About this cabin rental
Located in Healy, this charming cabin for $388 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. NEW BUILD READY for 2019 summer season! Denali Wildlife Moose Cabin,, just 10 miles north of Denali National Park and 3 miles south to our quaint town of Healy. We are a little over a mile off the Parks Highway, most of that private road - watch for the moose they will probably be standing in the road watching you. We sit tucked away on 27 wooded acres surrounded by state land, at the base of Mt Healy and Otto Lake. With the seclusion, tranquil privacy and the amazing panoramic mountain views you get the "Alaska Wilderness" feeling that so many people worldwide come to our beautiful state hoping to find. With great hiking and Otto Lake right out your door, the abundance of wildlife that comes thru at any given time,, moose, caribou, Alaska hare, red fox, wolves, bear, owls. Don't be surprised if your sitting on your deck taking in the awesome views in the evening and you hear a wolf howling or the sound of owls - hoot back at the owls and they'll respond! The Moose Cabin is one of several situated on our tranquil wooded acreage, all are studio style cabins themed after wildlife in Denali National Park, new and built this winter/spring. They are luxury with a touch of rustic, so whether you head down to Glitter Gulch to do some shopping, go out your cabin door on a wilderness hike, picnic by the lake or right on your deck. BBQ (we supply the charcoal and propane), or sit by the fire ring (firewood provided) relaxing, roasting marshmallows making smore's (supplies provided in the pantry :)), We designed and built our cabins with your comfort and relaxation in mind,,,,, each cabin has 2 plush queen pillow top beds, therapeutic pillows (that won't give you a neck ache) ceiling fans when you want that slight breeze in your room, Italian Tile and hard wood flooring, nice dining room table to eat on and play games on, kitchenette's that have microwaves, refrigerators/freezers, keurig coffee makers, toasters, sinks, dish soap and kitchen towels also a few other small kitchen appliances, but they DO NOT have stoves in them. They have big showers, soap, shampoo, conditioner and nice thick towels, I look forward to making your Alaska trip a relaxing, memorable one. The property had everything we were looking for. It was very clean and stocked nicely. It even has extras like a soft cooler so we could just pack our lunch for the park. Very quiet and a magnificent view. Lacie also gave us a bunch of great into and made sure that the stay went well. It is very close to the part as well as Healy. We hope to be able to come back someday and stay again.

Moose cabin was exceptionally clean and well stocked to include fixin's for Smores. Lacie is a consummate host and thought of everything to make our stay memorable. The property is beautiful (27 acres) with wildlife in/around Lake Otto and we had a juvenile moose grazing for a short time near the firepit. The cabins are a short drive to Denali National Park and we spent our days hiking and/or relaxing. I would highly recommend staying at Denali Wildlife Cabins and enjoying not only the wildlife on the property, but also Lacie's hospitality.

Lacey is a wonderful host and put thoughtfulness into our stay. We loved the community fire pit complete with chopped wood and fire starters plus smore kits for a roasting great time! The cabin was extremely clean and very comfortable with great mattresses and bedding. The bathroom shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water with soft towels. We enjoyed the location and saw the moose wondering through the property. The hike to the lake is magical and not far from the cabins. We will stay at the cabins again on our next visit, there is so much more to see we need a return visit!

This cabin in the woods is amazing! Cleanest place I've ever stayed! We appreciated that SO much after also staying in a place this same trip that is not this clean. The goodies offered to guests are very generous and thoughtful! If we are blessed to be able to return to Denali, we will definitely stay here! Thank you Lacie!

A very nice secluded cabin. Clean. Looks newly constructed. Easy walking distance to private access to Otto Lake. Great view of mountains and of wildlife. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay in the Moose cabin and highly recommend Denali Wildlife Cabins to anyone visiting the area. The cabin had plenty of space for our family of four and the property was beautiful and peaceful. All of the little touches were noticed and appreciated…all of the fixings to make s’mores, bottled water in the fridge, even a bug zapper! We had a great stay.

