just a overnight stay. The wifi was not the best but other than that I have no complaints

Super Ausgangspunkt um den National Park zu besichtigen.

We had a nice room and very friendly staff. I had a sore ankle and got a Neoprene bandage - that was unbelievable and very helpful!!! The swimming pool was also a great refreshment!!! A great place to visit the National Parc!

Enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location to access all the adventure facilities needed. I would say the breakfast hours could be longer but staff were kind enough to call us before breakfast closed. We had a good stay. Thank you

Great home away from home

Thank you for the most accommodating home away from home. Our host kept a generator running during load shedding and the soccer final and wifi was not interrupted. Great location!

I think lamps would come in handy during loadshedding because the backup generator switched off at 10pm. During load shedding there was no water

2nd Time we stayed. Enjoy the establishment

Unfortunately, we had very loud teenagers (foreigners) next to us. They continued to be on their phones with calls and music until around 2am. They were repremanded by their parents or management but not with too much success. Otherwise all was good.
