The rental is nice, and adequate.
However, while I expected 1 flight of stairs, the rental is actually on the 2 floor (and there are over 60 steps). It was quite difficult to take the luggage up and down, and the stairs were especially difficult for my 70 year old parents.
The rental matched the listing pictures, however somethings were missing. There were not TVs in every room. There was a computer monitor in the master bedroom, that did not work. The shower door in the second bathroom did not close. And much of the apartment has a moldy and musty smell - though perhaps that is unavoidable in Venice, given the natural elements.
In terms of toiletries, there were several single use bottles of a shampoo/body wash. Nothing else was provided, not even a bottle of water. Plus the wifi connection only really worked in the living room, and was spotty at best in the bedrooms. These were all things we found rather disappointing.
On the positive side, the air conditioners worked relatively well, the rooms were spacious, had plenty of closet/storage space, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. A few travel books were in the apartment, which really helped us map out our days in Venice.
The host was communicative, and checked on us to make sure we were comfortable, they even offered to help us with our return to the airport on the day of departure - all of which was appreciated.
The location of the rental is amazing so after the initial adjustment we had a great time

Our family of 6 stayed here on our third stop in Italy. The apartment was wonderful and by far our best lodging of the trip. The location was great, the apartment itself was well updated and comfortable, and the building was so charming and full of character. Highly recommended.

Some issues with the shower - shower door seemed to be broken and was difficult to close. Water pressure in the shower was very low and inconsistent over time.

The apartment is well situated and has charm, but there are various problems with the appliances, fixtures and general upkeep of the place that made it kind of a disaster. The range stopped working while we were in the middle of cooking dinner so we had to lose a very expensive fish dinner. The shower door didn’t work so water goes everywhere. Also, in general the water pressure was horrible so you’re taking a shower under a trickle. There were various other cheaply made components of the house that made it difficult to live in. Too bad because it potentially could’ve been a great place w the right amount of care.

The staff is very helpful with all of the transfer’s necessary to get you the keys and to the property. The front door is a bit challenging to open with the skeleton key. Hint: push all the way in and back out a quarter inch then turn and feel your way through the process. Getting out of the front door is a push button scenario. What they say about the stairs is true. The master shower is tiny the main is better. Overall location is great and beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well and house was clean. Staff were attentive and available. Would stay again.

Perfect family place in a great location to get to everything in Venice...even had a great meal in the restaurant next door. Check in and bag storage at the facility by the rail station was super smooth and really helpful. Five thumbs from us!

Our family group of 6 (two parents, two 18-year olds and two 19-year olds) stayed in this VRBO June 22 - 24, 2023. We loved it. The location was awesome, in San Polo, close to Rialto Bridge, restaurant next door, small open plaza on the other side, 10 min walk from San Marco square. The neighborhood felt safe, we never had any issues walking around day or night. We felt comfortable letting the teenagers walk around by themselves at night. The building was so cool. The amenities were surprisingly good considering the age of the building. The booking and communication with the host were great. The host was very responsive, the price was good, and check-in was easy. Highly recommend this VRBO for anyone visiting Venice.

The unit was just as expected…up several flights of stairs, but in a perfect location just down from the Rialto Bridge. The a/c units in each room worked well. It was a great space for our family of 5 to stay for a few nights as we explored the beauty of Venice!

The apartment was perfect for our family. The beds were very comfortable and having A/C on a hot day was a lifesaver.

Perfect location, super clean, host was available to help, shower was perfect, rooms spacious, loved the open windows and shutters. Very beautiful and central.
Cons: horrible beds Soo uncomfortable like rocks, needed more toilet paper. Directions to get in are unclear and we had to call them for assistance. When you get off the elevator the sign will say Spagna arts but the door says number 5 then you go in and find your actual room number. A microwave would be nice they have mini fridge but you eat cold food lol.
Would definitely stay here again if they replaced the mattresses!

The location is centrally located to everything. So many food options, shopping and points of interests just steps away. If you hate steps, this might not be for you. I was pleased with our choice!

The house was very comfortable with lots of space. Underneath the house are 2 restaurants plus lots of shops around. A few minutes from San Marco.
Missing was the little touches as no one can leave salt, sugar or anything else in the house.
Bring some tea, coffee or whatever you like as the house is bare. Also no laundry soap, bring enough for a load or 2. There is everything you need in the house.
Also the market is very close, go shopping in the morning and get your beautiful fish, vegetables and wine and then have a wonderful every at home.
Also the trash disposal, they wrote only up to 830 on the instructions but they are around much later.
Enjoy the house and enjoy Venice!

Location is excellent. It's pretty quiet at night for such a central location (November). The main bed is a queen size bed and relatively firm. All the climate control, cooking, and laundry facilities work well. The unit would benefit from some repairs: there are a couple broken light fixtures, and blood spats on the wall in the bedroom from mosquito swatting. Sheets and towels are new and clean but the blankets are a bit old.

This property was very close to the water, shopping, and all the food you could ever want. Easy booking and transaction. Definitely recommend.

Good central location
Nice location, convenient to vaporetto. Suited our family’s needs for a brief stay.

Warning!! 61 stairs to 1st floor
This minimally appointed apartment on the first floor is 61 stairs from ground level. No lift to the apartment so pack accordingly. Easy access to Rialto bridge and all popular sights, just 1 block from the water. No frills, no extras! Bring your own toilet paper and laundry soap. Communicate with Faville tours was great until I failed to respond by their time line. (I was on vacay lol!) Then I got a phone call and was scolded! Check was easy but as I got my key from the box, the agent closed the window and locked it. I wanted to ask a question and she did

Perfect location
The location of this apartment was great. It’s close to local shops and restaurants in the neighborhoods behind the apartment, while Rialto bridge and the Grand Canal are right around the corner. It is comfortable and would work well for any friends or family traveling together. I would caution anybody who can’t manage steps that this property has A LOT! Thank you to the management company who were very responsive to any questions.
