A Very Happy Stay with Lanna Thaphae Hotel

2 minutes walk to the Thaphae Gate/ Old Town Night market, Located at very quiet lane and excellent helpful friendly staffs.

Will stay again and recommend.

Very clean rooms for this price range. Beats many four stars and some five star hotels. Bed excellent. Been travelling for a month. Best hotel yet and we stayed at five stars.

Excellent location and if the internet was better I would stay there again.

Breakfast was excellent. Not a big selection but nicely prepared. Could improve on the coffee.

Very nice room but room was very small. Did not have enough space to open two suitcases. Internet was not good at all.

Great location - lovely bijou hotel

The location was very central - the old city to be accessed as well as the night markets. Hotel was lovely and quiet and cleaned regulary. Breakfast had a cooked option for eggs with choice. Bed was comfortable.

Nothing - it was perfect TV - no english speaking channels but so much to do in Chaing Mai so no problem

Great stay

The hotel was very clean and the staff was great!

No complaints. I would only suggest they have an iron or steamer for guests to borrow.

Good for a short stay when you won't be spending a lot of time in your room.

Location was great, very walkable to the west gate and great food options, night lift, new years celebrations. The hotel was very nice looking and the lobby is very inviting.

The rooms are very small compared to the images on the website. My husband and I felt crowded in our room. We were also on the ground floor, right off the lobby, so it could get loud when people were in the lobby talking, and the crappy fence outside our window was really disappointing.

Lovely clean base for exploring Chiang Mai

This hotel is in a great location and I felt totally safe as a solo female traveller. Super clean and felt luxurious compared to standard Thailand accommodation. Great shower pressure and air con! Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment.

WiFi not great. TV had no English channels (fine for me but not for some) My room overlooked a building site and I only had curtains (no net) so when I had curtains open all the workers could see me. A net layer would be better for privacy.

Perfect location & great value for your money.

This was in the ideal place, super clean & had really friendly staff. It was also very quiet at night so with that & the comfy beds we had great nights sleep :))

El personal muy atentos todos. Las chicas son un amor.

El desayuno que muestra en las.fotos no es el que ofrecen. Tuvimos que pedir que se agregara algo así porque era muy poco y no apto para vegetarianos o veganos. Reservamos el hotel por el desayuno y fue una decepción. Café soluble. Pan de molde. Margarina. Poca fruta. Las piezas olían a queso. Un día se corto la luz y estuvimos varias horas sin aire y sin luz. No tenían generador. Las toallas malas. La ducha inconsistente. No es lo que muestran las fotos o lo que ofrecen.

Bedbugs - please avoid the place for now.

The rooms were good size and it looked clean from the outside. Location was good too near the Tha Phae gate.

BEDBUGS! They need to fumigate their furniture to remove bedbugs and they are everywhere. I woke up at 1am to pee and they were walking all over the bed and some on me. My worst nightmare in hotel rooms and I have clean all my luggage and clothes again and hope their eggs are not in my backpack. Not sure how you can check for them as a customer in a hotel room and how the room service people didn't see it.

they moved us to the Lavana hotel, inside the walls of Chiang Mai, which is a superb hotel , when they realized one of our rooms’ A/C wasn’t working. that made our stay with their hotel company a marvelous experience

Was close to Thaphae Gate and near to transport,walking distance to night bazaar and travel offices coffee shops and restaurants.

the building faces construction site and it’s quiet hard to find a hotel. hangers wear broken and some other stuff in toilet were broken too - tiles.

the location is great, near all stores and only 5 mins walk to the Pratu Tha Phae. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.
