While the pictures look great, do not be deceived. The pictures in this listing are from a real estate listing from April 2020, and do not reflect the current state or furnishings of the current home. When we first arrived at the property, upon opening the door, a strong stench of mold filled the air. First red flag, but we decided to open the doors and windows to let the home air out while we unpacked and settled in. Second red flag - every single window is painted shut. This is a huge safety concern, and is a code violation. As we start to load in our items and look around the property we realize that it does not look like the pictures (the stairwell is changed to the loft to a spiral staircase that is so rickety I was terrified to go up it), but I did and found a mildewy loft with an air unit that wasn't doing anything to cool the air. Plus, most of the furnishings were different than the pictures. The refrigerator was full of half eaten food and condiments, and the cabinets had half eaten food in them as well. The stove and burners looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The door to the washing machine only opened 6 inches until it hit a wall. There were beer cans and left over items from other guest under beds, in closets, and in random places. The first time we used the toilet, it wouldn't flush. Mold on walls. As we walked around, there were multiple places where the floor was so weaker and falling in that the flooring was cracking.

Great location, close to beach and folly restaurant’s. The house is an older house that could use a little tlc. The property manager was easily reachable and repaired the golf cart right away when we made them aware of some issues with it, it was a nice addition to be able to use it. We had adults, but would be great for families.

We loved the firepit and outdoor space. The house was close to the beach and a golf cart to shuttle us was included. Also appreciated that we were not presented with a chorelist at checkout. All around a great stay.

I realized I had not left a review of our stay; when I went to book again, this morning. Perfect location, perfect home, perfect everything. Our kids are grown but if you have little ones, they will be well entertained. There is a play structure in the fenced in back yard, and plenty of toys and books, in a little play area of the house. Also, you basically need to pack your clothes. This home is FULLY stocked. If you forget anything, it's there in a cabinet. There is even a docking station with cords for any make of cell phone. We are going to Charleston again April 2023. I wanted to rebook here, but it is booked up. Maybe I shouldn't leave such a good review...I'll never to be able to get another reservation, here....lol

Craig and Matt made the check in process very easy with a very helpful email prior to arrival. Once we got to the house, the kids immediately loved the back yard! Lots of fun activities for adults and children alike outside! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for the beach- toys, boogie boards, chairs, an umbrella, etc. The house is a few blocks from the beach so the golf cart and bikes were very handy!! Upon arrival, the house was very hot (81 degrees downstairs and MUCH warmer upstairs). It was a very warm day outside, so I do understand it’s hard for the air to keep up. However, it took all day and night for the house to reach 75 degrees. Craig was very responsive when we addressed the issue with him, but there was not much that could be done. We went to Walmart and purchased 3 fans to help the air move. The upstairs is closed in (unlike the pictures show) and has very low ceilings. While the children in our group loved it- it was not ideal for adults. The upstairs has its own A/C unit which did help, but on the hot days it remained very hot upstairs throughout the day. Overall we had a great stay and really enjoyed the beach. This appears to be older home that could use some updates (like MANY things in Folly Beach) but was nice and well equipped! We made great memories and enjoyed a relaxing week.

Never stayed owner canceled reservation within 2 hours of our arrival. My grandchildren and I were in tears. Worse experience I ever had.

The loft left a little to be desired as it was not as pictured. The property does not have a pull out couch as was also stated in the write up. The manager was very responsive and quick to handle any issues or needs we had. Would stay at this vrbo again.
