Always the best at Karen’s home and sunset beach

My siblings and I rented this gorgeous home to celebrate our mom’s birthday. There were 13 of us and everyone had plenty of space to sleep, relax, and enjoy time together. The views were spectacular from every room. We enjoyed walks on the beach, hot tub soaks, movie night, and home cooked meals. The elevator was a nice perk as we unloaded our vehicles. The home is on a quiet street in a gated community. We felt very safe and secluded. Karen was very helpful with the planning as we were not familiar with the area. There are grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, vineyards, and golf courses within easy driving distance. We fell in love with the home and area and hope to return. Thank you for a memorable family vacation!

The home is spacious, well laid out and decorated very well. All the bedrooms were spacious and had comfortable mattresses! The interior was very clean. The pool area was beautiful and again had plenty of furniture. The only negative was that the doors facing the oceanside had a great deal of rust and were very difficult to operate! None of the women could open them...so the men had to be there to help. I'd highly recommend this property...a piece of heaven on earth!

We have vacationed at this property for several years now, and have made more memories there than we can count. From mornings kayaking on the front side of the house, to long days going back and forth from the amazing private pool and beach, dinners and storytelling around the large round table in the dining room, to watching shooting stars with beverage in hand while listening to the ocean after dark. The home is very well appointed, right down to a nice selection of beach chairs for all. The owner Karen is very accessible and always on top of any unexpected issues that may arise. We will always cherish the many memories made in this beautiful home, it was perfection for us in many ways!!

We had an amazing time at Karen's beach beautiful beach house. The house has so many amenities that any family would need or want on a family vacation. She is so accommodating and her communication with us was superb. Can't wait for our next Sunset Beach vacation at this lovely home!

We had a great family vacation! The house was exactly as pictured in the photos. Very comfortable and lots of space to enjoy. The beach is beautiful and we all loved the hot tub and pool.

Beautiful, clean house - has everything you would want - great furnishings, tons of beach and pool toys, stocked kitchen, etc. Owner is very attentive and responds quickly to any questions. The location is perfect; since it’s at the end of the island the beach is expansive and almost completely private. We had a wonderful experience in the house.

In 2019 my wife and I were planning a beach vacation with our two adult children and their spouses and our four kids. When we found the Triplett house we knew it would be perfect for our large family gathering! We scheduled our stay for the summer of 2020. When COVID hit we weren't comfortable traveling and we called the owner and requested to move our reservation to August of 2021. The owner accommodated our request for delaying our reservation to 2021. We have just returned from our BEST ever family vacation. The house was perfect with bedrooms for our six adults and four grandkids! We celebrated the Olympics with our own version of the Olympic competition events breaking our families into teams representing Italy, Mexico, Italy, and the USA. The beachfront location made it easy to carry chairs and beach toys to the ocean. The house has a scenic view of sunsets on Sunset Beach. It also is close to many great restaurants that accommodate young children.

Great family vacation and Karen is great to deal with no problems at all

We rented this home for the second year in a row. Loved it so much last year that we knew it would be perfect for our family this year and we were invited back by the owner. Karen seemed very welcoming to families with young children. We even brought my 86-year-old grandmother who easily used the elevator to get from floor to floor. We took my two sisters and brother-in-laws and 6 children under 8 yrs. Upon arrival the house was clean and well equipped as it was last year for our family. It is a good location, private but close to necessities. I will say a huge difference this year is that there is a new neighbor "resident" who does not keep her three white dogs on leashes and she is constantly "on the lookout". It was really odd but we navigated it. It was a good week overall. Pool cleaning happened a day late but the owner was prompt to contact them. I was really surprised when we were NOT invited back at the end of our stay because the housekeeper had several complaints that were explained to me but seem very petty. There were loose toilet paper holders and towel racks upon arrival that we did not point out to the owner. Routine maintenance, but we were blamed for being "rough on them". I removed a glass lamp, chess set, glass orb and a literal "wake-up bell" from the kids bunk room (who puts any of that in a kids room?) and put it on a high shelf in the laundry closet next door for safe keeping. We were blamed for not putting these 4 items back in their places and loosing the bell. Which the owner will find when she looks herself. My son with autism did etch something into a window sill which I offered to pay for. All in all, it is a shame, but I would definitely tell anyone with many young children or children with special needs to find a more kid friendly home. There is no wheelchair access to beach which was tough for my grandmother. I would also tell anyone renting to check every detail upon arrival or else you will be scrutinized. Check every toilet paper holder, towel holder and toilet seat.

House is perfect for our needs. Always clean and well maintained. Outstanding activities are available for us. Backyard and pool area are the Best!!Every year there is a wonderful new addition and a great surprise!Karen is a delight to work with.

We have been going to the beach for 30 plus years and by far the best house ever = perfect location and perfect house - Karen the owner was great - any questions or issues were immediately addressed - can't wait to go back next year. 5 stars

Our family of 12 (3 generations) enjoyed 10 days on Sunset Beach for Christmas. It felt like home away from home - but with the most amazing sunsets! We enjoyed all of the comforts and luxuries we rely on at home (hot tub, great kitchen, beautiful decor, game room, comfy beds). It was very spacious so we were never on top of each other. Karen was fabulous to work with. We hope to come back one day soon and make more fabulous memories!

Beautiful setting. Lovely home. Owner truly cares about the property and the guest experience. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend Thanksgiving with family. Look forward to renting again in the future.
