Very nice hotel. Nice beach and swimming poll. Staff nice and friendly. Dinner menu could improve

Breakfast was good and varied. Good eggs benedict. Beach was nice. Nice coral reef close to the beach. Very nice and friendly staff.

Dinner menu could be improved, not so much in terms of quantity, but in quality. We had almost every evening grilled fish because there were not many other appealing alternatives

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen und werden wieder kommen!

Das ganze Ambiente und der Duft der in der Lobby sind beim Ankommen wirklich sehr schön. Das Essen war wunderbar und abwechslungsreich. Es war immer sehr viel frisches Obst, Gemüse und Salat da. Die Poolanlage ist wirklich toll und auch der Strand super schön. Besonders mit dem musikalischen Programm am Abend. Toll fanden wir auch, dass man per Knopfdruck am Strandschirm einen der Kellner für eine Bestellung rufen konnte. Außer beim Frühstück muss man für die Getränke während der Mahlzeiten bezahlen. Es gibt kein All-Inclusive. Man bekommt aber immer wieder neue Wasserflaschen bei der Zimmerreinigung und auch beim Abendservice, der bei jedem Zimmer anklopft kann man mich mehr Wasserflaschen bringen. Auch am Pool und am Strand bekommt man täglich mit den Strandtücher eine kleine Flasche Wasser. Für die kühlere Jahreszeit gibt es auch einen beheizten Outdoor-Pool und einen Spa-Bereich wo Männer und Frauen getrennt in die Sauna gehen können. Wer Tauchen gehen möchte kann das benachbarte Robinson Tauchcenter nutzen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und das Equipment ist top. Als Kempinski Gäste zahlt man die Preise für "Externe". Für Robinson Gäste ist es minimal günstiger. Für den Transfer nutzt man am besten den Hoteleigenen Taxiservice. Wir haben das Taxi über Booking gebucht, weil das kostengünstiger war. Wir würden am der Stelle nicht wieder sparen, weil die Fahrt viel zu abenteuerlich war.

Dass es nicht die Option gibt All Inclusive zu buchen.

WORST EVER

I would not recommend this hotel, hotel staffs discriminate people. 自助餐餐厅员工歧视亚洲人，而且不止一个工作人员这样，我们的经历住了两天遇到3个员工歧视，但他们对白人很礼貌，对亚洲人有明显歧视，站在白人身边就能感受到，谁住这家酒店谁受气。

I’ve been visited over 30 countries and stayed with more than hundreds hotels from all levels star hotels. this is by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had staying in this hotel. Facility is old, buffet quality is below average and low value, the hotel is located in soma bay and you don’t have a lot of choice in terms of restaurants selection. What made my stay worse: the staffs in buffet! There were three staffs discriminating my family members for no reason. I will just post one example here: my family member asked for a waffle, the staff repeated and mimicked “waffle waffle” with his laughs not smiles, and continue talked with another staff with laughs in their own language, my family member said to him: you are rude. Finally the staff stop laughs. We don’t know what made the staff laughed. There are two more examples which I don’t quite want to share in details, they treat Asians and white differently. One sentence to sum up: if you are not white, you’d better not staying in this hotel unless you want to be discriminated by some of the staffs.

Ein schöner Urlaub, um noch einmal Sonne zu tanken vor den kalten Wintermonaten.

Wir buchten ein Zimmer im Laguna Club mit Meerblick und Zugang zur Lounge. Der Zugang zum Laguna-Restaurant war super. Es ist klein, ruhig und dadurch sehr privat mit trotzdem genügend und abwechslungsreichen Gerichten. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich, es kannte uns bereits am zweiten Tag und man bekam somit das Gefühl von "Stammkunde". Das Zimmer war für uns gross genug und hatte einen Balkon mit Meerblick, obwohl wir das Meer nur durch die Palmen sahen. Das Bett war riesig und sehr bequem.

Das Hauptrestaurant war uns zu gedrängt mit zu vielen Tischen auf der Terrasse. Die Privatsphäre fehlte komplett und am Buffet kam man sich ständig in die Quere. Nicht unbedingt Fünfsterne-Niveau. Die Auswahl der Gerichte war aber sehr gross, abwechslungsreich und gut.

Good place and location.

Location and spacious rooms

The check in process was not good. The booking process was deceiving because it said pay at the property and it was deducted before I arrived, at check in it was messy and the receptionist did not care to listen, end result may card was deducted twice. Also too many disturbances around the room with painting going on and too many knocks on the door unless you have a DNT, if you remove it someone is bound to knock for one reason or another, it was a bit too much for someone just wanting to relax.

Luxury stay, Nice Beach, No activites

Breakfast was included and was really nice, love it for diversity and quality, but dinner was a bit weird since it was including drinks , any kind of drinks even water, Dress code was mandatory , please check it otherwise stuff will not tolerate it, I didn't like the hotel overall from animation point of view, but the beach was just amazing.

Dinner need to pay extra for drinks No animation not like other resorts in Hurghada or Sharm Elsheikh

Exceptional

The rooms are very comfortable, the food is great, and the whole place is very family-friendly with areas for children everywhere. All interactions with everyone over there were very pleasant. The beach is fantastic and welcoming for various activities like snorkeling around the local reef, or scuba diving via the nearby diving centers. And we love the lazy river!

Everything, the stay was a dream & I saw a very high level of hospitality which made me happy and proud of this amazing team , starting from the receptionist, house keeping and Super Mahrous who was very helpful with everything, the food was amazing and the view was fantastic

Great vacation

The stay was great at all , so relaxing and comfortable with great view , the lovely coral beach and waterfall swimming pool was fantastic , thanks to mr, Ahmed in reception and mr, Wael Abdullah in restaurant they were helpful, friendly and smiling

Half board policy should be reviewed as soft drinks , water , tea , coffee & Juice)should be included in dinner like breakfast compared to the high price Adding more food variety , choices were limited like sea food only grilled fish , was not Kempinski standard

Nice pool and beach facility but completely isolated from town

It’s a nice property and a beautiful location

Food choices are limited and cleaning staff need to be trained better - had a massive ant infestation in our room one day and the electric kettle was always covered in dust.

Perfect

The view was amazing, water activities perfect, lovely corals and fish near the shore. The restaurant staff were very nice and helpful, specially the executive chef was very welcoming of any comments and worked on them right away and tried to work on enhancing the food variety.

The lobby and reception area were noisy due to allowing kids to play inside

Perfect stay in Soma Bay at the Kempinski Hotel

The Kempinski in Soma Bay was the perfect choice. The location, the rooms, the hotel itself with its pools, private beach, a Spa area and treatments on top level, excellent food and much more was a first-class experience for us! On top of that we received a really excellent service. Virtually every employee at the Kempinski was super friendly, professional and the whole staff did everything to make us comfortable. Special highlights for us were the private coral reef directly at the hotel‘s private beach, the sundowner at the beach and the private boat trip including a visit to the „Seven Pillars“. It was just great! I can recommend the Kempinski whithout any restriction.

Family & Kids friendly, with superb staff. definitely will do it again!

Superb Staff, very welcoming and friendly, with inspiring scenic sea view. comfortable walking distance to all the hotel facilities. Dinner Buffet have a decent cuisines variety, was a delicious gastronomic experience and the menu changes everyday with an interesting seafood recipes. Considering the Kids through out the facility functions was a big thumbs-up, Kids buffet , Daycare, vanity steps in public toilets were very nice gestures.
