New 2018 Pool Home in Venice
About this house rental
Located in South Venice, this charming house for $211 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Our 3 bedroom home is located in Venice Florida. . We provide 2 kayaks and 5 bicycles for your use. There is a nearby cycling path which stretches through Venice and up to Sarasota. This home is suitable for couples or families looking for a quiet vacation . Nearby beaches are perfect for shell collecting and searching for sharks teeth. Our home is set up with master bedroom and bath on one side and 2 bedrooms and main bath on the other. Full laundry in a separate mudroom and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. Kitchen is well equipped, we provide linen and towels for house and beach use. Large sliding glass doors open the living area to the enclosed Lanai and the master bedroom. Yard is fully fenced for privacy (new rear hedge in 2023 isn't mature, rear yard is partial open to neighbor) and the pool is heated. Manasota beach is 10 min south and Caspersen beach 15 min. north. Both offer parking and restroom facilities. There is a beach at the end of South Venice blvd but due to recent policy changes it can only be accessed by kayak/boat across the inter coastal waterway. Sadly we have had to install a security system covering the front porch.

This house was absolutely perfect! The owner had every detail covered from beach towels, chairs and umbrellas to shampoo and sunscreen. The house was immaculate and the pool was beautiful. Host was very responsive. Highly recommend!

It had everything we needed other than a high chair. They had little toys, pool toys, beach equipment, bathroom products, kitchen products. Just literally everything you needed. Everything was clean and newer. Communication was great with the host. Loved having the baby gate around the pool for our littles.
Can’t wait for our next stay here. This house made it feel like it was our home.

Great property in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to beaches, restaurants and shopping.
Villa was really well stocked with essentials, beach equipment, bikes and so much more.
Hosts were easy to communicate with and would certainly recommend.

What a fantastic house this was! The owners are very kind and thoughtful with their little touches around the house. For example, there was an extension cord on a small hook next to the bed in the master room for anyone wanting to charge their phones etc. They had everything we could’ve possibly needed for the week (beach toys for the kids, bikes, coolers, chairs etc.) BUT was most noticeable and appreciated was the level of cleanliness. As soon as we walked in it smelled freshly cleaned and you could see everything sparkle. It was also very thoughtful of the owners to provide toilet paper, paper towels, detergent etc.
We are already planning our next trip back to Venice and hope to stay at this property very soon.

The house was wonderful! We loved the master bedroom mattress. It was so comfortable. The house had lots of beach stuff to use, lots of beach towels and towels to shower with. Our daughter loved having the pool to relax in. The house was close to many of our favorite shark teeth hunting beaches. We had a very relaxing vacation! We will definitely rent this amazing house again!

This is a great vacation rental. The house had all the amenities, including a nice lanai area with pool, dining and lounge area. It was nice having the grill and open kitchen area.

Absolutely Amazing
Everything was perfect! The house was absolutely gorgeous, the pool temperature was perfect, the house was well stocked with towels, cleaning supplies, and everything you could need in the kitchen (minus food 😀)! There was lots of stuff beach stuff for us to use and bikes for all of us to ride. The host were absolutely wonderful! The beaches were all clean and beautiful, plus we found LOTS of shells and shark teeth! The location was perfect just short driving distance to everything, restaurants, Walmart, the beaches. I also recommend checking out Keys Huka dive in Nokomis and John's Pass in Madeira Beach there is so much too do there and is only about 45 minutes away. Thank you for helping to make our first family vacation perfect! ❤️

This house was so beautifully decorated. It was an extremely comfortable house. The pool area was very well furnished to be able to spend the day/night outside. Super close to the beach and the neighborhood was super peaceful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Great great place and service.

Felt like it could have been our own home. The only problem we had with the home was the dryer took a long time to dry. We had to run it multiple times to get things dry. That made it hard with how many towels we were using between the beaches, pool, and showering.

A Gem in South Venice
We have stayed in many homes in the area over the past 10 yrs and this one has been the best. First off, let me tell you that the master bedroom mattress provided the best nights sleep ever, we are buying one for our home!! The house is extremely clean and organized. This rental has everything you need to spend the day at the beach and provides everything you need to cook meals. Thank you Doug and Patti for sharing your beautiful home with us in paradise. We will be back!

We stayed at this property while we were cleaning out an estate in Englewood and I can't tell you how nice it was to come back to this inviting home. We had all the comforts of home in a beautifully decorated home. Our girls loved the pool. We saw dolphins when we went to Pops for lunch one day. I highly recommend this property. We enjoyed this home. The neighborhood is in transition from original homes to more updated / new homes. We appreciated communicating with the property owner directly vs. thru VRBO. Owners were very accommodating and quick to reply. Great having access to ferry boat to private beach where shark toorh hunting was fun.

We stayed here for several weeks to quarantine before safely visiting family during the pandemic. It was the perfect place to be for our purposes. Well-stocked with everything from dishwasher soap to paper towels and spices, we felt very much at home. The pool was spotless, the house itself was also quite clean and new. The host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Feels like home.
This was our best vacation ever! The home was very clean and accommodating. My youngest wanted to stay there and enjoy the home and pool more but we had things to do every day. One of our favorite things to do was to take the provided beach chairs and umbrella to Nokomis beach and spend several hours experiencing the beach life. The South Venice Beach accessed by the ferry pass was nothing short of breathtaking!! The location of this house was perfect and left us dreaming of making South Venice our home! Derek and Patti have been blessed with quite a gem! We are so grateful they have provided a comfortable place to relax and make memories with family. Snook Haven was by far the best eats we had all week! Super friendly and we even got to see a baby alligator in the wild! Some must visit again places : South Jetty, Sharky’s on the Pier, Maxine Barritt Park, Mad Dog Hotdog, and last but definitely not least, Shamrock Park for an evening walk and wild animal viewing. We plan to visit this home away from home again!

Much needed change of scenery
the whole experience with this property went superbly. The house is new (2018 ) and so everything was bright and shiny. The owners responded quickly to questions. The pool was wonderful and we were very comfy there. We will return someday.

Incredible stay
Our family has travelled all over the world and stayed in many online vacation rentals. This was one of our favorites. The house is new and very well constructed. It is impeccably maintained. The efficiency of space was on point! The pool was great and the smaller size was perfect for our small children. The kids swam all day long when we weren't at the beach and the adults enjoyed the nice patio furniture. We didn't use the pool fence but it was nice to know it was there. All of the linens were high quality. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchen supplies/appliances and tools. We loved taking walks and bike rides in the neighborhood. The highlight of our stay here was taking the ferry to the beach. You feel like you have a private beach all to yourself! It's amazing! I am a Florida native and it's as close to untouched as you are going to get! And a great outdoor shower at the house when you get back! I cannot say enough nice things about our stay. We cannot wait to come back and stay in S. Venice!

This property fit our needs perfectly. My Lady cousins and I enjoyed this home in a quiet neighborhood in Venice, Florida. The home was immaculate with new furnishings. The passes to the private beach was a nice feature. Families would enjoy the bicycles, kayaks, and games provided. Book early this home is a gem.
