Nestled in Grand Cayman, this attractive house for $783 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Savhaven is located in the tranquil area of Savannah which is the middle of Grand Cayman. Savhaven is less than 3 minutes away from Spott’s Beach by car. This beach gives you the best sighting of sea turtles on the island and is excellent for snorkeling. It takes about 30 minutes to reach East End or North Side from Savhaven and 15 minutes to get to the capital George Town and 30 minutes to get to West Bay. The Eastern side of the island offer the Botanic Park, Crystal Caves, East End and Rum Point. The Western side of the island offers the world famous Seven Miles Beach, the Turtle Farm and a multiplicity of other attractions. I can not say enough good things about our stay at Savhaven.
We were greeted by Claude at the house who had a delicious home cooked meal waiting for us. He had the house decorated especially for holidays which was a nice touch. Claude gave us a tour of the house to make sure we knew where everything was and how to work internets, remotes, etc.
The house itself is very well stocked. The kitchen has all the appliances you would need. On top of oven, stove, and microwave there was a toaster oven, a regular toaster, blender, coffee maker, and more. There is sufficient pots and pans, baking dishes, and Tupperware.
The outside area was also very lovely. There is a pool, outdoor kitchen area, seating just as it looks in the pictures. There is a pergola with some shading too. There are beach toys for the kids and snorkels for everyone. Beach chairs and towels were also provided.
Inside the house 3 of the rooms were very spacious. Each of those had their own en-suite. The 4th bedroom fits a queen sized bed and has a closet. It’s a little smaller than the others, but definitely adequate. The bathroom for that one is in the hall. Each bathroom was stocked with toilet paper, body wash, and starter shampoo and conditioners.
Claude was available for anything we needed and responded very quickly. He even came by to check in after a few days to make sure we didn’t need anything.
This property was great and I highly recommend staying here.

We have been coming to Cayman for over 18 years, and have stayed in more than 15 different properties from Cayman Kai to West Bay. We have finally found the perfect spot. The property has all the amenities of a resort and the all the comforts of home. Everything you need is at Savhaven and the location is perfect. Access to Georgetown, West Bay, East End, and Rum Point is easy and convenient. This is a very quiet neighborhood that makes you really feel right at home. One of the better snorkeling sites in our opinion, Spotts Beach, is a short drive away. It's great place to spend the day and really get to see some unique animals under the surface. Having the all the stores within a 1 minute drive increases the time you have to enjoy yourself. Claude and Lorna are delightful people who provide a great setting for us to enjoy. It is also very important to have the owner be from Cayman. You can tell they really want you to enjoy Cayman and their property. For the people who come after us, please take care of this property because we wish to make this the place for us every time we come back to Cayman. I can go on for quite a while, but just know this is the place in Cayman!

Claude & Lorna are exceptional hosts! We arrived on Sunday, when most of the supermarkets and stores are closed on the Island.
They had prepared a lunch for us of delicious jerk chicken, rice, salad and plenty of bottled water. They gave us a tour of the house and provided all the necessities to make us feel at home.
The house was very big, spacious and clean with plenty of linens and towels. The backyard pool with BBQ grill and outdoor speakers were a plus! Claude checked in on us throughout the trip to make sure we had everything we needed.
Conveniently located in the middle of the island, you are never further than 15-30 minutes away from any attraction or beach.

Ok im just going to say it- they should charge more for all that they provide. We have travelled the world and stayed at many homestays. This one made us feel like a hotel guest in a home and that is the ultimate compliment. The hosts provided everything that you need and they were not cheap about it- that's the key. I didnt feel nickle and dimed to provide my own toiletries and what not. They literally provided everything. Thwre is something special about knowing your host wants you to wnjoy your stay and want for nothing. The home is well kept and safe. We loved the outdoor speakers by the pool. This place is a rare gem bc of the hosts, Claude and Lorna. I hope only the best guests visit their home because that's what they deserve.

