We had a great time and it is a beautiful location. The downfalls were, the one room showed two beds and there was only one, it said there was a ping pong table and there wasn’t (they said it was broken a year and a half ago, the dishwasher was full when we arrived, a remote didn’t work and one was found under the bed, a towel was hung up on the shower and left from before, the one room smelled really bad and we had to keep the door shut and could not use that room, under the outside deck there were cans and trash. Luckily they came and fixed the remote situation. We loved the place but definitely had some downfalls. The staff was quick to reach out though. Just wanted to let people know before they book it. The rugs were really stained as well, but I think some minor fixes could really help it!

The good: excellent views and wildlife was abundant. All room were comfortable and the kitchen was great.
The not so great: living room carpet was stained up a bit. The hot tub had visible damage that had not been repaired at the time of our stay. Short a few towels but the management company corrected quickly.
Overall, we had multiple people that attended that plan to book there or in that neighborhood. Loved it!

The general meeting areas (i.e. kitchen, dining room, family room) were spacious and centrally located. Internet service was initially spotty but improved over time and having the use of 'Alexia' was a plus. The close proximity to noisy neighbors required the windows to be closed at night. The fact that the overhead fans did not work in several of the bedrooms made sleeping a bit uncomfortable with the windows sealed. The outer doors were somewhat flimsy, which made them difficult to lock from the inside. The parking area was tight for 4 cars. The grill was small and required us to eat in shifts due to the limited (cooking) surface area. We have stayed in rentals at Deep Creek for the past 7 years and would most likely not choose to return to this site in the future.

Despite that, the kids loved how spacious the house was and that it was very accommodating for large families. Everything you need was already there. The AC, in July, was not working from 5pm on Sun when we checked in to Thu at 2pm. I get that things break but we were told it would be fixed on Wed and it was not. WE had to CALL them to ask what was happening. The only "AC" we had were ceiling fans. Each fan had a remote and could only be used with the remote. Eaach ceiling fan DID NOT WORK but in a different way (a light but no fan, a fan but no light, no fan and no light), Repeated calls about the fan functioning went unanswered. On Friday (we checked out Sat) we found a plate of food left in the oven from the last renter). We did not use the oven because it was too hot in the house to cook so we did not find the food until something started to really stink. I can accept that all of these things "happen" . What I wanted was #1 for someone from Taylor Made to call and say I am sorry. #2 offer so sort of compensation for things we had to deal with. NOTHING. I had to call them. I had to get pissed on the phone. I was put on hold 5 times while they tried to "train" the newest CS rep how to deal with an unhappy customer. I had to keep knocking away until something decent was offered as a compensation. In this age of social media I would think that they would have been more proactive to make things right. I had to go and fight to make things right. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

The house has many updated appliances and bathrooms and kitchen are nice and modern. Our favorite was the size of the bedrooms as each is big enough for additional airmattress for the kids so it did not feel cramped. House is walking distance to the Adventure center which is also nice. My only complaint about the house is the sleeping sofa in the study. We tried to put 2 boys (10 and 12) on them but the mattress was so flimsy that they'd rather sleep on the floor. A kudos to Taylor Made staff. They've always stocked the house well in the 3 years we've rented. We never felt we were short in towels or any necessities. Also one of our party forgot her rain jacket in the house and realized 3 days after we left. Taylor Made was able to find it and shipped it back for free. Awesome service!

The dead flies in the windows were terrible. You could tell the cleaning company never opened the blinds to check as they had just left when we got there. The back door wouldn't lock. The smoke detectors were low battery and beeping when we arrived. Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay.

Went for a big fam vaca.The place was nice.A few minor things could have made it even better.The water temp was a little too mom wanted to take a bath but the water never got hot enough.There were a few little scrapes and bruises around the house-rips in wallpaper, broken ottoman chair, plaster peeling in kids bathroom-but overall, everything was nice.Would be a perfect spot for skiing.

Our weekend stay at Kendall Camp Get-A-Way was great! The cabin was beautiful, clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, and cookware. The only issues we had the whole weekend were the hard mattresses and the non-working house phone. It would be great if the living area had a large sectional sofa so the family could sit together. Otherwise we loved the cabin and can't wait to visit again.

Great space and layout. Bonus bedroom/den. 2 minor things - the floors to be cleaned better and they need to provide more physical keys or get a keypad lock for the door. Also a lot of the deck doors were difficult to lock. Also an unlimited day pass for the Wisp activities would be very beneficial for the kids.

We chose this house because it had a bedroom on the main level for Grandma because she uses a walker. Worked perfectly! Easy check in and check out - liked not having to go to realty office. This trip was a girls weekend to celebrate my birthday, and it was booked last minute. I was pleasantly suprised when we walked in. The photos on the website didn't do it any justice. It was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. We had everything we needed for the weekend. The only thing they needed was an updated radio system to play music on an Android and newer I-Phone, but I know now that I should bring those types of things. Overall, this house was exactly what I wanted, and it made my birthday special. I'll definitely come Stay again, when the slopes open. My entire family was very pleased and will be visiting Deep Creek again and using Taylor Made.
