Nestled in Lake Lure, this attractive house for $287 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This gorgeous, upscale townhome sits on a ridge overlooking the lake in the Town of Lake Lure which was chosen by Southern Living as the #1 lake town in the South! With stunning lake & mountain views and a convenient location across from the Lake Lure Beach and one mile from Chimney Rock State Park, this townhome is the perfect spot for a mountain lake vacation. You can walk to the beach and nearby restaurants from this townhome and if you're attending an event at the Lake Lure Inn, you can walk there as well. On the main floor is the living/dining area, kitchen and a half bath. A French door leads to the outside covered porch with a gas grill, furnished for dining and with gorgeous up close views of the lake. On the lower floor are two master suites, one with a king bed and a Smart TV and one with a queen bed and a TV with Roku. Each bedroom has a private attached full bath. Both bedrooms open out into a second covered porch with a swing and outdoor furniture overlooking Lake Lure. There is also a washer and dryer on the lower floor. Our kitchen is thoughtfully equipped to prepare a meal and comes with pots and pans, both casual and formal china, glasses, flatware and every utensil we could think of. We also provide a starter supply of coffee and coffee filters and basic spices. Sorry, but the garage is not included in the rental. There are 2 guest parking spaces at the entrance to the home. While we rarely have heavy snows, if you are coming to the mountains in winter or early spring, you must be prepared for the possibility of some ice and/or snow. NOTE: We follow CDC and WHO recommendations for sanitizing procedures and products. Due to the Coronavirus, we're taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Spectrum internet was installed in 2024, and we are very pleased with their service. Note that this home is located in a mountainous area, and we have occasional power outages. We cannot be held responsible for possible electrical power outages, internet connection, or cell phone reception, as these are circumstances are beyond our control, and no refunds will be given.

The location is great. The townhouse is very nice. It's definitely a 4 adult place with 2 beds total. For us it was perfect. While it was cold (Thanksgiving) you can definitely get an idea of how great the warmer months are. You don't need to be "on the fence" with this place. It's a good value for a great place.

Home was very nicely decorated and stocked very well. More room than we expected. The beds were both very comfortable. The back deck and ground level porch were great for relaxing and taking in the views, especially Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. The location was convenient for short treks around the area. The only minor complaint was that the sofa and loveseat were not comfortable for us (seniors).

What a great property. We loved the views, the location, and the decor. Waking up with coffee on the deck looking at the lake and Chimney Rock or winding down on the deck with a wine or beer looking at the lake and Chimney Rock, it is a win win place. We woukd stay here again!

We enjoyed being able to walk to multiple restaurants and the marina. The home really felt like home! It was so well appointed and relaxing. The selection of books, DVDs, and the view from the patio made us sad to leave. The cherry on the top was the excellent communication and customer service provided by the hosts! We will visit again.

This property was amazing! The location was close to wonderful restaurants as well as lake lure beach. The interior was clean and welcoming. The kids loved the decks overlooking the lake. Will definitely book again.

Beautifully decorated & perfect for a Work-from-home vacation! We loved our 7 night stay at this beautifully decorated and comfortable home. Having read all the other reviews, I will only briefly comment that this is probably the best-decorated and most comfortable VRBO home that we have experienced, and focus on one item that no other reviewers mentioned. My husband worked for the entire week while we were here, and loved the desk with the pull out keyboard tray and comfortable chair in the Master bedroom. He also loved the beautiful view out of the window behind the desk. We both found that our two different cell-phone providers worked fine here (Verizon and AT&T) and we had no problems at all with internet coverage or even streaming Zoom meeting video calls. The location is great and the view of the mountains from both the living room and both bedrooms is fantastic. The kitchen is well stocked, with upgraded appliances. We also really enjoyed the swing on the porch. What a sweet addition! This home is really ideal for 2-4 people if you are looking to visit the area.

We were blown away by this property from the minute we walked in the door. It’s very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The location could not be better for enjoying what chimney rock and lake lure have to offer. We especially appreciated being walking distance from the Lured and La Strada restaurants, as well as being able to take a walk around the lake at a moments notice. And the hosts were super quick to respond to messages which is always a plus. We will definitely be back!!

This condo was so perfect for our weekend stay in town for a wedding. Everything from linens, to kitchen to decor were all top quality. The kitchen had everything we needed. The views were incredible and little touches like well labeled light switches and easy to follow directions made it awesome. We can’t wait to plan another visit!

We thought this condo was lake front. It is not and that is my mistake. I didn’t look closely at the photos. If I had, I would have seen none showing that view. About fifty feet in front of the unit is U.S. hwy 74, the main road from the Lake Lure area to Asheville. Needless to say, it carries a lot of traffic - autos,small trucks ( no18 wheelers ) ,and cowboys on motorcycles. I had hoped to sit on the porch and look at the lake and read a book,but the noise was just too much. You can see a small part of the lake across the road, then across a city park.The lake beyond has a marina with many boats . The condo itself is very nice , clean with everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Study photos carefully in all VRBO offerings, because if you don’t see, it ain’t there.

We had such a wonderful time in Lake Lure and a lot of it was due to our stay here. The location was extremely convenient for us as we attended a wedding at Lake Lure Inn and it was the perfect distance from the venue as well as close proximity to the beach and hiking. Wineries were also only a short drive away. The property was absolutely gorgeous, clean, with air conditioning and beautiful outdoor patios with a view out into the mountains. We ended up bringing our four month old with for his first trip away from home and it was very comfortable. The main living area and kitchen was larger than we expected. The bedrooms were spacious and each had their own en-suite bathrooms so we didn’t bother the other couple we were staying with. The hosts were also very responsive and accommodating from the time of booking throughout our stay. Overall, we had such a great time and definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lake Lure!

What a great getaway for our family. Our kids loved the house, and said the the beds were more comfortable then their own. We were able to enjoy excursions at Chimey Rock (amazing views), kayaking and tubing at Lake Lure, fun restaurants and more. We can’t wait to come back!
