Sun Kissed Cove offers a variety of water toys including kayaks, a large lake mat, floats, and life jackets for your use. There are numerous parks, trails, and fishing destinations nearby to take advantage of your beautiful surroundings. Enjoy wide range views of Lake Norman from the large deck, sit above the water on the covered dock while watching a game, or enjoy s'mores at night while taking in the moonlit lake view. This well-stocked home offers everything needed for a relaxing vacation or a change in scenery for remote work or learning. The home is equipped with high-speed internet and versatile workspaces. The fully equipped kitchen features ample counter space and everything you'll need to whip up a tasty meal. Set the dining table and serve dinner family style or dine al fresco with a view of the water. The living room upstairs offers comfy seating and a flat-screen tv while a separate living area in the basement is sure to be a favorite hangout. The basement boasts a large sectional couch, a Nintendo Wii, and a foosball table- perfect for a rainy day, indoor recess or a break from calls. While we want all of our guests to have a great time, a quick reminder on the standard policies for this property: - Primary Renter Must Be At Least 30 Yrs of Age - lease and drivers license will be required - No Events/Large Gatherings (e.g. weddings, rehearsal dinners, graduation parties, etc); a $500 fine will be assessed if evidence of an event or gathering is found - This Property is Not Pet Friendly - No Smoking - Please be respectful of the neighbors at all times by staying on the property and observing noise restrictions between 10:30 PM and 8AM - This property is best suited for up to 6 adults and 5 children - Daytime maximum number of guests should not exceed the number of guests confirmed in the booking - If evidence of pets, smoking, or unapproved guests are found, there will be a $500 fine assessed Note: Your safety matters. There is a ring doorbell security camera located next to the front door facing out along with a camera facing the back entry basement door. They do not look into any interior spaces. *** We cannot guarantee that the dock can accommodate specific types of boats. If you are bringing your own boat, please let us know so we can check the accommodations. *** We cannot guarantee lake levels as they do change daily.

The property was spacious and there were plenty of cooking implements available to make just about anything you would want. The only downside was that the water did not get very hot. Since it was getting a bit cooler outside it would have been nice if the water heater was turned up. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Our stay was great, we brought our boat and the dock area and outside area overall was beautiful and a great place to hangout. Beautiful views of the lake from the house and dock area.

We rented this house for Labor Day weekend and had a great time! The backyard and dock area is what makes this place. There was plenty to do for the kids and adults. Only downside- tv at dock didn’t work and basement needs some updating. Other than that, it was great! Lots of rafts are supplied and life jackets, which was super nice

Everything was great. Great location, clean, relaxing. I would suggest 2 large trash receptacles as we arrived the day the trash was picked up and left before the following pickup so our trash was too full for just one receptacle. Nothing negative to say and can’t wait to come back!

family getaway
Overall, the house was nice.it fit 8 adults and one teenager very comfortably. We ate in quite a bit and had plenty of room and amenities. we spent most of our time in the yard, on the dock and in the water. liked the fact that there was not a lot of boat traffic in the cove. Quiet. good for kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. Water in main bath and dishwasher a little sulfur smelling so limited their use. it was a nice place to spend with family!

Upon arriving at the property the code given to us did not work so we had to wait for a code to open the door. After getting into the house we noticed a egg or sulfur smell in the bathroom off of the kitchen. It lingered in that area and the kitchen the entire time. At one point 3 of the toilets were not working. They were not clogged but would not flush. I think the septic obviously needed to be pumped. The day after we arrived an employee from southern charm dropped by and said that the neighbors told them we were over our limit with people staying at the house and that we had two dogs on the property. We were not over our limit of people. We were unsure if the neighbors were watching us the entire time or there were cameras in the house. It was a very uncomfortable feeling the rest of the time there. They threatened us that if we did not find somewhere else for the dogs to stay and that we stayed under the limit of people (which we already were ) they could make us leave and still keep the 5500.00 we spent for the week. We found someone to watch our two small dogs for the week. Overall the location - besides the neighbors or cameras in the house - was good and the dock area was nice and big. I have stayed at many places and I have never had any issues like this. I would never stay at that property again.

Sun kissed cove Lake Norman was peaceful and amazing!

This is an excellent property for a stay at Lake Norman. Everything was as advertised in the listing. The living room and kitchen exceeded our expectations from the photos. The outside spaces were fabulous. We spend most of our time on the deck facing the lake and the covered space on the dock.

The most relaxing vacation!
Originally it was just my nieces and daughter and then friends showed up for a few days. The friends commented at least 3 times, how it was the most relaxed vacation they could remember and we concurred. It was very clean and organized. Everything was perfect down to the wonderful lake floats, kayaks, the fire pit, and especially the lake front covered gazebo with every amenity you could want. Even if it had rained every day, there would still have been plenty to do. We would definitely rent this property again.

2 Family Vacation
This property was wonderful! We traveled with our friends and all of our kids. 4 adults, 6 children and we always had plenty of space and plenty to do! The dock area was so nice & the house provided lots of water toys for the kids. Wonderful experience & ready to book the same place again next year ❤️

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house was clean, beds were comfy, plenty of room for a 2 family stay. Lots of games and outdoor activities for kids and adults to entertain themselves. We will be back!

Our family had a great time swimming, kayaking, fishing and just relaxing on the dock. The house is very comfortable and clean, kitchen is well stocked. Great location on the lake, with a beautiful view.

Had everything we needed!
What a delightful 5-day retreat! We enjoyed the house, the fire pit and the dock. Generous access to all the 'lake toys' kept us and our two kids busy and we didn't even miss having a boat for Saturday or Sunday (all boat rentals were booked over Memorial Day weekend). Would definitely consider returning again! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home.

Lakefront vaca
Wonderful property for families. Kayaks were there and small boat for kids. Fire ring and dock area great for relaxing. Just a great time was had by my family and the house was well stocked and clean when we arrived. Hostess provided smores treats for kids and coffee for us. Her communication was excellent. Just a great place to stay.
