About this condo rental
Situated in Orange Beach, this charming condo for $343 per night is a great choice for your next break. YOU WON'T FIND A MORE BEAUTIFUL VIEW IN ORANGE BEACH! Our condo is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico and the beach is only a few steps behind the condo. Emerald Skye is a low density (only 37 units). Even in the summer the beach is not crowded like the big high rises. The condo is conveniently located in the heart of Orange Beach and within walking distance on the beach to CoastAL restaurant and shops. Additionally, it is less than 1/2 mile from three grocery stores and two pharmacies. 'Our Little Get-A-Way' is perfect for a couple or small family to get away for a few days or few weeks! Additionally, since our condo is on the second floor, you will not have to wait for an elevator. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Gulf from the living area or balcony. From the moment you open the door you will know this is not an ordinary rental unit. We love the condo and consider it our second home. The large balcony is comfortably furnished for relaxing and enjoying the view. We even have a table for two for romantic evening dinners! The condominium is very nicely furnished and decorated. The living area is very comfortable and has a 50 inch screen TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equiped with custom cabinetry and stainless steel applicances (electric stove, refridgerator, dishwasher, and over the counter microwave. It is very well stocked with nice cookware, dishes, and cutlery. The bedroom is private from the rest of the condo. It has a very comfortable king-size bed, dresser, two night stands with lamps for reading, a 32 inch flat screen TV, and DVD player. Emerald Skye has a heated pool (March - November), picnic area with charcoal grills, and a nice beach side lounge area to sit and read or enjoy the beautiful view. Additionally, we provide access to our ground floor store room, which contains two very nice beach chairs and umbrella. A fitness room is located on the ground floor. It is equipped with treadmill, elliptical machine, and stationary bicycle. A full range of hand weights and bench is also available. This unit is non-smoking except on the balcony. Charmingly decorated beach condo with the best views on the beach. Starting with golden sunrises and ending with flaming red sunsets- every day was a gift! Watching the surfers, beachgoers, herons, dolphins, ospreys, pelicans, choppers, jet fighters, etc., from the spacious balcony, offered up hours of entertainment. Walking the white sand beaches, searching for seashells, biking the Gulf State Park, swimming in the ocean ( or pool ) filled our days.
Richard, our host, was a pleasure to deal with and very timely with answering any questions or concerns. The condo has everything you need to feel right at home. The people in Orange Beach are friendly and welcoming and filled with Southern hospitality. We didn't want to leave and really hope to return.

Perfection! Quiet, smaller building with view of beach and gulf off of balcony. So clean and updated. We didn’t want the glitz and shine from a huge place, but still felt we had the same treatment! The beach chairs and umbrella were ideal and so easy to get to!! The powdery white sand is gorgeous and we loved watching and hearing the waves from our balcony.
We would recommend this VRBO and are so thankful we found it!! Would definitely come back!!

Awesome experience for first beach trip in 20 yrs. Extremely clean and very cute decorated condo, plenty of room for our 3 member family with the absolute best view ever of beach, ocean and pier from next door along with a dolphin that enjoys the pier area every morning and evening. Condo had a wonderful smell was very equipped with everything you could possibly need with everything in working order. Beautiful safe area for family, the downstairs closet has all kinds of water/sand toys, chairs and umbrella for the beach. Elevator was always working and accessible. The renter was helpful throughout the process, made sure everything was ok when we arrived and very responsive to questions. Will definitely stay here again if we visit the area! Bonus, the beach was not crowded at all in front of the condo!

The condo was very nice. Upgraded kitchen and bathroom, very clean.
Outdoor heated pool was a nice plus and the use of beach chairs and a large umbrella was extra nice. New keyless door locks are also nice.

We got a great price for small family trip. We stayed three nights. Spent two full days at the beach. The owner had a closet with beach chairs and toys down stairs close to the beach entrance which was so nice! The bed was super soft and everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with cups, bowls, pots & pans! I will be back! And I will recommend to all my friends and family great place!

This is our third stay with this host at this property and we cannot say enough positive things about either of them. The condo is spotless, with comfortable furniture & has the best stocked kitchen of any property we have ever stayed at. Direct access to the beach facing South with the most wonderful views. It's a great place to sit and watch the dolphin swim by and the waves crash at the base of the pier.

This was a great condo for us to getaway and enjoy the beach, the views, and excellent seafood in the area. The owners were kind and easy to work with, communicated well, and made sure we had what we needed. The condo was just the right size for the two of us, comfortable and pretty furniture, great kitchen set-up, and super clean! Since it is on the second floor, we could use the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator which can sometimes be slow. I loved that they had plenty of hangers in the closet because I always forget to pack those. Also, they didn't have a lot of knick-knacks sitting around that we worried about breaking or getting in the way. They had just the right amount to make it feel like a home. Loved that! Balcony furniture was really nice, and we enjoyed sitting out there often. Sometimes the AC was a little noisy when we were sitting outside, but I expect that's true everywhere. We just learned to turn it off when we planned to be outside. No problem! Highly recommend this property if you want a clean and quiet spot for your next vacation with kind owners to walk you through everything.

Very quaint and comfortable. Had everything we needed except for food. Maybe a few too many outside throw pillows that we brought in during the storm.....but that's what the big closet is for, right? It was a delightful stay.

First impression was the clean, well marked parking lot and entry to the property. That followed by the Wow view from inside the unit. Everything was clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked with linens, supplies and cookware. The patio was perfect for enjoying coffee and the Morning dolphin review. So much fun to watch. Easy beach access for catching sunrise and sunset photo ops - and a good walk. Owner had left an area information guide with nearby restaurants and menus. We enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner at Fisherman’s Corner - one of the owners favorites. Rick, the owner was so helpful and available to answer in questions that might arise. This property is just as described. It has everything one could want for a beach vacation. We will certainly book again.

This was our 3rd time staying at the condo. Perfect location, perfect size for the 2 of us. Rick is great. He checks on you and makes sure there are no problems. We will be back next year!

We were very happy with the accommodations. Very nicely decorated, comfortable, and clean. Comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, and nice balcony chairs and tables. We also enjoyed the heated outdoor pool. We would certainly return here.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this condo. The owner Rick, responded promptly to all of our questions and needs. As others have commented, the bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped and met all of our needs. Lots of great restaurants nearby as well. The best part of all, was the view of the gulf and seeing all of the dolphins. We're really going to miss this place. One of the best vacations we have ever had. Hope to visit again one day 😊

My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay to celebrate my birthday and our 1st anniversary, and I could not have hoped for a better condo in a better location. This was our first visit to Orange Beach ( we are from Philadelphia PA area) and the details Rick includes in the property description were accurate and very helpful. The condo was extremely clean and nicely decorated and had everything needed to make the stay easy and convenient (and the bed is VERY comfortable!). We were lucky to have extremely beautiful weather the entire visit (mid 70s) so made good use of the beach chairs and other items daily. All check in, check out and condo information was provided ahead of time, and the information binder gave really good restaurant and activity suggestions - I highly recommend checking out the Fisherman’s Corner restaurant and understand why Rick said it was their favorite!
