Pauline was extremely helpful and responsive. We hired Sergio’s mom for a few meals and it was amazing homemade food at a very reasonable price. House was great, clean and easily accessible and in a very safe community.

We just rented this beautiful house for a family reunion. We had a wonderful stay. First, the house is very clean. You can walk barefoot and never feel any sand or dirt. Maria, the housekeeping lady, is doing a fantastic job. In addition, the photos and description of the house are very accurate. You truly get what is advertised. Pauline, the hostess, is truly honest and the value of the house matches the price that is asked. She is also a very nice lady. She was happy to answer all our questions ahead of and during our stay. The house is truly beautiful. From the ground floor to the beautiful terrace on the 4th floor, everything is fantastic, well furnished, greatly decorated and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and everything is so quiet that we slept extremely well. Sergio, the hostess helper on site, was always available to answer our questions. He is a really sweet and reliable gentleman. His presence greatly added to the value of our stay. The house is located in Playacar phase one, which is a gated community filled with beautiful houses. A precious beach is just down the street. We are feeling safe everywhere. Guardians are constantly making rounds to make sure the neighbourhood stays safe. As well, the 5th avenue filled with restaurants, stores and attractions is at walking distance. Playacar is a great place to stay. Finally, the house has two full kitchens with recent appliances. We cooked almost all our meals because we are a bit picky on food quality so we were happy with the appliances and kitchen accessories. If you prefer to order or to go to restaurants, there are many options available until late at night. The house has also a very efficient and clean kit of washer and dryer so you can clean your clothes if you wish. We were delighted by this property. We highly recommend it if you visit Playa del Carmen.

Perfect location - 24/7 security neighborhood, steps from the beach, short stroll to 5th Ave, plenty of taxis nearby. Great house - 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 4 comfortable bedrooms. Great host - very responsive, arranged for doctor to come to the house to give covid tests for the trip home. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Pauline and Sergio!!

If you are expecting just make sure to confirm if you are able to participate in the activities before you pay! Overall a good stay. Hopefully next time the seaweed is not an issue so we can have more relaxing days on the beach.

This was a great place for 6 of my friends and I to get away to. Pauline was very informative and we had no trouble communicating with her. Raul runs the property and was also very helpful. The only issues we encountered was construction directly behind the home however we were compensated for this disruption. I would suggest a car as the walk outside of the community may be a bit far for some. Other than that we will be back !!

Access to the highway by car in less than 5 minutes and 7 minutes from the grocery store. Really a great location. The house was really well maintained. Three story house with a bunch of gathering space. We were a party of 8 and we were very comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms at the top and bottom floors are the most comfortable. Not that we used it much, the WiFi works well as the modem is located on the middle floor. There is an extra charge if you want air conditioning. Even though we were there during a cold front, we opted for air conditioning. Glad we did, the indoor air quality is a little musky. The owner of the house kept in touch all time, wonderful Lady. The property was nice and clean. Would suggest a few additions: dishwasher, cooking oil, bathroom bar soap. it would be nice to have a directory of local establishments and recommendations. Here are a few: trattoria del centro, Il fogon, OH la la.....

Lovely house great location. Short walk to the beach. Little longer walk to restaurants and stores but doable. Sergio was awesome. He help us set up a couple tours and was always available to help us out. Highly recommend.

My Family and I Loved this location. Minutes walk from the beach and market place on 5th Ave. The Villa had everything we needed. Very Clean. Sergio and his Mother were great. We had Sergio's mother prepare our meal on the day of arrival, an it was exactly what we wanted, we also had leftovers for 3 day which was a plus. Great location for us! Sorry we didn't have time to stay longer than the week we were there!

We loved the house and pool!! Sergio was so kind and accommodating. The only issue was the algae bloom had impacted this beach so we were unable to enjoy the ocean. It would have been nice to have known in advance before we went to the market and bought lots of groceries ... and before booking 3 different sets of family members to ride in from Cancun airport. We had to cut our time at the house short and rebook in a different area.

Our vacation to Playa was so much better because of this house rental. Thank you Pauline, Sergio and Maria for making our stay so relaxing. Sergio will have you covered on anything you need for the house while visiting and he is great at arranging transportation or tours or making suggestions of places to go. Maria kept the house immaculate and she never disturbed us during her work. You have a beautiful home Pauline. Thank you for sharing it with our family! The only suggestion that I have would be to have a guest book with information on the house, where to put garbage, suggestions of things to do and comments from other guests. The seaweed is an issue in Playa but we knew that going in and it is no fault of the owner. Great vacation!!! Perfect VRBO rental!!

