Exceptional

We stayed 3 Riads in the trip for different price range. This one is at the middle range but they have best quality of breakfast even all the three riads provide similar items. This one is also the only one I saw staff cleaned the public resting and seating area. The most important is the location is not close to the Mosque, so you don't hear the loud and lengthy Calling for Praying at 4am everyday. This Raid is the only one provide the pick up at the Taxi stop place inside of the Medina (Car can't go in side of Median so it can be tiring for walking while carrying luggages). All the Riads we staied have a good service but this one really go extra miles. I really appreciate that.

Really loved staying in this Riad with my sisters and our friend. The staff were incredibly welcoming and couldn’t do enough for our stay. They were very informative on the Riad, Marrakesh and its surroundings. Nothing was ever too much for them, they were like a family welcoming us into their home. The Riad was in a nice location, just slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main square, which we loved. We loved hanging out on the terrace in the sun, or relaxing in the restaurant having breakfast and coffee in the morning etc. The Hammam and spa was a lovely experience, extremely worth it. The Riad itself was incredibly clean and we had our room cleaned everyday. Thank you to Mohammed, Sofian, Cedric and all the wonderful staff for making our stay one to remember. Thank you for your genuine care, hospitality and really going out of your way to make our time in Morocco relaxed and really special :) best wishes the Greek girls / sisters xx

People working there are great, rooms are very nice and in typical style, there is air-conditioning and heating which are very useful if like us you areive in Marrakech the only rainy day of the year! The only down side is that pillows are very tall and couls be uncomfortable! Breakfast is amazing and the location very central! 100% reccomended

affordable, family friendly riad very close to the city centre

the staff were very friendly and accommodative to all our requests.. we travelled with our one and a half year old toddler.. they provided us with crib for baby.. and the hotel was baby friendly in general .. highly recommend for families !! spa and hammam service in the riad was very good!!!

the lighting in the room and bathroom was a bit dim..

Peaceful stay in the heart of Marrakech

We loved everything! The Riad is a gem and the staff are just amazing. We are so grateful for our stay there, everyone was so lovely and caring and wanted to make sure we felt welcomed and looked after. We had an amazing time in the Riad and would most certainly recommend. All the staff member are outstanding and make you feel at home!

Relaxing, beautiful, and authentic!

The riad was beautiful, it really immersed us in Moroccan culture. The rooftop was amazing, there were so many spots to hangout in and sun yourself. It was very close to Jeema El Fna square. The staff were incredible - thank you Seymour for all your help, and to the whole team for making our stay perfect!

Walking around the small streets the riad is on took a little getting used to but that is the case for the rest of the old town.

This place was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better Marrakech experience.

We enjoyed everything about the property. The staff was absolutely incredible and went out of their way at times to make us comfortable. We are telling all of our friends about this place. What a wonderful place. The food at the restaurant was also amazing.

How they were harassing us for payment at midnight, even though we had already paid. It was only drinks that we had left to pay for. Bed was itchy, room dusty and very hot stuffy as air conditioner did not work.

The Riad Dar El Alia was a memorable, exquisite, and warm welcome stay for our family!

Everything about this riad was exceptional. It felt so authentic and cultural, with many touches of classic Marrakech culture, such as the room decor, lanterns, windows, and even the hand soap! The staff was helpful, attentive, and very friendly. The pool and spa were lovely. The food and drink were always delicious and felt like eating in someone's kitchen. The entire experience felt like being welcomed to a comfortable home.

There was some local noises outside the riad that came into the room in the evenings.

Relaxing riad

Beautiful riad, spacious room, and helpful staff. Lovely welcome drink and cookies on arrival. Lots of lovely chill out spaces to escape from the hectic streets.

The location is a bit secluded and always groups of boys hanging around outside in the evening. 20 minutes walking to the main square, this would usually be fine but was a little far in the summer heat.

Lovely Riad with excellent Staff and great value for money

The Riad is as showed in the pictures. Staff was extremely nice and friendly bravo. The breakfast was very complete: fresh orange juice, tea or coffee, moroccan pancaques and crepes, omelette,etc. The bed was really comfortable, one of the best mattresses I have slept in Morocco. The location of the riad is a bit difficult to find but they came to look for us at the parking and guided us. The second time was easy to find alone. I will be back for sure!

The oilet made a bit of noise when refilling with water and this was annoying during the night. The lights in the room were too tenous, it will be good to have extra lights to see better inside the room.

really nice place except two minuses

The riad itself is very beautiful and complicated and actually consists of two buildings as I understand. the interior is really pleasant and good, its in the center but not too loud. good bathroom, but no toothpaste and toothbrush in it. you have towels and shampoo and shower gel.

the main two minuses are: 1) I really ask you to put the location point on booking on the place where the entrance to the hotel is. maps.me shows the right one. we were very tired after a long trip and we had to ask the hotel manager to meet us. good that we had internet connection, in other case we had no chance to find the hotel. its very easy just ti put the locator where it should be 2) breakfast is very poor and expensive. i would advise everyone not no take it and have a good breakfast in the city.

The hosts were wonderful, chill and super helpful! We left for two days to climb Toubkal and they let us leave our heavy luggage at the riad! Would recommend this place to everyone! Also great location right in the middle of Marrakech.
