Bellissimo Riad

Il Riad è molto bello e appariscente; si trova appena dentro le mura della Medina ed è quindi comodo per raggiungere in taxi dall'aeroporto (dato che nel cuore della città vecchia non si può entrare in macchina); le stanze sono ben pulite e spaziose e i ragazzi che la gestiscono sono molto cordiali, simpatici e vi aiuteranno in qualsiasi cosa vogliate. Appena arrivati vi viene servito il tipico thè marocchino con biscotti La colazione è abbastanza variegata e buona, servita sul terrazzo dell'hotel!

Don’t get it if you don’t like pets and rough areas.

This property was not comfortable because, cats were all over the building and even in front of the rooms.

Cats everywhere with noise all over. This Riad was underwhelming, the environment isn’t good if you’re scared of pets, it’s in the ghetto area and a rough area. The water was not running well, it’s definitely below par.

Cupcake , look good but bad service

The hotel location is near the market just 10 minute walk

When I arrival to Marrakech a bit difficult to access to the hotel , if you use GPS the location is not correctly, so many people on the street near the hotel want to help you with your direction but they ask for money in return , my room has located on the second in green building , my room near the tidy pond ( very small pool ) the room present nicely as à Morrocco style , towel in my room come red mark ( not sure blood or colour ) as my room near the pool so they have many guest come for swim or have tea so make noise for me can’t sleep untill midnight During my breakfast at red building , I been remove from my table for another privileged guest , I’m so upset why my table took for another privileged guests , hotel staff seem to be nice the first day I arrived , but during stay they keep communication with you just for upsell spa or Resturant , As I said hotel look good in picture of booking.con but service is very bad , so many hotel or riad around that area , the hotel look after privileged guests and treat guest in different way

Superb

Great location, staff were very friendly and very helpful. Great breakfast every morning. Our room was quite hot as no aircon and only ceiling fan, however this is the only thing I can say about this property, everything else was perfect

Wonderful stay for our family. Perfect Medina base for Marrakech

Wonderful staff. So kind, so helpful. Great breakfast every morning and pool was perfect size and depth for our 4 year old to cool off in. Quiet, calm and cool haven in the Medina. Beautiful rooftop terrace to watch the sun go down and enjoy a gentle night breeze. Had such a wonderful time. We travelled as a couple with our 4 year old and my mother and all really enjoyed it. Also very easy to grab a taxi on the street if you can't face a walk

beautiful riad with big terrace. we were upgraded to a bigger suite which was very kind of the staff. great locations with many restaurants and museums around as well as easy access to the medina

Well thought out, quiet space with a great team. Certainly recommend

The staff, particularly Abdull who was knowledgeable, helpful and always never overwhelmed by our requests.

If you have issues with narrow stairs then this is not for you.

Thank you for your warm welcome and hospitality

Such a calm, loving and beautiful place! We really loved the staff kindness and the big breakfast. Our 10 month old daughter was so welcome and cared for. Loved the colors, trees, pool and water fountains. The rooftop was beautiful but always to hot to stay in, but the rest of the Riad was comfortly cooler

Its close to the Medina, The staff are very helpful. The room I booked looks newly renovated and was on the 2nd floor. I loved the fragrance in the room. The bathroom was nice although the water pressure could be better. I had a quiet and peaceful stay.

Beauty in every corner

It‘s really wonderful inside. the decoration, the beautiful small swimming pool and the terrace are a very big plus. The riad managers were also very nice and hospitable! Don’t hesitate to try the Hammam it’s a real treat!

It was only a bit noisy because of the renovation on some parts, otherwise, all was good!

Very good

The location was good, inside the medina and just outside of a suk. Perfect for parking the car and leave it there until you travel outside of Marrakesh. The dar was quite well decorated and organized. There are some conventional prices with hammams and restaurants owned by the same company, which were quite good. The bathroom was spectacular and very "istagrammable"

In order to arrive at the hotel you need to walk 5 minutes. Some locals are waiting for tourists to carry them to the hotel and charge an absurd price for 50 metes. Suggest to ignore them or bargain the price in advance (20 MAD should be enough). Breakfast is average. I asked from some fruit and it was never brought. Despite that,, positive experience.

Nice, clean riad located centrally in Medina.

We ordered Hamam and massage and were sent to another riad by the same owners. Unfortunately, we paid for 3 hours of Hamam, massage and pedicure and only received 2 hours. The treatment started with 20 minutes delay, which didn't help. Although the managers in general were nice, they didn't take responsibility for this and charged in full.

Perfect hotel for quiet guests

Beautiful riad in the middle of the Medina. I loved every minute I was there. Such friendly attentive staff, good breakfast. The welcome tea and biscuits in the courtyard was a lovely touch. Comfortable beds, beautifully decorated rooms. Highly recommended.

There is precious little sound proofing, which for us was not a big deal as we are quiet people. However if you are a large loud group, this hotel is not great for you, unless you book out the whole hotel.

Extremely glad to have stay in this Riad!

We had quite a dramatic experience when we landed at Marrakech Airport as the taxi we booked via Booking.com didn't showed up. Hardly anyone speak English when we wanted to get a transport to our accommodation. However when we arrived at Dar Baraka, the staffs were very helpful. We arrived much later than expected at around 11.30pm but they waited for us by the main road as the riad itself was not accessible by car. We feel extremely welcome throughout out stay. The evening staff Mohamad, morning staffs Ali and Nadiam they are all amazing, they were friendly and polite. Ali went beyond to show us the way to a restaurant we booked after his shift and helped us to sort all the problems we faced. The staffs in this riad have definately played a big part of our positive experience in Marrakesh. We are in the superior room and it was lovely, clean and beautiful. The bed was hard and I love it. Morocco breakfast is perfect, we get omelette and yogurt on top. Location is good, easy to walk to a lot of main attractions in 15 to 30 minutes.

The acoustic of the room is not the best Swimming pool is small. Hamman is a little bit overpriced. 2 people for 600 MAD and we were in the small room sharing the 45mibs. It is a good experience though.

Superb

The staff was incredibly friendly and helped us with every need. Lovely old building and very nice breakfast.

Since it is an old building unfortunately one can hear everything and there were some very loud guests who disturbed a bit the peace of this beautiful place. Other than, that everything was perfect.

Beautiful Riad but not a SPA

This place is gorgeous! The hotel is really beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The team is lovely, friendly and very helpful.

the hotel does not have a spa/ hammam but offers treatments at their sister Riad Dar Sara nearby. The treatments were poor and somewhat spoilt the whole experience for us

In general beautiful property, with very nice rest areas around whole hotel. Some of welcome hotel staff were really friendly. good location, clear rooms, decent bathroom with good water pressure for shower and very warm winter blankets.

Attitude - some people should not work in hospitality, also that it was not mentioned, that need to walk trough narrow streets, since car cant go near area - this would be very useful info for elderly people or families who travel with kids & strollers Breakfast was on the rooftop... in general very good idea, but maybe not on cold morning and to put guest in shade..... was beautiful but freezing.. should think of other option, specially for guest who has cold already prior sipping coffee from cold cups...
