About this house rental
This tropical paradise is the perfect place to enjoy and relax on your next vacation to the Fort Lauderdale area with a gas heated pool and a 6 ft. privacy fence. Our home is recently updated and beautifully landscaped. Your party of 6 or less can rent the house which is 1900 sq. ft. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a large quiet sunroom. There is a $325.00 cleaning fee and a $500 refundable damage deposit. Pets are welcome with a refundable pet deposit. Please contact Mike at 618-401-1722 with any questions. With respect for our neighbors, the home is not available for parties or group gatherings of any kind. This property is intended for families & mature adults. We do not rent to under 30 year olds or college groups. Children welcome at this non smoking property. Check-in is at 4 PM on day of arrival. We are located in the most prestigious area of South Florida that is about 1.5 miles from the beach and the trendy shops and restaurants in downtown Fort Lauderdale ( las Olas Blvd) The Fort Lauderdale airport is only 10 minutes away and the Miami airport is 30 minutes away. It's only minutes away from the beautiful Ft Lauderdale beach, fine restaurants and night life in Fort Lauderdale, The Everglades, biking, Golf, Tennis, Basketball, Miniature Golf, Casino, horse Racing, Fishing, Shopping, Restaurants, Sightseeing, Swimming, Snorkeling, Diving, sailing, Surfing, Jet Skiing, Shelling & Cruise Ships ( day trip or extended stay) depart from Ft. I really enjoyed my stay. It was in a great neighborhood that was very convenient to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The house itself was nicely done. The rooms and decor were simple but elegant. I would definitely stay again

The house was very clean and in a great location. The hosts were accommodating and very friendly. We will definitely be coming back on any return travel to Ft. Lauderdale.

I stayed here for 7 weeks. The location was ideal -a short ride to the beach and a short ride to Las Olas Blvd. The neighborhood was superior.
House was clean, pool was amazing and clean. Great supply of beach towels and linens.
Manager was great and responded quickly.
The owner manages the NEST a/c remotely so I spent a lot of time communicating with the manager every time I wanted the air conditioning turned off because I was not able to turn it off on my own. If it was turned off I then had to contact manager again to turn it on again.
The retired gentleman who lives on the shared property is kind and helpful when needed but tends to micromanage the pool area (cleans up after you and re- arranges furniture you have moved) and is home all day, every day. So, there is an uneasy sense of being monitored at all times.
The house has 3 beds plus the small couch bed so if you have 6 people, people have to share beds. Having 2 beds in one of the rooms makes more sense.
Overall, the house is great.

The large park that was two blocks away was great for walking the dog, playing pickle ball, tennis, etc. Lisa, the host, was incredibly gracious throughout the entire booking and renting process. We are already in the process of booking this home again in 2023.

Very clean, quiet setting close to everything. Convenient and the check in check out process was very easy. Also had an issue with something in the house an it was taken care of in a timely manor.

The house was so nicely decorated, cleaned and equipped. The pool was spotless and everything outside was great. The check in and check out instructions were very clear. I highly recommend this property.

We liked the house and amenities but were not told the owner would be controlling the thermostat in the house through a Nest thermostat requiring a pin to adjust temp. Would not stay again because of that. We requested the temp be turned down from 77 upon arrival to 73. Sometime early the next morning it was lowered to 74 and were told to use the ceiling fans. We were 3 adults with no children running in and out.

Location is amazing. Great neighborhood, proximity to beach, restaurants, airport, etc. The pool and patio in the backyard was beautiful. The downside - there is a new 3-story, 3-unit condo that overlooks this property's backyard and pool. There were painters and other people working on the outside of the house while we were there. It will only be more awkward when new residents move in and are sitting on their balcony looking at you swim/hanging out. If privacy is important to you, this might not be the best rental property for you. Bathrooms could have been cleaned better, there was dust on some of the furniture and hair on the floor and in the shower/tub.

This house was perfect for us and our family. A nice clean house with a great pool and patio in a walkable location to many Ft. Lauderdale areas. Manager was responsive and everything was as good as advertised. We would give a 6th star for the incredible blender. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your place.

Our family stayed in this house several weeks ago. We were disappointed to discover the following:1. There are two houses on the property and the pool is shared. There is a nice gentleman who lives in the other, smaller house. The windows of his house are facing the windows of the main house and the pool area. This was not in the description of the property. We felt like we were being watched through the whole stay. 2. We were charged with extra 240 for cleaning due to "stain on a chair". All furniture in the house is made of very light color material. Even a drop of water leaves a stain that dries up later. This is not suitable for renters. 3. There is a stalled condo construction next door. The wind brings dust and construction smell to the pool area and the backyard. We have been renting houses through VRBO for a very long time. This is a first time this happened to our family

Great property at a great price. WorkedWonderfully for our group of 8- 2 adults, 3 teens, 3 kids. Pool was amazing and warm enough for December swimming. Location was convenient, and home was immaculate and had everything we needed. Friendly property manager too! Recommended!