Wonderful vacation. 8 of us and a 16 month old stayed at Claude’s house the week of August 6th, 2023. The house is fantastic and the pool and outdoor kitchen are a great bonus. The house is in a great location on the island. We went in every direction. You can get about anywhere on the island in less than 30 minutes . Lots of beach chairs and toys at the house.They also have a crib and high chair. Claude even had dinner ready for us the first day! He is a super nice guy. The house is big and as nice as the pictures suggest. I could go on and on. We had a great week that we will never forget.

We were a family of 7 adults . Claude and Lorna were excellent hosts. They left us a delicious spicy chicken dinner with rice and salad . Their house is immaculate and beautiful. It was a perfect location to everything. We were about 18 minutes to 7 mile beach and maybe thirty to Rum point. We were ten minutes from supermarket. It was a perfect vacation and I would recommend this beautiful house to everyone.!

2 couples, each with a young daughter in our group (Ages 4 and 6). Absolutely loved our trip and the house was the perfect home base. Each of the 4 bedrooms essentially has their own full bathroom and we had plenty of space to spread out. The girls especially loved the pool. We are avid VRBO users and the house is as well stocked (with the little items you need) as we have found. The gas grill was extremely well maintained. Claude and Lorna made a wonderful lunch upon arrival. That simple extra touch took away the stress of travel and allowed everyone to decompress and sit at the table together and laugh. It was a wonderful way to start the trip. The house is a short drive to anywhere on the island. We were at 7 Mile Beach 3 times and ventured up to Starfish Beach (Rum Point). The central location was perfect for exploring. Also, there is a nice grocery store (Foster's), a gym, and liquor store (Jacques Scott) right down the street (walking distance or 2 min drive). It's a residential neighborhood so if your expectation is a Four Season's then book at a resort at 7 Mile (and leave this house open for us to book again). We hope to come back.

We had a great stay at Claude and Lorna’s. They gave us a warm welcome with a meal of Jerk Chicken, and were very responsive to all of our needs throughout our stay. The accommodations are perfectly sized for a group of eight, which was two families in our case. Would definitely recommend staying here to experience Grand Cayman.

I am not sure I can do the property justice in a few words. The location is perfect. It is a short trip into Georgetown, close to a grocery store, and assessible to so many beautiful beaches. The outdoor area was great for cooking meals, playing family games and of course relaxing in the pool. Upon our arrival Claude had prepared a delicious dinner of jerk chicken along with a salad. Claude was so gracious and answered any questions we had about the island, making it so easy. Our family enjoyed our visit and were sad to leave. I know you will love it here!

A beautiful, well appointed home with all the necessities needed and beyond in a great central location. Claude and Lorna will make you feel like family during your stay. The home is conveniently located within mins to a grocery store, restaurants, liquor store and gas station with a short drive to Seven Mile beach as well as the east and north end of the island. The home is clean and comfortable with plenty of space for the family. We enjoyed the outdoor area with a beautiful pool and bbq each day. We stay at VRBO’s 4-5 times a year and this is by far one of the best for many reasons, some being fully stocked condiments, spices, and teas, huge laundry room, plenty of towels and lots of pool toys. Fantastic location and extremely well equipped home! Perfect for our group of six adults and one toddler. A crib, high chair, and stroller made the stay so easy. The beds were very comfortable. Internet was excellent. Claude and Lorna are so sweet and greeted us on arrival with a delicious jerk chicken dinner. They go above and beyond to make you feel it’s your home. We loved the location and found it perfect as a base to see the island. The pool was simply lovely with many nice chairs, beautiful outdoor kitchen, pool toys, and outdoor speakers for streaming music . All our needs were met! We can’t wait to go again!

I can’t tell you how amazing staying here was. Claude answered all my questions welcomed us with an amazing meal that our family so needed and was a Joy just to talk too. I recommend staying on this part of the island if you want quiet and the most amazing beach on the island. Spotts beach hands down was the best part of this trip and we spent many days there. Our kids are huge snorkelers and we spot octopuses, turtles, and many cool fish I can tell you Savhanven didn’t disappoint. The pool and outdoor cooking were top notch. Thanks Claude we will be back.

