The property is beautiful, and everything you need is at your fingertips. The kids loved exploring the coastline behind the house and down at White's Cove. The people we met were amazing! We saw red fox, seals, eagles and little lobsters. It was an incredible experience.
The check in process was easy and the directions were spot on. Everything was perfect at the house, so we didnt need to contact anyone, although I'm sure that the response would have been great. I loved every part of my stay.
Nearby, in O'Leary, is a fabulous breakfast/diner: The Maple House Bakery and Cafe. Wonderful food and service! Lots of loval antique shops and experiences to be had. Perfect family vacation.

This house was very spacious and had a beautiful ocean setting. The house was full of all the things you would need. It is a bit of a drive to that end of the island but more than worth it.

Private beaches and memories to last a lifetime. If you want to truly “get away” this is what you’re looking for. You will experience unparalleled privacy and beauty. All island attractions are a comfortable car ride away, and house is immaculately clean and well stocked. Thank you Nancy and Dave for sharing this slice of heaven, we will be back.

Beautiful property! We did a lot of traveling around the island but it was wonderful coming back to this property. It was peaceful and secluded. Internet service in the area is not great which posed an issue with my husband being able to work remotely. He thought it was a negative but I didn’t mind him being forced to spend more time with us. Thank you!

The house is lovely — clean, comfortable for 4 adults and two kids. The views are stunning, the area is peaceful and quiet. Great for artists (hard not to be inspired by the cliffs at sunset!) It was nice to explore the western side of the province. No stores or restaurants near by, but they are within 15 min drive on quiet country roads. Thanks so much for letting my family have this experience.

The house is large and quite comfortable with fantastic views of the ocean and the bluffs. Being on the south-western tip of the island, It is quite isolated from towns and ameneties however that only adds to the experience of getting away from the stressed of life. Beaches, stores, and tourist attractions are but a short car ride away.

The property was beautiful with amazing views and spectacular sunsets. The property was well equipped and close to a grocery store. The hosts were great and quick to respond to any questions. The location is great for a getaway but you will need to plan day trips to tourist attractions. This was our first visit to PEI and would definitely look at this property when we return.

Breathtaking Beauty
This was my first experience renting for a vacation with VRBO and Dave and Nancy couldn’t have been better hosts. The place is absolutely stunning and was spotless upon arrival. Everything is labelled clearly around the house , plenty of day to day items to use and a everything you could want to help you create a seafood and lobster feast ! The property is gorgeous and house has plenty of room for everyone. The views are stunning and the cliffs and waterfront are so much fun to explore. There are even some games and rainy day things for the kids. Communication was excellent with Dave and property managers, we booked a week for next year because we were so impressed with the house , the views and the overall experience! Can’t wait to go back !

Sunny and warm
The property was in a beautiful location and the house was very clean. It was sunny for our visit and the house gets lots of afternoon sun. The path down to the beach was difficult for the grandparents and we definitely had to keep a close eye on our 4 year old, but we enjoyed the views and privacy.

We had a great time at this property! The house is beautifully decorated, equipped with everything you need, and the views are simply spectacular! If you are looking for fabulous sunsets and a quiet atmosphere, this is the place. Communication with Dave and the property manager was seamless.

We stayed at the property with our children (19 & 21) and their partners in this wonderful home. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. Perfect location far from everything, calm and rest is assured. We explored the beach area, with the rocks and sandy beach, what a beautiful setting so much that the kids did not want to explore public beaches , they preferred the privacy and calm that we had along the shore. As already had been in PEI a few times when the kids were kids, we enjoyed discovering this less touristy region. We still made a day in Cavendish to find a little nostalgia. Mini-golf and ice cream at Cow's! We also went to buy our lobsters directly from the fishermen's wharf less than 3 minutes from the house, what an experience. We also played golf, and rode our road bike (note that there is no shoulder on the road, but motorists are very courteous, and change lanes when passing). Finally, we were able to admire the wonderful sunset
every evening. So many magical and precious moments when life seems that's was well needed in these unprecedented time... Thank you to the hosts for sharing this magnificent house with us, we would be staying there for a while :) We will be back for sure !

Wonderful Week
We had a delightful experience at Dave and Nancy’s home. As hosts they left no amenity unaddressed. The location was gorgeous and although we had to drive a bit to get to some of the main PEI attractions it was worth it. Already talking about booking again!

Beautiful property with lots of space for our family, none of the teenagers had to share a bed which they we thankful for. The house had everything you could need to prepare meals. The cliffs and beaches around the property were beautiful, full of adventure and treasure. A great property!

What an amazing place to stay!
Our family and friends spent a week at Dave and Nancy's place and all we were left saying is WOW! The home looks as good if not better than the pictures. We made great use of the lobster pot, but the biggest surprise we enjoyed was the beautiful private beach! There was no need to go anywhere! It was as nice if not nicer than any other beach we visited. Kids and adults alike had a great time. Everything you need is within a 1/2hr drive for food and drink! This was one of the best cottage rental experiences we have had in the past 10yrs of renting cottages!

It truly was everything we were hoping for.
This beautiful home provided stunning views of the Northumberland Straight, nightly spectacular sunsets (the back windows face west), and had everything we needed for a wonderful week away in PEI. We enjoyed the remote location on the northwest shore, the fantastic cliffs and rugged beach (did some swimming and snorkeling), the nearby lighthouses, and the nearby quality restaurants (Northport Pier was our favourite). Golf at the close-by Mill River was amazing too. Hoping that next summer will again include a week (or more) at this wonderful location.

