This lovely home combines an authentic wine country setting with the convenience of being a short distance from the charming town of Healdsburg, the ‘heart’ of Sonoma County Wine Country, and is centrally located near the Russian River, Alexander, and Dry Creek Valley wine trails. Enjoy the expansive vineyard vistas and beautiful sunsets from the serene, arbor-covered patio. Have a relaxing dinner outside, grill on the built-in BBQ and unwind in the 6-person heated Calderon Hydrotherapy Spa. Take a walk through the olive groves and over the quaint bridge to see the Old Vine Zinfandel vineyard – Quivera Winery in Healdsburg produces special Zinfandel from this vineyard, often, a single designated “Katz Vineyard” Zin! Cecilia’s Vineyard Villa is a contemporary 3000 square foot home with an open floor plan for the kitchen dining and living area enhanced by a cathedral ceiling and an abundance of natural light. The house is two-story and there are 4 bedrooms (1 Cal King, 3 Queen beds and a sofa sleeper, and 3 full bathrooms (2 are ensuite), and a powder room. 1 bedroom is on the ground floor and the other three are on the second floor. The home accommodates up to 8 adults (not recommended for children under 10 and no pets). The well-equipped kitchen features a Jade 6 burner gas range/oven, essential cooking tools, dishwasher, built-in refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker, cookware, several sets of dishes, including a set for outdoor dining. Looking onto the three-acre vineyard and olive grove, this lovely property also has a tree-lined seasonal creek and several outdoor areas for relaxing. In addition to the living room and a sitting room with a gas fireplace, the home has a cozy TV room with a smart TV providing access to many channels through DirecTV. Additionally, the TV room is furnished with a large sofa and a leather ottoman with tops which can be reversed to create a coffee table. The library is filled with books and guides to the wine country as well as wine newsletters and books for recreational reading. The owners provide Wi-Fi and local,landline telephone service. With French Doors that open to private deck, the first upstairs bedroom has California king bed, a 46" smart TV with high definition DirecTV, an armoire, a chair, a skylight and a decorative fireplace with ceramic log candelabra. A downstairs suite features a queen bed, a sofa bed, TV, desk, and an en suite bathroom. Two additional upstairs bedrooms have queen size beds, with one also having an e suite bathroom In addition to the opportunity to discover and enjoy 100’s of outstanding wineries and the many wine related activities, Healdsburg is truly a special destination, featuring award winning restaurants, casual family dining, art and antique galleries, a wide variety of inviting shops, centered around the park and plaza. The home was very nice and accommodated our group wonderfully. We had one small complaint right at the beginning and the property management company took care of it immediately and the rest of our trip was perfect! I would return to this property without hesitation. Very private and beautiful!

The house was fairly old. We couldn’t get one TV to work at all. The fridge froze up on us and ruined lettuce and other produce we had for salad, along with refrigerated snacks. The lights over the dining room table would flicker on and off after they were on for a period of time. The setting is pretty remote but beautiful, located next to a large vineyard. The rental company was responsive and had someone fix the lights, refrigerator and TVs except the one mentioned. The thermostats were on some type of settings which made it difficult to control the temperature.

Girls Getaway
Property was as described in the listing, and worked out great for a college reunion with eight women. Property is a few minutes out of town (which provides for solitude). Upper bathroom was not cleaned as much as the rest of the home, and missing some kitchen staples, (like butter), but other than that, we would recommend and stay again. Referenced new beds were very comfortable.

We were here for the Santa Rosa Ironman.
This was a perfect spot for entertaining and cooking. Great Layout. We stocked and appointed kitchen. Excellent location.

This house has a great, private location, well equipped kitchen and nice patio/yard. I wouldn't call it a luxury home, needs some up dating and the "media room" is really over hyped. It is simply a room with a sofa and large TV.

We stayed at this property in February 2019 with three other couples (eight of us total). We loved the location, the large kitchen table and gathering area and the hot tub. And we had a great weekend with our friends. However, we had a lot of issues, especially for $1000 / night. There were dead ants in the bathrooms that should have easily been cleaned up, we saw a mouse in the kitchen the first night (the property owner sent someone out the next morning to deal with it), the water in the shower at the end of the hall upstairs (shared by two couples) wouldn't give them hot water and when it was all said and done I had to ask and ask and ask for my deposit to be returned. It was pretty frustrating. Also, I was not notified about the location of the key until the day we traveled, in an email - which I didn't get because we were traveling. So when we arrived at the pitch black house in the pouring rain we were locked out. Calls to the numbers we were given went to voicemail. Eventually I found the email but it was not a great welcome, as others have mentioned. Some of the beds need replacing as well. And the wine fridge - well, the wine fridge should work in wine country. Anyway, we love this area of wine country very much and the grounds of this house are stunning, but the place could really use a bit of TLC and a better system of communication.