Our family had a lovely stay at Casa Palmas. The home is in the BEST location in Playacar Fase 1, one block from Quinta Avenida in a gated community. The manager Sergio goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Pauline is very responsive and available. Housekeeping comes every other day, needless to say the home is spotless.

We loved staying in this beautiful house, just a short walk from the beach and nearby ruins, and a brief stroll to 5th Avenue. The house is lovely, well-maintained and Sergio checked on us regularly and answered all of our questions. It was helpful for our group to have the 2 kitchens and we enjoyed the outdoor decks and balconies. The large bathrooms are great. Our only issue was wanting to adjust the air conditioning to be slightly warmer, which we couldn't do. Thanks for a great getaway!

This home is actually 2 separate residences, joined by a door leading to the upstairs area, which is sunny, bright and the preferred central gathering place. The downstairs (2bedroom, entry/sitting area, kitchen, laundry and 1 shared bath) is perfect for light sleepers, as it's quite dark and creates a cool, cave-like setting in which to sleep in without disruption from sunlight or noise. Upstairs is flooded with natural light, yet stays relatively cool even without the AC. Our favorite feature was the crow's next patio, complete with seating and a hammock. It's accessed only via the master bedroom, so once our friend was awake, we made our way through his bedroom, up the stairs, to enjoy the soft ocean breeze and the magnificent views. The downstairs kitchen is larger than the main kitchen but we didn't use it because it's just too dark compared to the light and open floor plan of the upstairs. Overall, we were very pleased with the condition of the home, the cleanliness. The bath towels are fluffy, the linen is crisp and clean, the place was spotless. Most of all, Pauline, the homeowner, was great to work with and so accommodating. It's important to note that this is not a DIY rental, this is a professionally managed, luxury home with an experienced property manager and a personal concierge (Richard) who speaks perfect English and is highly responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend this for groups with small children, as the two separate living spaces allow for nice separation. It also allowed us (3 singles, 1 9 year old) to have our own private space when needed. Great house, great stay - will be back!

My ladies and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Palmas. Pauline, Sergio, and Laura were very pleasant and attended to all our needs. We were pleased with the neatness of the house and the friendly services and quick response to questions we had. Sergio (house manager) is available by phone on Whatsapp which was very convenient for us. He helped set up tours, transportation, and catering services. We had such a great time at Casa Palmas right from the start ! It was a beautiful house with lots of room. Sergio took such good care of us and was really responsive to our needs. The walk to 5th Avenue was minimal and there were even ruins to see on the way. Also, Pauline made sure that all of our arrangements were in place before our arrival. We had such an awesome time at Casa Palmas! The house was spacious and clean and exactly as described on the listing. The staff was very efficient. Sergio was always there to answer every question we had, he also set up some tours for us. You must try the paella with Chef Richard, it was delicious. We also liked the option of having the house staked with grocery items we provided. Casa Palmas is close to the beach and 5th Ave. We highly recommend it, Thanks Pauline! PS We Will be Back !!!

We typically stay in resorts in Mexico but decided with our family of 10 to say in a house this time and we are glad we did. The house is literally two short blocks form the beach and a 5 minute walk to Playa del Carmen's restaurants and shops. The house was large enough for all 10 of use 6 adults and 4 small kids, beds were nice, kitchen had every thing we needed to prepare what we ate there. Housekeeping service came three times in the week were were there which was nice. We arranged through Pauline to have dinner cooked for us there the 1st night and it was delicious, definitely arrange for this! Sergio the property manager arrange tours and transportation and another dinner in house for us while we were there. Having a 10 person van cart us from Tulum to the cenotes to Yal ku made for a great day. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality Pauline.

Our stay at Pauline’s house was amazing! Due to a flight change we were not able to book on the day we got to Mexico and had so many issues with our first place, Pauline and Sergio figured it all out for us and got us to their place for our stay the next stay and the differences were insurmountable. Anything we needed Sergio was a message away and all the hired staff were lovely and they come in every few days so we always had clean sheets, bedding and the house generally was always clean.They had a very reliable driving company they use and the house it self was fantastic ! We didn’t have high hopes for the beaches as we heard there was heavy seaweed this time of year but the area we were in was even nicer and more cleaned up even than the resorts beaches ! We loved having separate living areas and all the kitchens, pool area, bathrooms etc were all equipped with everything we could need. We had an amazing stay, thank you so much !