Family vacation
The home was beautiful with an absolutely breathtaking location. The sunsets were spectacular. I wish we would have researched the area we were in better, as we had to drive quite a ways to get to a clean beach and any tourism areas. However, if one is looking for a place for simple peace and quiet then this is the location for you! It was very peaceful!

Beautiful home with a beautiful view!
This home was breathtaking from the moment we walked through the door. Very modern and stylish, no comfort spared and sparkling clean. The views are spectacular from every window.
Each room was nicely furnished, beds were very comfortable. Lots of seating at the table and in the living rooms. The owners have thought of everything to make you feel at home. WIFI was excellent and the kids enjoyed the access to Netflix upstairs and down.
Once we got brave enough to walk down the steep rocks, there are numerous private beaches all within a few minute walk. The cliffs were challenging for the kids, but they loved the adventure.
Dave was very friendly and easy to communicate with,
making us feel welcome as soon as we arrived.
My favourite spot in the house was the screened in room overlooking the ocean. It was lovely to be out there in the cool air and let the refreshing winds blow.
The West Point beach is just a short drive away, and there was an excellent restaurant, The Catch, also within a short drive.

Heavenly vacation!
This vacation in Pei was absolutely perfect! The house is so comfortable and Nancy and Dean took such care to make it homey. There was nothing we couldve wanted more. the view is breathtaking and the area is so peaceful. The children literally did not want to leave! We all said we wouldve stayed another week, and next year is already in our minds for a repeat visit! Thank you for everything!

Fantastic view, very comfortable house
We stayed in this home for seven wonderful days. The house itself is amazing to say the least. A perfect location to relax in comfort, and enjoy the water, red cliffs, private beach and spectacular sunsets! Fresh seafood is available just four minutes down the road and you can't get any fresher than that. Everything you could possibly need was at the house, even some things that you didn't know you needed. The owners were extremely easy to contact and were always willing to help answer any questions we had. I will definitely tell my friends about this house, all they have to do is look at my pictures to fall in love. The nicest touch was the text message from the owners to have a safe drive home! Thank you for sharing your home.

Beautiful Home.
We stayed in this beautiful home Sept. 8-15. We had a great time exploring PEI. The weather was sunny and warm. Who could ask for more?
The house is large and well decorated. As there was only two couples we each had our own floor. The kitchen is complete with everything you could possibly need. The view from the veranda is beautiful and we spent time at the end of our day sitting outside relaxing and enjoying the amazing sunsets.
The reason for only four stars is that the bath towels had seen better days so if you are fussy about towels bring your own. Also when we arrived the garbage cans were full. We later found out that it is picked up once a month and because of this we were told to leave our garbage outside the cans. This is not a good arrangement and contributes to the amount of flies that are around. The garbage should be taken away by the cleaner so that the new arrivals have empty cans.

Outstanding Vacation Spot!
We recently spent the week in PEI at this location and were blown away by the beauty of both the house and the property. The house itself is beautiful... brand new with no expenses spared. We stayed there with 7 people very comfortably. The bedrooms were large and the living area/kitchen was a great spot to see the views. As fantastic as the house was, the best part of this property is the large ocean waterfront that takes you down to the rocks and beaches below. My family enjoyed sitting on the rock and swimming in the ocean behind the house almost as much as we did when we went to the beaches around PEI. You can walk for quite some distance along the waterfront. And given this is on the West side of the island, the sunsets were some of the most spectacular we've ever seen. Thanks to Nancy and Dave for a great vacation!

This was our 3rd time to the island, we were vacationing with our extended family and needed a large place to accommodate everyone (we were 7). The house was easy to find and access, once inside it was preteen & even still had the new house smell. The photos in this add don’t do the house justice, the open kitchen, living room & dining area make cohabitation easy & pleasant. The huge dining table allowed everyone to sit together comfortably & then the 2 living rooms allowed the family to break apart to relax in the evenings. There is 1 bedroom which is not photographed, the kid's room with a double bunkbed (double top & bottom) which was perfect for our teenage children. I would suggest the owner install an outside hose to facilitate cleaning up from the beach walks outside.
If you’ve never been to PEI the edge of the island can sometimes be slanted like a conventional beach with sand & you can just stroll down & other times its a cliff straight down and required stairs to get to the ocean. This house is more of a cliff situation if you have limited mobility or small children the beach area behind the house might be tricky BUT once you get there it is stunning & completely private (we did not run into 1 person) we could easily walk to 4 rocky beaches that were covered in sea glass. The more easy access type beaches aren’t far but you’ll need your car for that about 10 minutes in both directions. The other thing to note is the location, this property is pretty far from most tourist attractions if that's what you like you’ll need to drive at least an hour to get to places like Summerside & even further to get to Cavendish but if you want quiet isolation you will not find a better property.

This rental property is above and beyond the pictures, from the moment upon arriving on the road to walking into the front foyer is just breathtaking. Dave and Nancy are just wonderful and easy to contact.
I can not begin to say this property has everything you need to feel at home and then lots more. views from every room in house is just amazing. this was our first rental property on island. My husband has a lot of family on island this was my 1st time visiting. this prental home made this even more breathtaking. and with in 1 day of being here we are booking this for next year.
