About this cottage rental
Nestled in Ocean Springs, this charming cottage for $240 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. While the cottage 🏡 has welcomed all guests, it has a particular appeal for couples who come here to celebrate life events, like anniversaries, birthdays, get away and even an engagement. There have been some great sister as well as girlfriend vacations created here too. It has become a respite for people needing to recharge while disconnecting from a demanding world. The cottage is well suited for 2 adults and a 3rd adult is permitted but requires a 3 day stay. max. I cannot accept children due to the spiral staircase. The cottage was created to be intimate, tastefully decorated cottage style comfortable, not fussy, with denim slipcovered furniture. Upstairs in the sleeping loft is a king size bed with a deep memory foam mattress, that guests love. The kitchen is fully stocked with a full size refrigerator, cookware, gas stove and microwave. There's wifi, a large movie library and a 49inch smart tv. You will have access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney, ESPN, local channels, and hundreds of others through streaming. Please do not use your sign in for these channels, just use mine. Many of my guests like to travel with their dog (me too!) and I make sure the dogs have a good stay providing them with bowls, towels, a blanket, toys and a fenced in yard. I would like to know if you are planning on bringing your pet in your inquiry, as well as the size and number. The pet fees, usually $50 depending on the size and number are donated to a local shelter or Gulf Coast rescue groups. 🐶 Guests often comment, 'This is even nicer than the pictures and love the unexpected like a seasonal herb garden, ample parking, and of course the close proximity to downtown. I keep folding beach chairs, so no need to bring them. I am less than a mile to the beach. This is the place to stay to give yourself permission to be as active or lazy as you wish. 😁 The cottage is located on a lovely street in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It is not used for a party house or large events. The minimum age for renting is 25. One more thing about the cottage to know is, it is a strictly non smoking rental anywhere on the grounds. Also, no candles please. Ocean Springs is a multi award winning small city known for its friendliness, art, and unique restaurants, shopping and music. Ocean Springs has become a nice little artist community, with good restaurants, galleries & shops, fishing opportunities and interesting sights. Camellia Cottage was quiet, tucked away, clean & comfortable, with a wonderful host. Only caveat is the spiral stair which might be an issue for the mobility impaired. We look forward to returning to this relaxed hideaway, perfect also for a pet.

We stayed in this cozy little cottage while visiting the area for crusin’ the coast 2023. It was located close to the main hub of activity but located in a private, quiet area. Jeannie is amazing to work with. She is very responsive to your needs and is super friendly. She provided us with amazing directions that made it super easy for us to locate the cottage without any mishaps because of the GPS. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying in this cute cottage again if we are in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. Perfect for us and our four legged baby! The stairs are definitely not for children or elderly! It was just perfect for us. My wife and I found this beautiful cottage through a random search for Biloxi cabins, and we're glad we did. We just celebrated our 25th anniversary, and this was the perfect place to stay. We'll always remember the trip. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, full bathroom, quaint spiral staircase up to the bedroom, and so much more. The Camelia Cottage was located within easy driving distance of New Orleans, Gulf Shores and Ship Island. Thank you so much for helping us build beautiful memories!

My wife and I loved every minute of our time at Camellia Cottage in Ocean Springs. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, had beautiful live oaks, and was close to all the downtown attractions of Ocean Springs and the beautiful Biloxi coast. Jeannie was a gracious hostess and offered wonderful advice on places to eat and shop, and things to do during our stay for Cruisin' the Coast. We would love to stay with her on our next trip.

We had to evaluate because of Ida and stumbled on this little gem in Ocean Springs. It truly became our home away from home. It's a great place to relax and check out the Ocean Springs area. Plenty of fun to be had and the owner is awesome!

I absolutely loved Jeannie’s beautiful cottage in the serene and tranquil Ocean Springs. As soon as you drive through the driveway, you can feel that the place was created with love. The place is so cute and quaint and oh my, the bed is sooo comfortable! Thank you Jeannie for all the care and intention you placed into this magical space !

A few points to note but they are for info only. It was still a nice stay. It doesn’t have central AC but units keep it cool though can be a bit loud. And, you will need to cross a busy road or drive to reach the shopping/dining area of Ocean Springs.
