Nestled in Grant, this lovely house for $377 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Tucked away, just off the main channel of Lake Guntersville, awaits the perfect place for your next trip to the lake. We call it Golden Sunrise for a reason. The sunrises are absolutely beautiful! Our lake house has 3 bedrooms/2 bath, plus extra sleeping on the sofa, and an over-sized chair with a single pullout cot. One king size bed, 2 queens, and full/twin bunk. The bunk bed is usually more appropriate for kids. There are beds for 9 plus a sofa bed (or just sleep on the couch like we do...), a pullout cot in the over-sized chair, and a single roll away cot. Washer/dryer, washing detergent, linens and towels provided. The kitchen is well equipped for your cooking needs as well as a gas grill and charcoal grill on the deck. The large family room has a massive sectional sofa so the whole gang can sit together. There's a large screened porch and a huge back deck with lots of outdoor eating space. The deck is gated to help with the little ones or the furry visitors. Also an outdoor fire pit for a lakeside fire. The backyard is level and great for playing yard games. Roku TV and internet provided but the view is too beautiful to stay inside for long! There are Roku TVs in the living room, master BR, and queen BR. Located just 4 miles off Hwy 431 on Hwy 79N (Scottsboro Hwy), our home is convenient to Guntersville, Scottsboro, and Huntsville. The nearest boat ramp is only 3 miles away at Waterfront Bay Grocery and Tackle. External power and pier space for boat docking at the boat house. ***Inside of boat house not for guest use**** No boat slip available*** but there is a covered porch area at the boathouse with chairs and uncovered areas for sunning. We have the perfect lake front home for your family, your group, or your fishing buddies! We are also conveniently located between Goose Pond and Gunter's Landing for those who would rather golf than fish. Not too fancy, old school lake house...But we love it! It’s a warm, welcoming, comfortable, relaxing lake house. You will feel right at home! The view of the lake just calls you to take a deep breath, relax, and slow down. You won't want to leave! We love dogs! Dogs welcome with well behaved, responsible owners. 10% discount on the nightly rate for 7 nights or more rental.

The home is very nice, perfect layout with master on one sude and two other BR opposite side with a HUGE greatroom and kitchen between. Gorgeous river and mountain view! Very nice dock and sitting area. Not too far from Guntersville downtown -- very quiet, peaceful and private. Loved it!

We were looking for a relaxing, scenic vacation, so stayed at the lake house for five days. It was that and so much more. The house was perfect and exactly as advertised. It was incredibly comfortable and spotless. It offered many amenities making for a home away from home stay. The view of the lake and the seating on the dock made for beautiful views. There were many nearby hikes and restaurants. Ellen was easy to communicate with and responded immediately to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

We appreciated sharing this home hosted by Ellen! She gave us all the info we needed for a wonderful week stay. The accommodations and amenities were more than adequate, and the fishing was great! The proximity to town and public launch was great! The fire pit was great and the bugs were at a minimum for being right on the water. Having TVs in 2 of the bedrooms was nice, but we didn't need them. The modular sitting arrangement in the Living Room was beautiful and quite comfortable. However, that room's TV was too small for that sitting arrangement and the elders in the group. But we really didn't need it much, as our weather for the week was fantastic and allowed most of our relaxing time on the great deck with a wonderful view. Ellen's heads-up on the circle drive limitations for boat trailers saved us a hassle. Her suggestions made entering the drive and storing the boat trailer convenient. We only lacked a suitable location to clean the fish, but we made do! Small price to pay for great fishing! We hope to make it back again, and other company that came to visit were very impressed and we gave them Ellen's contact info. They're planning to use this wonderful home for their next getaway!

I am a tough grader and would give our visit an A grade! My wife and I had a wonderful time as did our 14 year old dog. Super clean property with all the amenities. Large property with stellar lake views. Very good restaurants close by and lots of wonderful sightseeing. Don’t miss Lake Guntersville State Park and Cathedral Cavern State Park. By the way, we are not fishermen nor boaters and enjoyed the area very much. If you are, we’ll raise the grade to A+. If you think I’m exaggerating, we already booked our 10 night stay for 2024!!

The kitchen was well supplied with enty of plates, glasses, cups, & even spices. Plenty of cleaning supplies. Bathrooms were very clean and plenty of towels. Loved the accessibility to stores too.

Very spacious for the 7 of us that came. Everything stocked with the items needed. Quick responses from the owner if something needed to be addressed. The views from the boat house are beautiful. The kids loved fishing and swimming from the dock. Would definitely book again.

The house layout was great for large groups. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need. The dock was perfect for little ones to swim, and for docking paddle boards and kayaks. We had a great time. Thank you!!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this Lake Guntersville home. The spacious home was well stocked, and we enjoyed the fire pit one evening. We ate every meal on the screened in porch and loved the view. We highly recommend visiting nearby Cathedral Caverns!

Had a great time. We mostly fished the entire stay. We ended up catching 40 bass in a 3 day stretch. House was perfect set up for docking our boat & not having to put in & out every time. Will rent again in the future!

Lovely home with mature trees and landscaping on the property. The house clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed fishing from the private dock. We grilled one night. This is a very comfortable place to relax. We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house.

This home was immaculate and well supplied. The beds were especially comfortable for a rental. We had two boats that we were able to tie up to the dock which had ample electrical hook ups. We don’t recommend more than two boat trailers for parking. The host was readily available for questions. Although we did not bring a pet this trip, the home is very accommodating for dogs. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Very good rental for Large Family or multiple couples. It’s older as noted in description, but it’s homey and comfortable! The outdoor space is GREAT! That’s why you go to the Lake! We had guest for supper and family stop after our daughters wedding! A lot of Compliments and everyone Loved it ! Even the dogs who don’t travel much enjoyed it! The only negatives, It’s on a busy road and the driveway sneaks up on you! We missed it a few times! Door Locks need attention, but I did let the owner know that! They are very nice and Responsive. This will be the third year we've stayed at this house and we love it every time. It's clean and comfortable and has a beautiful view with a boathouse, so we bring our boats and it's great for swimming. Love the layout of the house and it's fairly well stocked with bathroom and kitchen necessities. It's so quiet and relaxing we never want to leave!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The dock was perfect for our pontoon boat. We spent most our time on the back porch and in the large backyard. The screened in patio was also great. The owners left plenty of firewood for the fire pit, which we took advantage of each night. Overall, it was an awesome location for a family vacation.
