About this house rental
Nestled in Lake Norman, this attractive house for $717 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This beautiful cottage is located off Exit 33 off I77 in the Point subdivision. It is a nicely furnished waterfront home with outstanding views of Lake Norman. This home features new HVAC, new interior and exterior paint and hardwood floors throughout! The lake views are spectacular and there is plenty of room for family and friends to relax in comfort. There is a large family room that opens up to the kitchen, as well as an enclosed sun room with panoramic views of the lake. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy a meal at home. Two of the 5 bedrooms are on the main floor, including the master bedroom which features a king sized bed, large screen TV and custom master bath. Two bedrooms are upstairs and share a bathroom. The first room is a semi-private room with two twin beds and a lovely electric fireplace. The room off of the twin bedroom features a new foam mattress King bed. Family and friends will love the large bonus room loft above the garage, which also makes a great place to send the teenagers after along day on the lake. This room also features a large screen TV, ample seating, full bath and a queen bed with a high boy dresser. This home is on some of the best deep water Lake Norman has to offer. There is a boat ramp on the property that guests are welcome to use. The large dock is fully equipped to tie up a boat, with a double jet dock for jet skis and more. The dock also features a diving board and ladder, and is perfect for swimming, sunbathing or just hanging out and relaxing! The home has a full deck with table & chairs & umbrella, plenty of seating and a patio with a propane gas grill. As an added bonus, this home sits next door to another vacation rental making this home perfect for larger events or multi-family vacations! Tiled sunroom with beautiful views of the lake and ceiling fans throughout, there are TVs in every bedroom, DVD, Expanded Cable w/ WiFi, filtered water and Garbage service. We offer a stackable washer/dryer in one of the downstairs baths for smaller loads as well as a full Washer/Dryer, Microwave and all kitchen amenities, CD & DVD player. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable w/ the amenities you expect of a home. Central A/C. Fully Furnished including Linens, Towels, Dishes and all Utensils. What is provided: Towels Linens Starter toilet paper and paper towels What to bring: Groceries Toilet Paper Paper Towels Beach Towels This home has it all including the most beautiful views of the lake. We have 3 propane containers for the gas grill & deck heater. If empty, you will need to refill for your own use - Refills are $24 at any local convenience store. It is a NO SMOKING property. This had all we needed. My kids wanted to spend their Christmas with my parents aa wwll as each other. We were able to do thar. There waa ample room for everyone and the view waa lovely even with the rain. We would love to stay again.

My family met up in the area for Thanksgiving and this house was a great place for hosting. All was comfy, lots of space and a beautiful view. I'd stay there again if in the area. Neighborhood was nice for walking and the young adults enjoyed taking the canoe out on the lake.

This waterfront property in Mooreville is fantastic. Check-in was straightforward; locate the keys, and you're in. With both the first and second floors at our disposal, featuring several beds, we made extensive use of the kitchenware and cooking range for our late brunches and dinners. It was probably the first time we utilized the kitchen to this extent, including making pizza in the oven. Access to stores and restaurants requires a car, but for our group of six friends, the property was ideal. We spent the entire night playing poker and watching games on TV.
Martin kindly allowed us to stay beyond the checkout time due to our late departures from NC. Overall, it added another beautiful memory to our list. Highly recommended.

This property was perfect for our family of 9 adults and an 18 month old. The house was clean with plenty of space to sit and relax together. Ample table seating allowed for home cooked family meals, and the view of the
lake is spectacular! We would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our girl's weekend away at this property. The family room is very large and the furniture is comfortable. The beds are comfortable. The only weird part is the two single beds are located in an open area upstairs. That was no problem for us but could be an issue for others. The kitchen was well stocked. However, it doesn't include all the extras that most of the places I stay have, such as toilet paper, little soaps, etc. Check-in and checkout were extremely easy. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at your place. The view was fantastic and we enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out over the water. There was plenty of room for us all with good amenities. We also enjoyed exploring the area and liked several different restaurants, including Carusos which was our favorite. We even rented a platoon boat for a couple of days so we could explore the lake and do a little fishing. All in all a great vacation.

We had a great week at Lake Norman.
Having a launch right on property made getting the boat in the water easy. There is a beautifully landscaped yard with plenty of trees for shade. The house had lots of room for everyone. The Martin's are wonderful hosts!

The location on the lake is perfect. I always rent a pontoon boat and this property has an ample dock…..and diving board. My impression is the house is an original build from the 60s. Relatively clean and easy to access. Had plenty of space for our group. My nephew has a young family and they very much enjoyed the space above the garage. I would book this property again.

The house was nice, great set up for a family gathering, we had 7 people and there was plenty of room to spread out, could easily fit more. The kitchen had everything we needed. The first floor living space and back deck were open and spacious with plenty of seating for a nice afternoon cookout with friends. Thank you for a great visit!

Overall we enjoyed our trip. Hosted a girls weekend and the location and proximity to the lake were great. House was spacious with lots of beds and bathrooms. Beds are firmer and comfy but bring your own pillow! Our only issue was lack of Wifi for the first day and no hot water. We did not have hot water in the main house for our entire stay. On the second day we noticed the loft was the only place that had hot water. All guests had to take turns using 1 shower which was not ideal. Host was very responsive up until we had hot water issues. This is really the only reason to give less than 5 stars.

This home met all our needs including parents, grandparents and children. Although it rained for most of our stay, the house and grounds are well maintained and attractive. The zoned heating/cooling, downstairs vs. upstairs, was appreciated. Our only suggestion is to adjust the scald guard setting on the downstairs master bedroom bathroom shower faucet to allow for warmer water shower.

We had a packed wedding schedule and wish we could have enjoyed this beautiful home more. Our only suggestion would be a keypad entry where the access code could be changed after each guest instead of using a physical key. We had lots of moving parts, and our bride ended up stranded for about 20 minutes in January when she returned before the rest of us without a key.

This was a wonderful place for a family gathering. The location was perfect. The owners were very responsive when we had a problem with the wifi. (The amp had just become unplugged.)

Four couples met for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed. The suite over the garage was used by one couple instead of using the walkthrough bedroom, but that would have been convenient if we had any children with us. The view was lovely and the heater on the back porch knocked off the chill perfectly! Would stay again.

My expectations were high for Angel's charming Lake Norman waterfront front home and our stay far surpassed expectations. We were in town for my niece's wedding and my family gathered from Colorado, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. The rooms were well suited to our needs and very comfortable. The porch, backyard, and dock were spectacular! My grandson and son-in-law were delighted to plunge in the chilly fall water. Our stay was so enjoyable that before we parted we asked everyone what was the high of our weekend, and our stay at Lake Norman was right at the top with the wedding itself! The property is in a quiet wooded area with a phenomenal view of the lake. The location is tucked inside a neighborhood and a little further away, but if you are seeking a peaceful and spacious home, this is your place.

Our group had a wonderful stay! The property was just as advertised. Spacious inside and outside. Nice deck space with a grill and fire pit! Owners were also very responsive throughout the visit which was much appreciated. Would defintely stay again!