On arrival after dark we were greeted with pitch blackness. The agent had asked us to call 30 minutes out, so I assumed they were meeting us. No, that was just to tell us where the key was. The location is quiet, about a mile off the road down narrow windy unlit roads (expect rises and a few potholes on your way in). Normally I am fine without being met -- if someone had made the property ready for a nighttime arrival. No driveway lighting, zero parking area lighting, lights for hidden step barely illuminated (a flicker at times) and one dim bulb near kitchen door. No cell service and no working wifi. I called and they did get the wifi fixed the next day -- and they took the "house manual" away at the same time! This is wine country, and the wine glasses were so hard water stained it was awful. I couldn't believe at $1,000 a night there couldn't be decent wineglasses. The fireplace downstairs - did not work. I opened the remote -- no batteries. En suite shower upstairs drains so slowly you are standing in 2" of water on a very slippery floor. Furniture average quality - and lots of kitschy signs about wine and men. I stay at comparably priced VRBO's in the area every other month or so. You can do far better for the price. It was clean, the location is good, but gate to property wide open the entire time (also apparently broken). This could be a nice place, if anyone was paying attention. Oh, but one of our group had gone out for a walk at check out time and they called within 10 minutes to ask why we were not out yet -- so they pay attention at times. I disregarded the previous review about the guest that broke an arm, thinking that is not the property's fault. Now that I have experienced it I am amazed no one tripped and fell in the dark. We stayed for 5 nights. I sent the management people an email following our stay and I was disappointed that no one responded. I fear they also did not give the information to the owners. My husband and I have a property on VRBO and I know the difference between constructive information and folks that are just ridiculous. As owners we would want to know. So this is the abridged version of the email I sent because this space is limited.
The house and the grounds are wonderful. We enjoyed the time there immensely. We would come back but for the beds. They are awful. They are old and lumpy. (go to Costco) In a vacation home of this caliber there should be at least 2 or 3 king beds, not queen beds, and they should be much better than these. Along the same lines, the bathroom towels are shot. In the kitchen, there should have been at least a dozen towels, not 4 old and beat up cotton towels. At $1000 per night, these things are key. The wine refrigerator did not work, and by the end of our stay the regular refrigerator wasn't operating properly – it froze our vegetables. The 3-car garage was full of “stuff” so there was no way we could use the garage which was fine, but then don't advertise that it's there for guests' use. Finally, the cleaning crew left open food in the refrigerator and in the pantry (crackers, pasta) and crumbs everywhere. I do know that these cleaning crews are never great. We struggle with the same thing with our property. But this is pretty basic - god forbid someone eats something bad. . . . On the trial side there was no olive oil at all and we had one roll of paper towels to last the week - small things can be overlooked but not when the bigger issues need to be addressed.
I truly hope the owners get this message. It's a beautiful place but it definitely needs some love.

Great location a short drive into Healdsburg through lovely countryside. The house was very clean and well stocked with cooking ware, books, etc. Needed to call the property mgmt company about a broken blender and they had a new blender out that day. Only downside was that two bedrooms shared a bath which required you to walk down a hall to the bathroom. Overall a very pleasant home in a great location.

My family and I enjoyed a lovely weekend here. The house is spacious and easily accommodates up to 10 guests. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the bathrooms are fit for a queen! The vineyards and other views are beautiful. Bring mosquito repellant if you plan to take your aperitif on the patio (which I recommend). The only downside for us was the cost--too high to make it a regular destination for our family. The only thing missing--a swimming pool. Otherwise, it was perfect!

We rented this house for a group of 4 couples and two small babies for a friends' getaway weekend. The pictures really don't do this place justice! The home was incredibly spacious, and even with so many people in the house, no one felt crowded and everyone had space to spread out. We made use of the grill, hot tub, and outdoor deck—you'll love sitting out there with a glass of wine, looking at the vineyard just across the bridge and the olive grove below. The kitchen is extremely well stocked (all of us had experiences at other rental houses in which kitchens lacked basic supplies...not this one! Everything you could want was there), the house clean and well maintained. Everyone loved it so much, we decided we'll come back next year, for sure!

Perfect Thanksgiving
My adult family spent a magical Thanksgiving week at Cecelia's. This idyllic property is located down a private gated lane, among olive trees and vineyards. The large villa is spotless, with every imaginable amenity from a well equipped kitchen to comfortable beds with good quality linens to individual bath soaps and shampoos. It is sufficiently large to allow each guest to have his own space whether it is on the veranda , in the media room or in the library area which is full of books about the vineyards and restaurants.
There is also a hot tub and full outdoor kitchen conveniently located within steps of the back door, perfect for outdoor grilling.
Located off Healdsburg Avenue, the house is a mere five minutes from Big John's Market, a gourmet grocery essential for picking up last minute items or a sandwich for a picnic.
The entire booking process was easy and quick: the property manager is a delight, most helpful and quick to respond to our needs.
In summary, we will definitely return to this very special place.

This house is as beautiful in person as photos show. The booking process, property management company and check in / out process was smooth & easy. The house is well stocked as described & so comfortable. Views are gorgeous. Location is convenient to everything & it's so quiet.

Four Couples Week
This place exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't quite do the place justice. The setting is wonderful in the vineyards at the end of a rural road. The kitchen is roomy and well stocked. We ate, drank wine and watched the sunset from the deck most nights. We planned on eating out more but the back deck was too inviting. Healdsburg is close. There are many wineries nearby. Our group consisted of four couples and there was plenty of room for all of us. A very nice place to spend some time.

Girls Weekend
The home was absolutely beautiful! This was such a relaxing, gorgeous area. It was very close to downtown, but you would need a car to get around. The home was clean as well and had space for all of us. There were a few things that didn't quite work (grill, internet), but all of us had a great time cooking, eating outside, and relaxing while taking in the beautiful scenery.
