Marina Cove Escape hosted by St James Vacation Homes Perfect for families vacationing together or groups with children who need a space to call their own, Marina Cove Escape offers abundant amenities throughout its two levels, each with two bedrooms, bathrooms, and a living area. Adults will love the interior sophistication and well-designed floor plan, and kids will be delighted by the downstairs room with its side-by-side double beds and the colorful stacked innertubes right outside the patio door. Guests of all ages will be welcomed by serene views of Lake Oconee whose waters wrap around the community of Marina Cove and provide unparalleled scenery throughout the entire gated community of Reynolds. The main level is defined by an open-concept plan that facilitates easy traffic flow among the kitchen, dining, and great room, all with hardwood flooring and bathed in natural sunlight filtering in from the covered patio and the slab glass French door at the front (with a keyless entry). The kitchen offers granite countertops and all stainless steel appliances including a bottom freezer refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and stovetop oven. A drip coffee maker is supplied to begin or end the day with a fresh cup of guests' favorite brew. Cabinets are generously stocked with cookware and dinnerware. The dining table connects the kitchen and living area and can seat up to 8 with overflow being accommodated by an additional table and chairs on the deck, making eating in not only convenient but scenic, as well! The living area is a cozy gathering spot with an angled flatscreen TV for easy viewing from either of the two sofas. Just outside the glass door is the covered deck, thoughtfully supplied with a table, chairs, rockers, ceiling fan, and wall-mounted flatscreen TV – perfect for game days or Masters week! Off the living area is the master suite with a king bed, flatscreen TV, armchair, walk-in closet, and plantation shutters that provide sweeping views during the day and privacy at night. The en suite bathroom features a double vanity with granite countertop and tub/shower. The second room on the main level has a queen bed, footed ottoman, storage closet, and flatscreen TV. Next door is a full bath with a granite vanity. There is also a laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer to help reduce the haul of dirty clothes back home. The downstairs area features two guest bedrooms, shared full bath, office area, family room, and walkout patio. Kids will claim dibs on the two double beds, and adults can peacefully sleep nearby in the queen room. The full bath provides a double sink vanity with granite countertop, step-in glass shower, soaking tub, and private toilet. With its large flatscreen TV, sofa, and two leather recliners, the sizable family room is a favorite for movie night or relaxing after a fun-filled day on the water. Whether guests are pining for a getaway full of high-octane adventure or low-key decompression, Marina Cove Escape offers hospitality suited for all types! It's situated just minutes from local shopping and dining. Right outside the gates of Reynolds Lake Oconee are Publix, PJ's Coffee of New Orleans, The French Hare interiors, and several neighboring boutiques. A few minutes south on 44, explore Harmony Crossing, home to some of our favorite cafes, restaurants, and retail shops. We also recommend visiting the historic districts of downtown Eatonton and downtown Greensboro. Be sure to check out the local events, festivals, and farmer's markets, too!

Perfect spot for a quick business meeting. The house had 4 bedrooms with plenty of space for all of us. The accommodations were perfect, outdoor deck, large TV viewing area, perfect large table for the business meeting and fantastic views of the water. 5 Stars all the way around. Thank you! We will definitely rent this house again.

Upon arrival it was difficult to get Thur security because the quest names were not given. At the house one of the quest closet was filled with a large animal cage , vacuum cleaner and other items after being told no pets allowed unable put clothes in the closet. Signs on the table stating no grilling on the porch but a grill on the porch Not happy with the stay a very expensive stay limited benefits. Ritz the next time

Very spacious townhome with lakeview. We really enjoyed our stay! No access to the Reynolds golf courses, but were able to make tee times at Harbor Club.

House was great for 6 ladies. All meals were planned with a larger group, so we did not cook…kitchen was good for our needs. We enjoyed the deck with a lakeview. The area was quiet.

Great location and great house! The location allows us to leave our boat secured on the boardwalk below the house. The house is well equipped and we were able to cook on the porch and watch football and baseball at the same time.

The house was very clean and well appointed. Comfortable space for relaxing and recharging. Plenty of room for our family (2 boys) including dog and grandparents. We enjoyed the back porch overlooking the lake. The photos show a kayak but there wasn’t one on property so we rented from Wild Oconee sports, they delivered for a fee. We would recommend this property and will likely rent again.

We booked a last minute trip for a long weekend and the Marina Cove Escape house was great. House was very much as advertised and check-in process was smooth. Easy access to the lake and a Marina within walking distance would have been very convenient if they weren't currently limiting rentals to members only due to covid (which was noted in the listing).

Over all we had a good time

There were a lot of dead bugs in the corners of the main living space. There was also a beer can under in of the beds. We had 8 people staying at the house and there were plenty of beds, but the house only had 6 forks and the only dinner table could only fit 6 chairs. The distance from the house to the lake seemed much closer in the pictures!! They consider there summer season over the end of July so several marinas were shut down

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental worked well for was clean and well equipped. Reynolds plantation is a great area and this was our first visit there. The cottage was located very close to the Marina and was really convenient when we rented a pontoon boat for a few hours one evening. This would be an ideal place to stay for someone who wanted to bring a boat or jet skis since there is a dock located in front of the cottage that is convenient. I would note that renting this cottage did not include access to the three different swimming pools and fitness center that are in the plantation. Fortunately we had some friends who own a home in the plantation and were able to access those facilities as their guests. You definitely want access to the pools in the summer time and the facilities are excellent. This is a great spot if you need to be near Athens GA and is close to Atlanta as well.

Our one problem (which was a bit scary), was that our names weren't at the security gate. It took a while for the rental company to get back with them. The owners were actually excellent and helped take care of it for us. The house was fantastic and had so much room! Overall, I would definitely recommend this rental. The location to the Marina/Pavilion was excellent.
