Brand new kitchen boasts 40" painted shaker cabinets, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, new recessed lighting, center island, pendant lighting. Dining area with seating for 10. Gathering space with 65" LED smart flat screen TV. Half Bathroom includes granite and updated fixtures. New Maytag washer and dryer. Spectacular outdoor spaces & views from a completely renovated covered porch and back deck. Multiple rocking chairs and loungers plus great outdoor dining space. Main floor master with king size bed, wall-mounted flat screen TV on swivel mount, walk-in closet. Updated master bathroom includes dual sink vanity, granite countertop and walk-in shower with new custom tile work. Second floor master suite includes queen-sized bed, flat screen TV and private bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has one queen and one twin bed with direct access to full bathroom. It has been perfect. The house more than met the expectations and needs. My daughter with mobility issues was assigned the ground primary bedroom. This allowed her to rest as needed without having to navigate the steps. The design of the back deck with the step down section that allows full view of the ocean without to look through rails is brilliant!!!! The deck rocking chairs got a full workout. This has been the perfect vacation and send off to my second act in life.

This was our second time in the home and everything was perfect. Plenty of room for privacy and togetherness. Short walk to beach from our door. You don’t want to miss this beautiful vacation home.

Can’t say enough good things about the property. Very clean and comfortable. The outdoor seating areas were everyone’s favorite perk with the ocean breeze and great views. Indoors were great too with great amenities. Rental and communication with property owner was also seamless.

I can not say enough good things about this gorgeous property, the owners and our stay! It started out we were not sure when to head down to Holden Beach from MD because of Hurricane Ian. I was able to discuss options with Betsy the owner of the property for several days before our stay, while she herself was vacationing in the mediterranean for her anniversary. She was so helpful and stayed in close contact with me leading up to our trip about the house and the storm that could have impacted our stay. She offered to let us switch our week with the following week because the house would be vacant at that time. We ended up coming down a day late per Betsy’s request due to the shift in the storm and still accommodated us for a full week stay. When we got to the property it was everything we expected and more. The pictures just don’t do the property and the views justice, it was so gorgeous. We could see the ocean from every room in the house and could hear the waves from our bedroom. We could see the sun raise off the back deck to the left over the beach every morning and watch the sun set to the right off the back deck every night. Killer sunrise's and sunsets! And just steps (nice flat walkway) to the beach. I loved that the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The furniture and decor through the house was so tasteful and beautiful. The deck furniture was great as well. Quality deck furniture, which had us living on the deck all week while enjoying the view of the beach. I have 2 small children and it was nice being able to see them from the deck and inside the house while they played on the beach (supervised😁). We had such a great time and we will definitely be staying again. Thank you Betsy and Brian for sharing your beautiful property with us. We hated to leave.

First family beach vacation!
We had a great time at the beach house! It was our first vacation as a family since having kids (ages 2.5 and 1) - we felt safe in the house and even found outlet covers in a drawer to keep little hands safe. Can’t beat the location right on the beach and the giant deck, we spent a lot of time napping and reading there. The house is right next to public beach access, but honestly the beach still felt private to us. Would definitely stay again!

House with a perfect view
We’ve been coming to Holden for many years and usually stay at our parents house across the street but were unable to stay there this year, so we rented this house, right across the street! It was such a different experience being right on the beach. Unobstructed views and quick and easy access allowed for beach walking and shell and shark tooth collecting whenever we wanted.
The house has been remodeled since we last saw the inside of it many, many years ago and it is beautiful. It was just the right size for our family of 4 + grandma. There was even 1 room leftover and untouched! My son loved being able to play new to him video games, so that was probably the highlight for him. My daughter loved riding her bike underneath the house, we just parked our car at the end of the driveway.
The road the house is on has become quite busy over the years, but we are used to it and some cars are more polite than others when you need to cross it. You do need to keep an eye on young children downstairs though.
We missed a pool and hot tub, but we were still able to access my parents hot tub and pool across the street, so it was the perfect setup.

Retirement Celebration
I rented The Beachhouse for my retirement celebration with my best high school girlfriends. This house was everything! The location was perfect, the views were amazing and the house was stocked with anything you could want in a vacation home. This was our first trip to Holden Beach and not our last. I will definitely go back!!! Thank you Betsy and Brian for sharing your piece of paradise.

Beautiful Holden beach property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was this nicest beach house I’ve ever rented. Exterior was newly redone and outdoor space was very nicely maintained. The same was true of the inside. Obviously recently redone and very tasteful and also comfortable. All the necessary amenities were included. Perfect beach house. Also a great fit for our two families with 6 kids under age nine. Would rent again and would recommend to others.

Awesome oceanfront!
Clean, beautiful, everything you need, big kitchen, table, family room- open seating which is perfect for family vacation. We had senior citizens to 40 somethings to two 6 year olds and this house worked for all of us. Lovely porch for morning coffee…. Neighborhood quiet…wish we were back and hope to rebook!

This was a great spot to enjoy the beach with family for the week. The house is very comfortable and has great views of the ocean off the deck and from almost every room in the house. It's just a few steps from the beach and has all the amenities you'd hope for in a location like this. Owners were very friendly and communicative. We would definitely like to stay here again!

Not Just Another Beach House...
It was more like a “beach home.“ It was very nicely appointed and offered tons of amenities not commonly found in your typical rental property. It was obvious that the owners spared little expense when installing high-quality materials in what appears to be a newly renovated interior and new deck. As a result, this is easily the nicest property I’ve rented over 25 years of vacationing on the North Carolina coast.
Excellent location and conveniently located close enough to local businesses that “trips to the store“ never took more than 10 minutes. The quality of the beach at this oceanfront property was outstanding.
The owner, Betsy, was very courteous and communicative, which was refreshing - I’ve had very good luck on Holden Beach when it comes to that when compared to other locations like Wrightsville Beach and OBX, so I was pleasantly surprised by that experience.
All of that said, I will certainly rent this property again, and likely do it around this time of year (October), as I intend to make an autumn vacation an annual tradition for myself, family, and friends.

Unfortunately we didn’t make it to the property due to a mandatory evacuation for a hurricane; however, Betsy and Brian were amazing to work with during this process. We were in continuous communication throughout the week. I look forward to a future stay!

Fantastic beach house. Fantastic, responsive hosts. Not much else to say. Beautiful property, and it’s apparent the owners have considered everything a family might need to enjoy a week at the beach. Would come back here in a heartbeat.
