Located in Cudjoe Key, this lovely house for $413 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Wonderful, oceanfront, two bedroom, two bath, bungalow home is just ten feet from the open water views. Located on the open water, with a 52' concrete dock/seawall complete with dock posts, swim ladder. Beautiful views of the open water from the living room, dining room and kitchen.- perfect location for your boat or you can rent one nearby.This is a fully furnished 2 bedroom/2 bath stilt home with parking and covered living space below. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, gorgeous ocean views, second-floor deck, direct access to the Atlantic and the Gulf. Central A/C and heat, overhead ceiling fans, full kitchen with microwave, full sized washer/dryer, 42' high def flat screened TV and another TV in the bedroom, Wi-Fi, cable,ceiling fans, beach towels, linens, dishes, glasses and wine glasses etc Recreation center with darts, and ping pong. Post Office and a Library 24 Hour Gated Security. We have not overlooked any utensil in the kitchen and of course a sturdy blender for tropical drinks! Gated private community with 80 foot heated shared pool, large kiddie pool, salt water swimming area, marina, convenience market, small post office, 2 lighted tennis court, basketball, bocce courts, ping pong, and two large boat ramps, marina, ship's store. Our very cute little low key fishing community is friendly and has little houses as well as some campers. Located just 15 minutes to either Key West to the west or Bahia Honda State Park (voted one of the top 10 beaches in the U.S.) to the east, a water-lover's dream. This 69 acre resort was created to put the ocean at your back door. Amenities: Central Air Conditioning/Heating, 42'HD TV,additional TV in the master, Full Kitchen, Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Ice Maker, Cooking utensils, Linens provided, Washer, Dryer and Gas Grill (BBQ) Community - 80 foot heated pool, 2 lighted tennis courts, bocce courts, basketball, ping pong, full service marina, boat ramps, salt water swimming area, small playground. Activities: Swimming, boating, skiing, sailing, biking, fishing, tennis, bocci, ping pong, basketball, scuba diving, parasailing, airplane rides, golf in Key West, snorkeling Looe Key. Area: We are located on accessible deep water boating channels to both the beautiful back country (bayside)as well as a quick ten-minute run to the open Atlantic (oceanside) and it's Coral Reefs. Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary is a nearby must for snorkeling and diving in the crystal blue Atlantic. On the gulf side, Cudjoe Key offers the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge...A kayak or small boaters paradise. For Divers and Fisherman: The retired 523 foot WWII U.S. missile tracking ship Gen. Hoyt S. Vandenberg that once tracked space launches off Cape Canaveral, and also monitored Soviet missile launches during the Cold War, has been intentionally sunkoff Key West in late May to become an artificial reef in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Trip Interruption/Cancellation Insurance is paramount to protect yourselves from all manner of life's situations including hurricanes, death, loss of job, illness etc etc. Make absolutely sure you take it out. Venture Out charges a fee of $125.00 due at check in, payable to Venture Out, this is for use of the amenities. Parking for one car, one golf cart and one motorcycle, additional vehicles will park in overflow parking. If you are bringing a boat, we have trailer storage for you just down the street. We staid here in August of 2023 It was not the cleanest, the comforters and pillow shams on the beds were soaking wet like the just came out of the washing machine and not dried, there were broken windows, broken cabinets disgusting bathrooms, ragged towels in bathrooms, and most of the outdoor furniture was broken the sliding door needs replacing. The entire place needs upgrading this place was not worth the money we paid, the host was hard to get in contact with and when we told her we had to dry all the bedding she just said OK like we were asking if we could. Find a better place in Venture Out not this one for your vacation.

We Really enjoyed our stay at this property! The house was clean and had nice amenities, including Smart TV, Cable, & WiFi! It was nice to have a grill! I cooked a great meal for Sis & Bro-in-law who stopped by for a visit! Beautiful evening to dine on the covered patio overlooking the water! The community had lots of things to do, although we mostly just relaxed and enjoyed the house & views! We will definately go back!

