The stunning interiors in your private Holmes Beach vacation rental are elegant, fresh and bright. The two bedroom, 2.5 bathroom residences are attractively decorated, with white walls, cool pastels, local artwork, polished pine floors and comfortable furniture. All suites have an expansive deck and are just steps away from the sand. Although our property is right on the beach, this unit faces the island, but again, you're just steps away from the sand. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen with marble counter tops, custom wood cabinetry and stainless steel appliances will channel your inner chef. This two bedroom residence can accommodate 4 guests comfortably with a maximum total of 6 guests. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom. Featuring historically inspired architecture and craftsmanship, professionally designed interiors, authentic pine flooring, designer fabrics and comfortable furniture. Mainsail Beach Inn units offer direct beach access, heated resort-style swimming pool, hot tub, poolside grill, private beach lounge chairs & umbrellas and bicycle rentals.

Although the unit was clean and comfortable, the family staying in the unit above us sounded like they were playing soccer day and night. We had to leave a day early. We would like an one day refund for our trouble.

Very clean property. Nice amenities such as lounge chairs for the beach, paddle boards, kayaks, etc. It felt more like a hotel than a condo due to the great service from the on site management. The condo itself was modern and comfortable. The parking was the only drawback, and only because there's a busy restaurant next door which made coming and going in the evening an adventure.

Beautiful and clean, our room was wonderful. The staff (Matthew, John and Rhonda) were so nice, friendly and helpful, Mainsail should be very happy to have them helping guests. Literally on the beach with loungers, kayaks and paddleboards available to use with no additional fees. We hope to be able to stay there again, have been coming to AMI for many years and this location is really perfect for couples or families, highly recommended!

Booking online is always a bit of a roll of the dice, but the Mainsail Beach Inn did not disappoint! We stayed in Unit 6 (aka 6B indicating upstairs) and it was exactly as described. If anything, it was better than I expected! The unit is perfect for a family - especially enjoyed the full kitchen with all the necessary items to cook and serve. Having a small child, we very much appreciated being right on the beach (literal steps!) and all the extras that MBI provides (towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc.). The staff was all lovely, as well.
Coming up with any constructive input is a reach, but if anything I’d say drop the “host fee”. I realize this is common practice now, nevertheless feels like a bait-and-switch after someone picks their accommodations based on a nightly rate that doesn’t include either of these. For two nights we spent an additional $600 in fees alone. Ouch.

At the end of our 2 week trip around Florida we (a family of 4) were lucky enough to have found the Mainsail Inn. Located in one of the best spots on Anna Maria Island we were able to spend 3 wonderful days here. In our apartment #6 nothing was missing, it was spotless clean and it had an excellently equipped kitchen. Should we ever return to AMI we will certainly check availabililty at the Mainsail Inn.

We booked two suites at Mainsail and invited 6 friends to join us for a 50th Birthday Celebration in early February. We loved Mainsail, the beach, Anna Maria Island and the time together. Mainsail is a very high quality facility with an incredibly accessible beach just out of its front doors. We like staying in good places and we would stay here again if we return to Anna Maria Island.

The living room was great size but the furniture was horribly uncomfortable to the point you could not sit down and enjoy it. It is a pullout couch and the cushions and so angled forward you cannot sit. The bathroom in the 2nd bedroom-toilet ran the entire night. The second night we stayed starting at midnight on, it sounded like furniture was being moved around and it went on all night. For the price per night of this stay, I would expect more.

We loved the location, the condo was also very roomy and nice. Hot tub was nice and hot and pool was warm. The bikes on site were great also!

What a beautiful location, right on the beach. The condo is in the back of the building, but there are two covered porches with chairs, one overlooking the pool. The beach is just a short walk out the front door. The condo was immaculate and the coffee and tea were much appreciated. We will be back soon. Thank you.

The view from the room balconies was terrible...overlooks a motel roof with 4 air conditioning units on top of it. The noise was so bad from the 4 A/C units that we could not enjoy a conversation with our morning coffee and evening wine. Would not recommend this unit or any on the south side for these reasons. Management only told us when we called to inquire that the room had a great view of the mention of the roof view or the noise. They would not provide any compensation.
