Nestled in Pell City, this lovely house for $290 per night is a great choice for your next break. The lake house is a rustic lodge type house that is perfect for fishermen and families who want to enjoy Lake Logan Martin. The House has a large screened in porch and pier. The house is located in Lisa's Cove near Stemley Bridge off of Highway 34. It is easy to find by both water and land. The Address is 160 Lisas Cove Talladega Al 35160. For questions or inquiries, contact. !!!!LINENS AND TOWELS NOT FURNISHED!!!! The house has five bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen, fireplace, sunroom and large screened-in porch. The beds consist of two king, one queen, 1 full and one set of bunk beds with a full on the bottom and twin on top plus a trundle bed in the livingroom. Completely furnished with central air-conditioning, dishwasher, stove microwave, coffee pot, cookware, charcoal grill, television with cable, DVD player, and outside stereo. To keep cost down we ask guest to bring Linens and towels. Pontoon boats are available to rent at Poorhouse Mariana. Do not use my neighbors boat ramp or ask them. We do not have a boat ramp. Poorhouse marina is 2 miles from house by road and water. Please keep off of grass after heavy rains with cars and trucks. Please do not park or drive between house and lake. Thank You ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION: 4 night weekday minimum for the months of June and July, Week Minimum for Memorial Day Week and Labor Day Week. If you see that a week you are interested in is available two weeks before the week, please call and we may consider a three night minimum. $300 Deposit will be returned within two weeks if property is not damaged. Talladega Race Week -(Both Weeks are Open this Year) Must rent the entire week. There is a $1000 deposit on race weeks. We've stayed twice and enjoyed it both times . We especially love that there is a dock to fish from and the house can accommodate a large group.

We decided to stay at this property because it would accommodate our large group. Upon arrival it was as described, a rustic cabin. It checked the boxes for our large group but the kitchen is rather small to try and cook for everyone. The screened in porch area is large and was a lifesaver since that is where we spent most of the time there. The dock is simple but functioned well for us hanging out in the lake. If you are trying to accommodate a large group this place will do that but has some quirks. The description of the house is spot on, dont forget to bring the linens as they are not provided. Ron was very tentative to any and all our communications during our stay. Overall it was a good stay!

The property location is convenient and close to grocery stores for supplies and restaurants also. The screened in porch is an amazing feature!! Plenty of beds for even large families there were 7 of us and we slept comfortably. Lots of fish was caught from the pier at night after a day swimming and floating in the quiet slough. The host Ron Jones communicates promptly. My only suggestion would be in addition to your own linens carry your key cooking pots and pans……like everyone and everything else the ones provided have worn out over time. Quick trip to Walmart settled that issue and I have new cookware at home!! Win win for the team. Thank you Ron for a wonderful week on the lake. This was our second trip to the property and probably WILL NOT be our last!!

We didn't see on the listing that sheets and towels were not included; we showed up to a house with disgusting stained mattresses with no sheets. Very dirty upon arrival; floors, dishes, etc, were very lazily cleaned if at all. The layout of the house is very strange and not ideal. Shockingly small square footage for a 5 bedroom house. On the plus side, the screened in porch is very large and very nice for hanging out, very nice backyard and very nice view.

Our kids and grandchildren loved the lake house. When they were not swimming they were fishing or kayaking. I really enjoyed the view from the screened in porch every morning while drinking my coffee. Ron is awesome to communicate with, his response is very quick. Thanks again Ron for making our stay AWESOME!

Stayed for Spring 2022 Talladega race weekend. We had eight of us and more then enough room to spread out. Awesome porch for hanging out and easy access to the pier on the lake. Owner was great to communicate with. Neighbors were super nice to. Will stay again.

Second time staying at this property. It exactly meets my requirements. Location is perfect for my trip. Lots of room but cozy and friendly at the same time. We'll be back in the spring.

Owner clearly tells you it’s a camp and not fussy so we expected that. They also accommodates setting up the line as a favor which was great. Communication was good and we had no issues. It is a camp and I’m not a fussy person, but it could use a deep clean and some updating to the kitchen items, check the light bulbs, etc. I don’t want to leave a negative impression but if you’re crazy about spic and span, this is not going to be your spot. If you’re good with a great view, the lake and not planning on cooking much, have a bunch of people that need beds, good to grill your meals, this checks all the boxes and you’ll be happy.

The property is older than expected, yet charming and for the price, we we're pleased overall. We're originally from St. Clair county and now reside in Tampa Bay, Florida, so the quiet of visiting was nostalgic. The home overall has amenities that will accommodate a large gathering. The pier was a highlight, and being now from a place where its' endless summer, we couldn't resist jumping off the pier and getting some swim time in. It's very deep off the end and I was surprised how good the water felt to be October this far North. The outdoor grill was nice but I did have to clean it of all the ashes which seemed like multiple cooks had taken place. The drive way is a little steep and has some potholes, but it didn't bother us because we drive Trucks and not a Prius. Overall, it was a good stay and I thank the owner. I've read some bad reviews about this property, but these people are probably a little too particular and seem a little self-entitled, so I wouldn't let negative reviews deter your decision to choose this property. The recreation room is screened in and great to hang out, watch TV, play music. The kitchen is very small, so I wouldn't want to cook a festive meal like Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner in it. Other than that, nice place. Thanks again, Ron!

Family stayed there for the weekend to surprise my husband for his birthday. They said they really enjoyed the place. The porch is awesome! No issues with anything. Thanks for letting us use your home on the water!
