ACTIVITIES (on-site or near by): This coastal house is in the gated community of Ocean Colony, and is a five-minute walk to the Ritz Carlton, beach and walking trails. Near by beaches include Montara, Moss Beach, Half Moon Bay, San Gregorio, and Pescadero. Enjoy Golf, Biking, Fishing, Shopping, Swimming, Live Music at Ritz, Horseback Riding, Diving, Surfing, Sailing, Walking, Dining at Half Moon Bay or other ocean view restaurants. This is the perfect location to access many California attractions, San Francisco 25 miles, short drives - Santa Cruz, Napa Valley, Great America, Six Flags Marine World, Monterey, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach and Stanford. San Francisco Airport (SFO) is about 25 minute drive. Nearby (two miles), Princeton Harbor is a working harbor where you can buy your fish fresh or smoked. The protected beaches within the harbor are great for children, and the bluff walks above provide views of the world-famous Mavericks surfing area. A flat paved 14-mile long bicycle trail runs from the Harbor along the beaches past Half Moon Bay and other trails. The seaside town of Half Moon Bay with its galleries and restaurants are a short five minute drive. Enjoy restaurants, like the Navio at the Ritz-Carlton, or the award-winning Pasta Moon, or Zagat-rated Cafe Gibraltar, or watch the sunset from the Moss Beach Distillery or go to La Costanera, the best Peruvian food outside of Peru!

8 of us came from around the country to celebrate a big birthday and it was fantastic! Everyone who walked into the house oohed and aahed. The furnishings and art work set an upbeat tone for a wonderful 2 days. The location is fabulous--just a few blocks from the ocean. The house had great seating areas and all the kitchen amenities that anyone would want. It was very easy to communicate with Anna and she was very nice to us. I highly recommend this home for a group get-away.

We all had plenty of room in the house which was clean and well stocked. The house is in a great location and we enjoyed the short walk to the Ritz. I had to reach out to the property owner, who responded immediately.

We had four couples total come and stay at this beautiful home for my birthday. It's newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful . We love the flow of the house and the backyard was very nice for lounging . The only negative thing was one of the rooms has a pull out sofa bed and bbq needed cleaning and propane. We ended up cooking inside . The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and dishes and nice glasses. It's location is wonderful and we walked to the ritz twice! The dining room is huge and perfect for group dinners and playing games. Everyone had a great time.

We used this house while having a family function at the Ritz. The house was great with a fantastic setup in the backyard. Less then a 10 minute walk to the Ritz. Great communication from the owner as well. Would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for good space to stay in HMB.

This was my first VRBO rental, and due to that there was some issues using the platform in general. However that is about the platform in general not this property.
That being said I still feel like there was a couple of mistakes on the listing. There was not hot tub access when I visited, but that may be temporary while the owner fixes it.
The property has an excellent number of sleeping a accomodations and that was very important to me since we mostly used the property for sleeping in-between wedding festivities. It was also located very close to our wedding venue at the Half Moon Bay Golf links which made the booking a no brainer for me and my wedding party. Would recommend for anyone spending time in half moon bay.

Great family getaway for a College Graduation Celebration. This home was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 3 children. We went into Half Moon Bay for a lunch and spent the rest of the time at the house and used the outdoor BBQ for great meals. It was the perfect getaway. We had four vehicles, but there was a parking area available to us a short distance away, so our son and daughter-in-law that had motorized scooters offered to park there for the weekend and used their scooters to get back and forth. A great VRBO experience!

Great family getaway for a College Graduation Celebration. This home was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 3 children. we had a terribile time because first of all it did not have what was in the pictures of the advertising. ie:no outdoor fireplace which would have made the backyard useful.
BBQ was not working it was leaking gas badly very unsafe.
Thermostat for heating and cooling was not working so it was very cold at nights and most of us did not sleep well or sleep at all.
electrical problems we kept loosing power and electricity because breakers were tripping and we did not have any unusual usage to make them tripping.
we had to call the owner to come and reset the breaker and took him an hour to show up in the meantime we had no power in halph of the house.
we told the owner and showed him all the problems and he agreed that the problems existed and didn't do anything about them.

Hi, just a quick summary of our stay at 445 Fairway Drive. We enjoyed to get to together with the Family. The house is large with 5 bedrooms what we needed for our family outing. Some of the interior needs some refreshing and maintenance, including the backyard. The putting green needs major work, so the landscape.
