Ideal beachfriendly apartment

Fabulous apartment 2 minutes walk from the beach. Ours was upstairs and had a huge shared terrace which was great. Hammock, chairs, fan, surfboard rack. Apartment was well equipped and close to all the facilities. Air-conditioning and fans were great. Bed was so comfy and huge. Wifi very fast. Kitchen easy to use.

Pura Vida and surf ! Enjoyed our stay in Villa Solar

Location, close to all facilities and the beach. Layout and cleanliness of the villa. Housekeeping provided every 2 days. Greg, the owner, was very thoughtful before our arrival and gave us all information to check in. He remained available for any other information during our stay. Special mention to Luna who visited us every day, looking for cuddles.

Best place I stayed in my 3 weeks in Costa Rica

Villas Solar exceeded our expectations. Greg, the host was helpful and super responsive to any question we had. The outdoor space is beautiful and surrounded by green, and was a lovely place to have meals. The inside was spacious, and furniture and beds are comfy and all very clean. Kitchen had everything needed if you want to cook your own meals. We worked remotely from there for the week and the wifi was fast and reliable for 2 people to be on video calls. There was even a backup network and power source. We needed a place to work after we checked out and Greg was incredibly accommodating in letting us work from one of the open downstairs spaces. 10/10 would recommend this place for any kind of stay!!

Superb

It is in the center next to the beach, great restaurants, shops... The appartement is large and deco is cute. The terrace has a hammock and a table for 4. Great for a family. Cute little garden. Staff is responsive in less than 30min

It is noisy starting 6.30am due to construction in the field next door or traffic on the street near by. So better to go to bed early and plan to start your day early.

Great place. Would pick again.

Great location and property had everything needed. We were there end of season so was a little tired and kitchen could have been a little cleaner. If you’re there to surf or enjoy the beach it’s spot on. (You’ll be less worried about maintaining it if it was immaculate). Got a nice vibe to it; banana tree outside the window. There are two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a little veranda (by the car park and without privacy, but still perfectly fine. If we were going again I’d still choose the same place! Was big enough for me and me 24 year old don. Even had somewhere for his surf board. Air conditioned, microwave, coffee and soap. What more do you need.

Could have been a little cleaner but frankly I thought was fab. Was one of four buildings around shared central car park, but if you’re staying in the apartment it must be night or raining.

Exactly what we wanted and exactly as advertised

Just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants and the grocery store. Our casita was a home away from home: clean, quiet and comfortable. Being greeted in the morning by Luna the wonder dog sealed the deal.

nice big place near the beach.

This is a very spacious and comfortable house. The kitchen has all the facilities one may need. The owner is very helpful and available when needed. The beach is at just a few minutes walk. Shops and restaurants all at very close distance. Would recommend this place to friends and family.

Exceptional

We had an amazing stay at Villas Solar and would have loved to stay even longer but it was full. The location is exceptional, it is in the center of Santa Teresa, close to all the best restaurants, shops and beach access. The villa is spacious, quiet and equipped with everything you need! The host Greg is great! He gave us amazing recommendations for surfing, yoga (he even joined us for a class!) and set us up with the taxi from Tambor airport. We can't wait for our next visit!

A wonderful experience

Our stay in Villas Solar was perfect, the villa is spacious and extremely comfortable, it literally has everything you need and everything was super clean the day we arrived. Greg was very attentive to our needs and passed by to give us all the instructions we needed regarding our stay The location was perfect, it’s diagonal to Santa Teresa Beach main entrance and has a lot of different restaurants and markets nearby. We will definitely be staying here again next time we swing by Santa Teresa!

Really great apartment near the beach

Communication was great with Greg. Loved having a whole apartment for sure. Would have stayed longer but was full and also double my normal price range!

Beyond the scope of the accommodation was the noise of the street traffic and the constant barking of some local street dogs. But you find that everywhere in the location.

Would Stay Again

It felt safe, had a big patio to enjoy, very spacious, very close to the beach and great restaurants. Host was very welcoming and nice. They have a very cute dog!

It’s a little dated, although it is for sale so I see how there isn’t much of a need to update.

Favorite place in Costa Rica

EVERYTHING was perfect. The check in was easy and Greg was very helpful and accommodating. He even put us in touch with a Surf Instructor and gave some good local tips. The villa is beautiful and well equipped. Right in the middle of town. You could easily stay here for weeks. Can’t wait to come back!
