Situated in Pickens County, this charming cabin for $143 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This Home is in the foothills of South Carolina. It sits atop a 100 foot high ridge that overlooks a 'hollow' containing a beautiful spring feed creek. It sits at the back side of a heavily wooded ten (10) acre lot creating the sensation of being in your own little world. To get to the cabin you will follow a gravel road approximately 0.5 miles to the property. The driveway is gravel and some concrete. It is approximately 0.25 miles long and traverses a steep hill. The entire area is heavily wooded... and, beautiful. Local dining includes 'Victory Valley Vineyards' and 'Aunt Sue's'. You can find both of them on the Internet. Breakfast foods will be provided if requested. There are so many things to do in our area including Hiking, White Water Rafting, Tubing, Fly Fishing, Horseback Riding, Mountain Biking and Biking. The list goes on and on. There is something for everyone. Starting from the first minute you walk in you see the host really cares about your stay. If you want to sit around the fire and enjoy some family time or go exploring around this is the perfect place. The host really went above and beyond with what they provide for the guest I will be back for sure I can’t recommend this enough!!!!

Reasonable, comfortable, quiet, clean and well stocked two Bedroom cottage close to many outdoor attractions. Well away from highway traffic. Owner is helpful and friendly.

Great cabin in a quiet wooded area very close to Table Rock State Park. My husband, college aged daughter and myself found it the perfect location to get out early to very close hiking locations and return back to relax by the fire pit, play games and enjoy family time. Everything was extremely clean and well stocked!

We wanted a quiet get away for a few days. This cabin was perfect. It was clean. Easy check in. Great host. The entrance is steep but well maintained. Don had supplied so many extras that were much appreciated. Including half and half that I totally forgot to bring! We were also treated to watching the bears behind the cabin. They were beautiful, but I was happy there was some distance between us. It was a lovely and peaceful experience! Thank you Don for sharing your cabin with us!

The property was clean and neat. The location was very quaint and quiet. A peaceful place to enjoy nature, the sun peaking through the trees and the birds singing. The hospitality of owner was above and beyond regarding supplies, including food, drink, special added touches that made us feel very at home! Absolutely recommend staying in this Hidden Gem.

We stopped here on our way back from a long vacation and it was perfect for our little family! Not only was it nice, quaint, and clean, but everything was provided and more. The communication with the owner was wonderful and highly appreciated. He gave us a wealth of information about the area. We have lived in the area before and have been to many hiking trails and waterfalls, but the owner gave us places we hadn’t heard of before. We ended up going to Rainbow Falls and Pretty Place Chapel and had the very best time thanks to the owner’s information! When we got to the house there were already some groceries there! Thank you so much for making the end of our vacation better than we could’ve imagined. We will definitely be back again and would love to stay at this home when we do.

Cute and cozy well maintained little house for up to 4 people. Location was not quite what I expected and I would suggest a vehicle that can handle rough terrain. It is literally in the woods and uphill. Only “real” issue I had was some unwanted little critters we kept seeing in the upstairs bedrooms. There is a Dollar General close by so that was a plus.

This was our 2nd time at the property and we enjoy it more than anywhere else. We relax here unlike any other. We came back to here after 2 years as we got engaged the last time we were here. I recommend anyone to rent this cabin if you want to get away and relax. To top that off, Don is an amazing host.

As always, the time spent at Don’s cabin is a dream. Peaceful, quiet, excellent fire pit and grilling. Close to so many great adventures. This is my 5th time here! Explored Walhalla, Isaqueena Falls, and Stumphouse Tunnel this trip. Thank you!

Very private price. If anyone enjoys quiet and seclusion, this is it. It is so secluded, it is not a good idea to bring a low riding car up there. Perfect for small 4x4 and other 4x4s and AWDs. The driveway alone was a great experience. LOL. . The cabin is small and very comfortable. TV and wifi is great. With food and a few things he supplies, you can stay for a few days with out leaving. The outside is awesome for walking, hiking or just relaxing

I just want to say how wonderful the place was. It was clean, stocked well with food supplies, cleaning supplies and everything you might need. Even had firewood cut and stacked for us. The bed was amazing and it was truly a great vacation spot and so close to about 6 different state parks. Thanks for all you did for us Don. See you next year. Bob and Sue Rose

Loved our stay! It is definitely an older place, but very clean and well kept. Sheets and towels were wonderful and the beds very comfy! WiFi wasn’t great for streaming, but our cell service was very good there. We arrived after dark and it was definitely a little nerve wracking to make that arrival in the middle of the woods, but this place was perfect for our weekend of hiking. Host was quick to respond to questions as well!

We asked Don, the Host about some waterfall hikes. He had not hiked Rainbow Falls before, so he quickly climbed it on his own to give us a personal review. For hiking & waterfalls, this is a great location.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was clean and has pretty much everything we needed to include a waffle iron that we had fun using. We loved the seclusion and peacefulness. If you like hiking, this is the perfect "base camp". Table Rock, Caesar's Head and Dupont State Forest are very close plus more! We enjoyed it very much and will be back!

Don provided a nice, private hideaway that was well-stocked with a variety of food supplies and anything else you may want . The cabin is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who want to take advantage of the many hiking trails in the area. He has a variety of trail suggestions posted in the kitchen area and is eager to answer any questions about his beautiful neck of the woods. We also took advantage of the winery that is literally situated a few minutes drive away. A thoughtful host and comfortable place to spend a few days!

What an amazing little find! This was the perfect place for a little hiking getaway! Property was clean and well maintained and supplied just about everything you might need for a home away from home. We will definitely be return visitors! If you want a secluded cabin in the woods that is well stocked, this is the place for you. The owners left milk, eggs and a lot more food. Firewood was provided. The owner communicated well. We hope to.go back again!
