This cute, remodeled cabin is a leisurely walk to downtown shops, the 1880 Train, the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research and Mickelson Trail. This property has been described by guests as private and peaceful as it is set back from the main street. This location is just a short drive to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, wineries, Sheridan, Pactola and Deerfield lakes and much, much more. If relaxing is your plan, the cabin has a porch where you can just put up your feet. The cabin was completely renovated in 2016. The cabin has two bedrooms and each bedroom has a queen size bed. The living room sofa pulls out into a bed. Both bedrooms have an air conditioning unit and a ceiling fan. There are also USB plug-ins for charging your devices. Brand new washer and dryer in 2021. In addition to air conditioning in each bedroom, ceiling fans are located in the living room and both bedrooms. The bedrooms and bathroom both include all necessary linens/towels, hand soap and shower soap. A blow dryer is provided. The smart TV in the living room has a full motion wall mount and Basic cable TV service. The Smart TV located in the South Bedroom also has Basic cable service. This cabin is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay including a washer/dryer and laundry detergent. The kitchen includes a drip coffeemaker, full sized refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, hot water kettle, pots and pans, utensils and kitchen towels. In 1939 the Hill City Rangers received the honor of using Smokey the Bear as their official school mascot after school boys assisted with a forest fire that threatened Hill City.