We had a group of guys who needed a convenient place to stay while visiting a local friend. The house was perfect. Nearby our friend, walking distance to the grocery store and shopping area, and still only 20 minutes or so from downtown. The living room area was super comfortable with nice furniture and big screen TV. The pool area looked great as well - though we didn't use it. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, and silverware. Claude checked in on us the first day to make sure everything was good - and even left us a great meal of Jerk Chicken. We had no issues with the house during the stay.

My family of adult women just returned from an amazing week at Savhaven! Claude and Lorna are one of the best hosts that we have had the pleasure of renting from. They are extremely attentive and are always available for questions and helpful tips to make your vacation enjoyable. The property is exactly as listed and the pool is great. We were in it every single day. The pool temp is perfect. The lunch at check-in was exactly what we needed. The home is centrally located and has everything you need. It is absolutely one of our top 3 vacations and that is due in large part to the comfort and amenities of this home. We are already looking for dates for our next stay at Savhaven. Our family just stayed at this property on August 6. We had 6 adults with us and the house had plenty of space for all of us. The house was the most well-stocked home we ever stayed at and was extremely clean when we arrived. The pictures do not do it justice.
We used the outdoor kitchen several times for evening meals while relaxing by the pool. Plenty of outdoor furniture for our group to use and it even had 2 hammocks to relax on at the end of the day.
We've been to Cayman several times over the years but never stayed in Savannah and we loved the location. Central to 7 mile beach and Rum Point. We did see turtles at Spott's Beach close by the house.
Great vacation for the family and we hope to stay there again on our next trip to the Island.

Claude and Lorna were amazing hosts! The brunch provided was perfect after a day of travel. The kids loved the snorkeling equipment that was on hand and the pool was a great break from our days at the beach. Claude and Lorna were very attentive when the electricity went out and came over to check on us which was super sweet. Definitely loved this rental And is great for two families of four!

I chose this property for my family of 8 for two reasons: first it was spacious enough for adults and children with a pool and secondly, it was in close proximity to our family’s home who have lived on Cayman for 38 years. It was a perfect choice for a fun-filled week of celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
The kids were in the pool first thing every morning and last thing every night. The house is well designed for adult privacy, yet had large gathering areas for meals and games. We loved the ability to walk to the grocery store, pharmacy, and near-by restaurants. The home was well stocked with towels, kitchen supplies, pool toys, beach chairs and coolers. The evening ambiance of the pool deck was delightful. Best of all was our gracious host, Claude Bailey, who greeted us upon our arrival with a wonderfully prepared hot meal.
My adult children and grandchildren had an experience of a life time and many happy family memories were made. I highly recommend this home away from home!

Four beautiful bedrooms, a large kitchen with a guest room and a dining room. And the clean pool made the most joy for the children. Lorna and Cloude are wonderful and always smiling people. Pictures do not do the house justice
We were blown away by how awesome the house actually is in real life. The pictures on the listing didn’t accurately reflect how amazing Claude and Lorna’s space really is!
You will definitely need a rental car (driving on the left isn’t nearly as terrifying as we feared!)
Claude was so gracious and welcoming, with a meal (jerk chicken and beef, AND salad) upon arrival.
Claude was quick to fix any problems you might encounter. (AC issue, and dryer not drying). He was so hospitable! He provides plenty of chairs for the beach, some snorkeling gear, plenty beach towels, and we left a beach umbrella there for the next guests (donated to us from an incredibly beautiful and kind caymanian we met in a parking lot!)
Spotts beach is a 2 minute drive, there are trees there for shade- its a great snorkeling spot.
For swimming/lounging in the clear water, 7 mile beach is 15-20 min drive and there is free parking along the road.
