Nestled in Fajardo, this attractive house for $869 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Our vacation home consists of two full units. From the outside you see one large house. It is actually two seperate units. So you get two units/homes for one price. Each house has a living room, dinning room, recently remodeled kitchen and laundry room. Upstairs is a spacious three bedroom/two bath house which sleeps 8. Downstairs is a two bedroom/two bath house (plus a computer room converted to sleeping area) which sleeps 6. The entrances are separate which ensures privacy. The pool is custom built with a spectacular ocean & mountain view. The pool is UNHEATED, no jacuzzi. There is a large covered terrace and bar-b-que for renters use. Our home is a hidden paradise on a mountain top. Find peace and tranquility. Go to sleep with the singing of the famous Puerto Rican 'coqui.' Enjoy a spectacular ocean view, custom unheated swimming pool and large yard. This mountain top retreat is private, peaceful, hidden yet only 2 miles from the freeway, largest marina in PR, stores, restaurants and beaches. You can awe at the neighboring islands you'll want to visit (Culebra, Vieques, Icacos, Palominos). Upstairs is a colorful traditional Mexican style home with high ceilings, hand painted Mexican tiles and rustic furniture. Delight in solid wood furniture throughout the house. Enjoy a 40 foot balcony with a breath taking ocean view. If you enjoy cooking you won't want to leave this spacious kitchen with mahogany cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Last but not least, you'll fight with the others over the guest bedroom with an amazing underwater mural which covers the entire wall and ceiling! The house downstairs is a modern 2 bed/2 bath plus a computer room converted into an additional sleeping area. There is a full kitchen just remodeled, dining area, living room and laundry room. The bedrooms are 12 foot x12 foot with full length closets and mirror doors. Enjoy a romantic view of the city lights below from your queen-size bed in your air-conditioned master bedroom. The master bedroom has glass double doors to ensure a view of the full moon over the ocean surface. The master bedroom has a private bathroom, mirror closet, and high ceilings. It also has an attached computer room converted into a sleeping area. This Non-Smoking house is two miles from Puerto Del Rey marina, ten minutes from Seven Seas Beach, ferries to Culebra and Vieques and 1 hour from the SJ Airport. Luquillo Beach and El Yunque Rainforest are 20 minutes away. There are daily flights from Fajardo to Culebra & Vieques. The Westin Rio Mar and Wyndham El Conquistador Resorts are close by. The house sits on an acre lot with 6000 sq. ft. grass lawn, palm, banana and mango trees, orchids... The neighbors are sparse so you rarely hear a car go by. This can all be yours. You will not find another villa like it in Puerto Rico!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location and views are spectacular. We were grateful for the mountain breeze that kept us comfortable both day and evening as we sat out on the deck/balcony enjoying coffee, meals, and cocktails. The two unit setup was perfect for our group of 14–providing ample space and privacy, as needed. The outdoor entertaining area was just what we needed to host additional family for an outdoor Christmas gathering! The kids spent hours every day in the pool and loved having the run of the yard. We will definitely be back!

We had the best time at Monica’s property with extended family. There is is much space to accommodate everyone, we had ages 4-84!
The pool was wonderful, both spaces were well equipped with everything we needed. Monica is a fabulous host who was available to talk to me before my stay and answer a question I had! Great visit! We will be back!

drive, drive, drive(from the airport)and then climb a steep hill to find this hidden gem! Fabulous view! Great outdoor space! Quiet and safe and so beautiful!! Short distance to El Yunge to explore for a day. So close to the marina in Fajardo to get to the Island of Icacos. Loved the big table and sitting area around the pool, right outside of the kitchen. Wish there would have been a better way to get from the upstairs unit to the downstairs unit, but not a big deal.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Monica's house! From the pool with amazing views to the many outdoor spaces for us to enjoy and the two levels, each with individual kitchens, it was everything we were looking for from a home base while visiting PR for the first time. The pictures don't do it justice! The location was also perfect for us to easily visit El Yunque, Farjado, and Luquillo and we were just a few minutes from the marina so we were able to charter a boat to a local island as well. House was clean, well stocked and ACs worked well which was a must in July. Monica was very responsive and detailed in all her instructions and we didn't have any issues checking in or checking out. Will definitely recommend this home to friends and families and hope to return in the future!

This home is comprised of two separate units (upstairs and downstairs) each with their own kitchen, laundry facility, living room, and entry way. The pool, yard, and grill/patio and parking are all shared. This arrangement was perfect for our extended family vacation of 10. The home was incredible, clean, and well furnished with everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. Communication with Monica, the property owner, was always quick and helpful; and she did everything possible to ensure our stay was comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Our family had the trip of a lifetime! This house was so perfect. The pool was a highlight for everyone and the patio was the ultimate gathering place for the whole family. Would we rent this place again??? In a heartbeat!!! Monica was the best! And we hope to return again.

It was a beautiful home. Close to many activities. We had a group of 8 and there was more than enough room. We loved listening to all the Coqui frogs every morning and night. Casper the cat was the best!

This is an ideal location within short traveling distances to beaches, a national rain forest and commercial endeavors yet maintains an isolated ambiance for peaceful relaxation and reflection among the fauna and flora of a tropical paradise. The property is aptly named hidden paradise for no small reason and offers a quite retreat at the end of a full day of touring the island or just hanging out during one’s stay here. A “must return again” rental property.

This house completely exceeded our expectations! I attribute the great success of our family vacation to this home. There were 12 of us (3 families) with kids aged 3-17. There was plenty of space for us to congregate together, or if you wanted some alone time/naps for kids-not a problem. Huge kitchen upstairs where we cooked & never bumped into each other once! I didn’t think we’d care, but the house also has a yard (which our kids had a great time playing football in too).
THE POOL!!! Absolutely beautiful pool that we had all to ourselves! The kids swam at 7am and 9pm and every hour in between. The view is beyond amazing.
Property owner responded to texts within minutes. House was clean and comfortable and furnished appropriately. We loved it here and were so sad to leave! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home Monica!

We enjoyed zip-lining, a cameraman tour to the island of Icacos, kayaking the bioluminescence mangroves/night tour, and a couple of day trips to Old San Juan. The host was quick to respond with any questions too. I'd highly recommend this home.

Time away with family
The morning scenery was amazing. Going to sleep to the wonderful sounds of Coqui’s made it extra special. The house was spacious. It was great being able to have my family come over for a cookout. Plenty of grass to lay on and enjoy the sounds of the waterfalls of the pool. I wish the pool was heated but we still enjoyed ourselves during the daytime swim. We didn’t mind having the cat around since we are animal lovers. If you’re concerned about safety, don’t worry there are cameras outside the house and the owner monitors them frequently. Some of the appliances can be upgraded but for the most part the house is in great good shape. The murals were our favorite part and some of the history on the walls gave it a nice touch. This was a good trip.