Moose Cabin
My husband and I loved our stay at Moose Cabin. It was cute, clean, and comfortable. The location is beautiful, and it is very convenient to Denali National Park. If we are ever in the area again, would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location
What a great cabin and setting. The place was convenient to the National Park, but far enough away to be peaceful. It was a nice escape at night, after a full day of crowds and passing bus traffic. The short walk to the lake was an added treat. Our whole family had a blast and will definitely be repeat customers when in the area.

Wish I didn’t have to leave
Amazing rental!! This rental is about a 25 min drive to the bus depot in Denali. About 15 min drive to restaurants and Glitter Gulch. So it’s a great location! There are a few other cabins on the property but they are nicely spaced so you feel like you have your own area. It’s very secluded and surrounded by beautiful scenery. A momma moose and her 2 babies walked right by the cabin one morning. There’s a nice walking trail to Otto Lake. Lacie is an amazing host! She has coffee, creamer and sugar in the rental. And even a s’mores kit ready for you. She even gave us some fresh halibut and everything we needed to season and grill it. So yummy!! She lives on the property and was readily available and full of local info and advise. I would definitely stay here again if I ever make it back to Alaska!

Beautiful Cabin and Location!
I absolutely loved Lacie’s cabin! It was perfect! It was spotlessly clean, well stocked with s’mores, popcorn, games, coffee, toiletries, water, ice, etc., and had plush towels and comfortable beds. Lacie was quick to provide assistance, offered suggestions, and had menus and guides available in the cabin. The property itself was beautiful and close by a lovely lake. My family enjoyed exploring the area and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. I highly recommend Lacie’s cabin without hesitation.

Very clean. Great setting for a cabin. Fairly remote & what we were looking for. Enjoyed the wildlife around the cabin. Great local advice from the owners family. Kitchen could be better stocked. Definetly eoykd return.

A special place in nature
A very cute, cozy cabin with a very thoughtful owner. The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable, all needs taken care of. The special touches by Lacie were greatly appreciated. There was a variety of coffee, creamers, everythjng t make smores, oatmeal, ice and bottles water to name a few of the items. I stayed with my husband and sister as part of our visit to Denali. It was cozy but also roomy enough for the three of us. The communication was great from booking to the end of our time. Perfect way to end our vacation.

The Moose Cabin, part of the Denali Wildlife Cabins, surpassed all expectations. It’s just a few miles from the entrance of Denali NP, but it feels like it’s own wonder in the wilderness. The cabin is spacious, well-equipped and gorgeous. Decor is spot-on Alaska. Great beds, great bathroom, snowy peaks right outside your window. We loved the firepit, the chairs to enjoy the stunning silence of Otto Lake early in the morning and a million stars. We didn’t see wildlife or the. Close to Denali Comfortable Cabin
We stayed here for two days / nights and loved every second. Without a doubt I will look here first if returning to Denali! The owners were extremely friendly and very happy to make our time while there memorable with all the extra features included. Please note there is no oven/range but two grills to feed hungry bellies after a long hiking day in Denali!

Great location for exploring Denali
We spent three nights at Moose cabin while we explored surrounding Healy and Denali. The cabin was clean, convenient, and comfortable. The grounds were also amazing. There is a short walk to a nearby lake where you can Smores or just enjoy the scenery. The owner was very attentive and responsive. We highly recommend.

Great cabin for exploring Denali!
The cabin was great for our family of 4. Lacie was a gracious hostess and there were lots of little goodies for us when we checked in. The views were beautiful and the place was brand new!! Very convenient location to Denali. Restaurants and grocery were also a short drive.

Denali Retreat
We had a great stay at the cabin. I was suprised how close they were to the Denali Park Entrance, about a 10 minute drive. The owner was beyond helpful and gracious. The cabin and the property were very clean and there were a lot of amenities. I would highly recommend this property!

Great cabin...excellent location
The cabin is brand new and very well appointed. The host is super responsive, welcoming, and willing to go out of her way to ensure a pleasant experience. The grounds are beautiful and the walk to Otto Lake is easy. The property location is perfect when visiting Denali National Park.