Owner charged us very large fee for our dog shedding and lied and said she peed in home which she Never has done. Not worth the money. Large disappointment. Unstocked. Unfriendly and unkind.

We enjoyed being literally on the water in this little Venture Out community. We explored the lower keys over the week, including a kayak tour, backcountry boat tour, several restaurants and heading to key west a few days. The property is a bit worn but you are in paradise so it’s all good! We did hang at the pool several days and enjoyed the deck and the area below the house.

We absolutely loved our stay at Venture Out. It is a hidden gem in the lower Keys driving distance to both Key West and Marathon. The house is waterfront and there’s a beautiful place to sip your coffee and watch the birds and the boaters go by. The house is adequate, a little worn but more than functional. We are an easy going family and don’t require luxury. We enjoyed sitting in the deck and the safe family atmosphere. We would definately stay here again.

Great location on the water! Dock is perfect for fishing, easy access for paddle boarding or kayaking (but boards and kayaks not provided). Neighborhood pool is nice but closed early at dusk due to a lighting issue. Easy travel to Key West. The online photos are a little outdated and the property was a little worn as described in other reviews, but it was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The dining and living area was roomy with a nice sized round table perfect for family game night. The appliances seemed newer, refrigerator had a good ice maker and air conditioner worked great. Kitchen cabinets are old and one didn’t close properly, shower doors were hazy and off the track, and mattresses a little worn. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean but we were a little disappointed with housekeeping since the floors were swept but they were still dirty and the large air exchange vent in the hallway was filthy (especially disappointed since there was a separate housekeeping fee). We still enjoyed the week at this house.

The views and the outdoor deck and seawall outweighed any of the small negatives of our stay. The house was clean and comfortable with only a few minor issues such as older cabinet and shower doors, small bugs by the slider that we sprayed for, and my husband wished the a/c couId go colder at night (but it was perfect for me). The kitchen had everything we needed and the grill was great to cook the fresh fish we caught in the back. Beds were comfortable and their was plenty of room for our family of 4. The lot seemed like one of the best at venture out with plenty of space outdoors and a breathtaking, unobstructed view. The location was great since it was a short drive to Key West. I'll definitely miss looking at the ocean from the kitchen table and deck, would stay here again.

Enjoyed it very much! Really enjoyed watching all of the fish swimming around the dock in front of the house.

The location was perfect for us. Our main reason was being on the water, bbq.. picnic tables, deck overlooking water. 20 minutes to Key West, and the house had everything we needed, including community pool!! Had a great time and super easy process.

There are only two things that we had an issue with. The cleanliness of the home (mainly the floors) and the condition of the frying pans. We needed to keep our sandals on in the house or our feet would be black. The pans are old and scratched up. We were considering buying new ones to use and leave. Other than those two things, we would definitely stay here again.

Venture Out is a great community! We love the quiet, secure location. This property has a great location and view of the ocean. It was clean but out dated with lots of broken or things needing attention: mattress was a pillow-top with deep sunken in areas, the bed frame was too large and I hit my knee on it a few times, dresser drawers almost fell out when I pulled them open, non-stick cookware needs thrown out, old gas grill that was dirty when we arrived. Nothing that ruined our stay. We would stay here again. Positives: clean, big fridge/freezer with ice maker, good water pressure in showers, comfy couches and adirondack chairs, upper deck with great view of ocean and sunrise, shaded parking under unit, great price, quiet community with lots of amenities.

The property is located in wonderfully clean and quiet gated community. The pool was amazing. We had the best week of weather. Fished out front several times, enjoyed the deck and grill and shaded under area.
It is a rental, so it does need some TLC but all in all we didn’t mind because we picked it for the spot and the spot was amazing .
Susan and Jennifer were very attentive with any questions we had.
Definitely would come here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here in the Venture Out community. Right on the water, it would be great to have your own boat here. Neighbors were very friendly. We cooked and had most of our meals at the house. We charted a fishing trip and cooked the fish we caught. We could have used some more kitchen towels. The kitchen was otherwise well stocked with all you need to cook. The glass ware cabinet door needed some repairs to the hinges . But no other problems. We would definitely stay here again.

