Over the decades, families and generations, of all ages have come to love this idyllic spot with its sheltered warm, shallow waters, and so many aquatic and recreational activities. Gather the kids, grandparents, and friends and join us for a fun filled, relaxing vacation that will linger in your memories for years. Enjoy the views of the Bay and the Gulf and San Juan Islands, from our living room and front deck. The rear 'garden deck' is outdoor living at its best! Start the morning with coffee, the morning paper or breakfast. As the sun rises from the east, flowers, trees, and the greenery of the garden setting, come to light. At midday, lunch or snack with the sun overhead. Later, at happy hour, visit with friends, and family, and enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine before dinner or a BBQ. After dinner enjoy dessert, coffee, conversation, and the sunset as the sun slowly fades behind the mountains of Vancouver Island. An end to a perfect day! And, as our guests report, a perfect vacation! This view unit occupies mid and top levels at the Jacob's Landing Complex. Architecturally designed, and spacious with nearly 1,000 square feet, it features high vaulted ceilings, with floor to ceiling windows and is decorated in a Mediterranean theme. Living room, kitchen, dining area, bathroom, washer/dryer, and bedroom plus front and rear decks, complete the layout on the main level. A second bedroom, adjacent bathroom with shower, and private sleeping loft complete the top level. Meals prepared in Irene's fully equipped kitchen are guaranteed to satisfy the heartiest and most demanding appetites and extend the family budget as well. The large island bar facilitates food preparation and provides seating for four. An adjacent bar height dining table seats four. The pantry is stocked with staples; flour, sugar, tea, coffee, canola and olive oil, and a wide assortment of spices. Bon Apetit! Our guests love the heated Olympic swimming pool, summer and winter alike. The racquet ball court and game room for ping pong and foosball, and the two tennis courts, add to their enjoyment. Our guests walk or bike from the front door to a scenic path following the perimeter of the bay. Golfers will discover two championship courses, within 5 minutes of the condo. And those seeking strenuous walking will find the trails of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan, one hour to the east. Because of its sheltered location, Birch Bay warm and shallow waters are perfectly safe for all ages. At low tides, children can explore the sand bars, hunting for clams and crabs, or building a sand castle or flying a kite. Birch Bay is also perfect for kayaking and boating, with a convenient boat launching ramp at Birch Bay State Park. And lastly, the area is classified as one of the most important birding areas and bird watching is a popular past- time. Watch for bald eagles. Bed linens, towels, beach towels, and kitchen staples provided. Bring only groceries, and personal items. Our Birch Bay home has all the comforts, conveniences, and amenities of our own home, and we do not expect our guests to accept less. Enjoy! This unit is well equipped with everything you might want or need in a family vacation condo. The proximity to the beach is perfect, even for one with mild mobility issues. Our 3 generation group enjoyed our stay very much. Irene is lovely to deal with, and has a very pleasant telephone manner. Your party won't be disappointed.

We loved our stay here with 3 grandkids. We slept downstairs, and kids had the upper bed and cute mini-room with their own shower upstairs! Jack and Irene had everything in the kitchen we needed, including more than just the sparse typical spices we've encountered elsewhere. And we appreciated having some DVD's suitable for kids. We loved the location. Still have a view, but back far enough to not constantly hear the traffic. The kids want to go again next year.

Our family had a wonderful restful time with a 3 and 1 year old girls. The pool was great for a rainy day which we used twice. We came for the beach access and it was a short walk from the condo which was set back from the road. The beds and room are comfortable for 4 adults. The 2 kids enjoyed the small loft behind the loft bedroom. And we cooked many of our meals and the kitchen is well supply with all you need. I would recommend this property to any family

The condo is very well equipped with everything you need. Beautiful view of the Bay. Fabulous sunsets. One really great thing about Birch Bay is that beach fires are allowed. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs and making S'mores. Lovely family vacation.

We love Birch Bay and come back every year. This was the perfect condo for our family. The little loft was cute and the kids loved it. Everything was clean, well stocked and convenient. We would be happy to book again soon.

This was a beautiful location. Irene was great to work with and so responsive to our every little question. The apt. was immaculate. Just be alert that the third bed is really for little kids - cute, but not what we were expecting. Being so close to the beach was just lovely. Be sure to visit Birch Bay Park up the road! A really lovely area.

This was a great location, and perfect for a short anniversary getaway. We were able to walk to a few restaurants/brewery, and just enjoy a view of the bay right from the living room. We did not use the amenities, but this would be a great spot for family with kids as well. We appreciated the kitchen pantry basics being available, and would definitely recommend!

Beautiful and immaculate 2nd story condo on Birch Bay with great views of the Puget Sound. Kitchen very well stocked (only missing a pancake griddle but there were so many cupboards I could have missed it). One bedroom up a set of stairs is an open loft, but has en suite bathroom with nice walk in shower. There is a darling alcove with a mattress for 1-2 kids in the loft. Downstairs is another bathroom, and a bedroom with a door. All the beds were very comfortable. Neighbors quiet but friendly. There is a clubhouse with pool and jacuzzi. The dining table is one of those new high tables with high chairs, not my personal cup of tea as more difficult to get into, but there are also lower stools along the kitchen island. All in all, a gorgeous place in a gorgeous location.

The location of this condo couldn't have been better. Home was well equipped with with kitchen ware. There was a propane BBQ on site however we didn't use it during out stay. The 'loft' bedroom could have had a more detailed description as it was little more than a closet. Ceiling slopes down so not functional for adults but would be great for children. Pool was very nice and clean, hot tub was out of commission when we were there due to maintenance. Several lightbulbs were burned out but I contacted the owner and she was more than willing to take care of this. Overall it is a very nice space in a great location and we plan on staying again.

We were a party of three adults and had adequate space with one person sleeping on the couch and one in each of the the two bedrooms. The kitchen was well appointed and the view from the unit very was nice. The owner was extremely quick and responsive to one issue we had upon arrival. She resolved it immediately. Would recommend.
