I didn’t like how they stare at colored people like myself it was a very uncomfortable feeling for me..

Butcher's..Honeybelle. Birdies. Pool area.
All staff were helpful, welcoming and couteous. The atmosphere of the entire resort.
No prices listed in the market and overpriced. No light in armoire. LOUD bathroom doors. Low bed. Only two drawers in room. TV only viewable from the bed. Lights in bed headboard required you to get out of the bed to operate. Difficult access to room fridge due to size of cabinet doors. No direction on use of coffee maker. Limited to no info on resort facilities. Toilet was crooked. Hardware in shower was not attached
.All receipts stated 7% sales tax. 8.4% was charged.

The hotel itself and the grounds were really nice! The pool area is large with lots of chairs and umbrellas. I really enjoyed eating at Birdie's Diner! The food was great and a bit more affordable. The hotel also has a free shuttle that will take you within a 5 mile radius. I do not golf and can't comment on the courses.
I had 3 different rooms during my 5 day stay. The first room was on the first floor facing a parking lot so after the first night i was woken by car alarms, people talking, and grounds crew workers. The 2nd room was on the third floor but right around from the elevator and right across from the stairwell that was used often. I didn't sleep in this room because I found a few mosquitos flying around and knew there was no way I was sleeping with mosquitos. The AC in this room worked but not like my first floor room. The third floor area by the elevator was very stuffy and hot-it did not feel like the AC was even on! There was also a large palmetto bug scurrying the hallway which I killed. I switched to another room on the third floor but 10 doors down from this one and it was better (quieter, no bugs, better AC) It didn't strike me as being entirely clean though. In all the rooms I found dust, and areas on the rug which could have been vacuumed better. Each time I moved I had to repack and unpack because each time I assumed I would have a better room. The location is also about 40 min drive to Palm Beach Island. I felt very far from things and could have been anywhere in Florida. The $40 daily resort fee includes parking and free wifi (what place doesn't offer free wifi these days??), the fitness center and some golf things. I stayed here for a convention otherwise it would not have been on my radar for a place to stay!

The resort fee was a surprise when we checked out. Isn't the whole purpose of staying at your resort, the resort? Why not bake it into the price instead of being so deceptive?
Most of the room was new, but you left the same old doors and sliders to balcony from the original hotel. It's half renovated and half painted over the previous renovation. Very weird.

The hotel lobby appeared to be newly renovated, the staff was extremely friendly.
We booked one of the cottages as we were a family of 5 but the cottage was over 1/2 mile from the hotel and amenities. There were many broken items in the cottage, ie broken closet door completely off, missing baseboard in the kitchen, broken drawer in the bath, fans not working, ripped screen on front door. The maintenance men told us most of the cottages were newly renovated but we had an "old one". The carpet in the living room was sticky and there was food in it. Even though there were 2 bedrooms in the cottage, there was only a queen in one and a full in the other so one of us had to sleep on the couch in the living room. We arrived late at night and there were no sheets to put on the couch so we had to travel back up to the main hotel as there was no way to contact the main lobby from the cottage. We were not given access to the pool in the cottage area until we inquired and were given a key with a $200 deposit.

the resort in general is beautiful
the fact that we did not get house keeping services. they came at 9:30am which I find very early for a resort. they never came back. i had no towels left and when I asked for towels; the front desk gave me a paper back full of towels. i did not use them since I did not know where that paper bag came from. this is why I gave a 9 not a 10 to the property.

Amazing location. Staff were excellent. Golf courses were some of the best I have ever played.
Super high food prices but that was expected given the location and prestige of the property.

This must be a horrible place as we were traveling to get away from hurricane Ian and had mad a reservation here, while on the road the storm got so intense we could no longer drive in it…. We tried to cancel our reservation but they wouldn’t even return emails or calls several hours before we were due to arrive…. How can any business be this money hungry and uncaring for peoples welfare as to not refund there money in the scary situation… Everyone at this establishment should be ashamed of them selves~~~ EVERYONE!!!! Well , that is a true testament of how they must treat their guests!!!! SICKENING to say the least!!