Gated community was nice, safe and quiet. A mix of RVs, trailers and homes. Very friendly people. Lots of people fishing. Lots to do in the park and nearby even without driving to Key West.

We loved the location. There was a strong, chemical “free-breeze” smell when we arrived- only one glass wine glass, one kitchen towel and a bit unswept.
Very comfortable bed but several lights did not function or had no light bulb.
We will remember to Bring our own beach towels when we return, just hoping to find it with a bit more attention to these things.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. They views were absolutely beautiful and worth it in and itself. The place was a small but cute home. It had all the necessities you would need. Just a short drive to the keys. We would stay here again.

the renter was very nice and accomodating....but there were a few things that were wrong with the unit....the window behind the table rattles really bad...we had to put paper in it to keep it from rattling as loud as it was, the glass sliding doors don't look so you have to use a stick to keep anyone out and they need some sort of blinds to keep the sun out, the cabinets are peeling and 3 doors don't stay closed and the trash had not been emptied before we got there so we had nowhere to put our trash bags and there was dust on the lights, the switches, the hooks on the doors, etc.... Thick 1/2" tall dust.

The property needed some work inside and out. The kitchen cabinets were loose and the flooring was loose as well. The view was exceptional, but the deck vibrated and made a noise when the wind was blowing, which was most of the time. We liked the area and convenience to Key West but will stay elsewhere when we return in the future.

This is a great place to relax and enjoy the water views! Its location is close enough to Key West without being caught up in traffic and noise! We planned several excursions and loved that it is central and safe! We would definitely stay here again!

Check in process was easy, The cottage was clean and well stocked, the manager was sweet and friendly, the beds were comfortable, but being right on the water was fantastic - gorgeous sunsets, interesting wildlife in the water to see, cool shops and restaurants to tour, it was a wonderful time and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful vacation with husband and wife and her parents at this property. Waking up to sunrises every morning on the deck, fishing every night right out back, enjoying the huge pool which we had largely to ourselves, and the other amenities of the community (to include being gated, very well maintained, and secure) made this the perfect end to the summer.
Is there a light bulb out or a cabinet door slightly off center? Sure, but if you are focusing on that and not the beautiful views from the deck, the dining room, or the pretty much all around you, the well stocked, although gently used, kitchen items, and the other amenities like wi-fi, smart TV, two bathrooms and bedrooms which made this such a comfortable and relaxing vacation for us, then you probably would find something to complain about anywhere.
We couldn't be happier with our stay and my wife and I are already planning to come back with our son during his summer break next year.

Termites and ants were horrible. If you can’t stand bugs this is not your place. Now, it was clean, well equipped except expect to wash towels. We rented for 1 week with 4 adults and we washed towels every other day. I think we only had 3 towels per bathroom. Also they don’t provide detergent so buy it before you get there. You will also need toilet paper as we had 1 partial roll on spool and one extra. Paper towel as well as trash bags. For a week stay there wasn’t the usual required housekeeping items provided in other rentals. Now that all being said, the location is awesome, neighborhood great, we enjoyed the stay. It was clean although dated. Plenty of outside space and waterfront. We enjoyed the stay just keeping it real in the review. If a budget waterfront rental is what you need this is a good option just buggy and bare bones. Fishing was great.

Outstanding view
This was a perfect vacation. The 180 degree view of the ocean was amazing, and the water was crystal clear We could see all kinds of different fish including eels and sharks. The amenities were great. The staff from the resort were exceptional and the community store was convenient. And of course there is so many things to do that is within a 30 minute drive its a great location. 5 stars highly recommend.
