Located in Blue River, this charming house for $684 per night is a great option for your next break. The Haus on the Blue is located in Blue River, Colorado and is 4 miles south of Breckenridge, which is a short 7 minute drive away. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and can accommodate up to 6 people very comfortably. The home is in a quiet neighborhood on a quiet street on just under an acre of land. The highlight of the home is the relaxing view and sound of water off of the back deck as it sits on the Blue River and has a view of a mountain ridge. In the back yard you can either fly fish for 12-18" trout, snowshoe, or just relax in the private hot tub. There are stairs to the river and fire pit which is seasonal due to several feet of snow in the winter. The property backs up to National Forest land so always be on the lookout for moose, black bear, deer, and various birds. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning watching the sunrise over the mountains or a glass of wine at night under the incredible stars in the heated outdoor deck sitting area May-Oct. When it's cold outside, enjoy the indoors next to a cozy wood-burning fire. At 1,180 sq ft, it's definitely a smaller home, but the setting on the river and view from the deck and hot tub make up for its size. The main floor includes a kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom with queen bed and laundry, and bathroom. The upstairs includes a master bedroom with king bed and balcony, another bedroom with two twin beds and balcony, and a separate bath. The kitchen is well supplied including both Keurig and drip coffee makers, crockpot, K-cups, seasonings, olive oil, condiments, paper towels, etc. The bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and hair dryers. The home has high speed Xfinity wifi and cable, a 4K flatscreen with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, flatscreen in master bedroom, and oversized Samsung washer and dryer. The home's location is minutes from Breckenridge, incredible hikes, 21 miles to Keystone, 24 miles to Copper, 43 miles to Vail, and 52 miles to Arkansas River rafting. Breckenridge elevation is 9,600 and Blue River elevation is 10,037 so be mindful of the elevation when booking. Blue River Short Term Rental License #: LR16-000074

Such a great location. You feel like you have the mountain to yourself. The cabin is equipped with absolutely everything you'll need. Campfire by the river, hot tub on cool nights, cozy living room with a fire going... just a great vacation in the mountains.

Property is super cool! We couldn’t believe how well stocked the kitchen was. It had everything! Everyone (4 Guys in their 50’s) loved the house.
We were there for 4 nights, kept the fire burning and just hung out. Cooked dinner every night. Never went out after skiing all day. Great hosts too. Love it! Beautiful back yard views too.

Everything we needed was provided, so helpful when you are traveling! I will and can’t wait to to go back!!

I recently stayed with my parents and my husband at this beautiful home. It had everything we could possibly need. Waking up every morning to the view of the mountains and river was absolutely breathtaking. The owners were so accommodating and responsive, a big thank you to them. Peaceful, Relaxing, Scenic. Just so beautiful. Perfect size for us. No need to pack shampoo or hairdryers. I have stayed at other VRBO properties and this is like no other. VERY clean. Went to Breckenridge for a girls' weekend. This was one of the best VRBO properties I've ever experienced. Super clean. Incredibly well stocked with everything we could have needed. Such an awesome location... less than a 10-minute drive into Breck, but it felt like we were away from everything and truly in the mountains. Absolutely gorgeous surroundings. The hot tub was so private and had the most incredible views. The wood-burning fireplace was perfect... we used it every night. Incredibly comfy beds and bedding. I can't say enough positive things about this VRBO or our experience there. AMAZING!!!

I've stayed in VRBOs for 20+ years and this is the best stocked and layout we've ever experienced. Perfect for our two couples and granddaughter.....with all the amenities one needs. We caught trout in the river, watched birds and wildlife, grilled steaks and enjoyed the fire pit and fire place. My husband was especially happy with the quality of kitchen knives and cookware. We will return!

This was the best laid out cabin for our five. The kitchen supplies & cooking utensils had everything we needed & more.
The beds/comforters were very comfortable. We used the fireplace several times. The only possible problem, would be the smoke smell that permeates the bottom bedroom. (We just cracked open the window).

INCREDIBLE
This property was everything we had hoped for and more. The view from the back porch was enough to get me to try to convince my husband to move there! Haha! The property owners really thought of everything that we needed and were very prompt to respond to any questions I had. We really enjoyed the house, the property and the hot tub with that amazing view. Our kids played for hours out front in the snow. We also loved that it was just a short 12 minute drive to the base of the mountain to ski. It gave us the feel of staying in the mountains while also having the town of Breckenridge easily accessible. We had so many questions from friends about this property from pictures that we shared. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the lifetime memories!
