It is a very clean, nicely furnished cottage, smoke/vape-free, pet/animal-free, central heating/air, with free off-street parking, and is located 10 minutes from downtown Fairhope. Property is conveniently located to all the main attractions of the Gulf Coast area. Only 20 minutes from Alabama's newest amusement park (OWA), and Tanger Shopping Mall. House is near the H. L. Sonny Callahan public use airport; just 5 minutes to salt and freshwater fishing, 8 minutes to Quail Creek golf course, 30 minutes to the sugar-white Gulf Shores beaches, 30 minutes to Mobile, Alabama and less than an hour to Pensacola, Florida. The property is boat friendly, and free public boat launches are readily available. Golfing, biking, hiking, tennis, salt and freshwater fishing, kayaking, and boating are all popular activities in Fairhope. Furnishings include 1 queen-size bed, over-the-stove microwave, washer/dryer. This property also features free off-street parking, a spacious patio with a pergola and swing in a secluded yard. If golf is on your list of things to do, there are many alluring golf courses close by to challenge your skills. For those who love to shop, there are the quaint shops in downtown Fairhope. Other attractions are the Alabama Coastal Birdfest (October), in the fall, Mardis Gras (before Lent), and the Arts and Crafts Festival (March), in the spring. It is a short drive to the casinos on the Gulf Coast (Mississippi/Alabama). Fairhope "town square" is a bay-front property with 1/4-mile pier extending over Mobile Bay, swimming, picnicking, landscaped rose garden, benches, restrooms, marina, restaurant, walking trails and duck pond are a part of it, and it is open 24 hours, and there are no fees. The sunsets are spectacular over the bay waters. A wonderful stay. Farm fields all around and very close to beautiful downtown Fairhope. The owner Tessie was so nice and accommodating. Will be back.

Tessie was a great hostess. The cottage is in a lovely country setting. Had everything we needed to be comfortable and kitchen was well supplied. Laundry also very convenient. Do be aware there is no Wi-Fi. That information is in the VRBO listing and it was my fault for missing that. We enjoyed our stay and Fairhope is a great little town to see!

We enjoyed our stay at (Villa Piccolo) so nice and such Italian feel. We loved it and looking forward to go back to the same place next vacation. Tessie is the perfect host, Thank you for your hospitality.

If you're looking for a place to relax this is definitely the place to be. I loved sitting out on the large, covered porch. It had a small table and a swing. The inside was quaint and extremely clean. Although somewhat secluded it was only a short drive to the downtown area. The host lives next door but did not intrude on us at all. We had to invite her to sit down with us and tell her the history of the place. My husband and I have already decided to come back to the same place next year. We loved it!

Our stay at Tessie's Rentals at Guest House
The Guest House was a wonderful surprise, set in the country near everything. The house was beautifully decorated, it was so clean, comfortable and relaxing. The outside pergolas, swings and gardens were beautiful. Our host Tessie, was so nice and made us feel right at home. This was by far, the best cottage we have stayed at. I highly recommend Tessie's Rentals.

My Husband and I came to celebrate our birthdays. Tessie and her beautiful home went way above our expectations. The one bedroom we rented was decorated so beautifully and the gradens and sitting area was perfect. I so loved sitting in the swing and watching the birds, as I drank my coffee each morning. I think my husband best described it as being on vacation but being able to sleep in your own bed!! We were blown away with the hospitality of the owner and staff. It was perfect and we will be back with other family members.

My Temporary Home
Tessie's Guest House has been the perfect place for me to make my temporary home. I am building a house nearby and needed a place to stay between the time I sold my Tennessee home and the time my new home was completed. A planned two month stay turned to three before I left Tennessee and has now become four. Tessie has been very understanding and accommodating through the reservation changes. During my entire stay, the Guest House has felt cozy and welcoming - comfy bed and cozy living room and everything I needed in the kitchen. Having the washer and dryer available just across the breezeway has been a real blessing - most of my clothes are in storage in Tennessee. The outdoor space is lovely and I'm excited to be using it more since the heat and humidity of summer are turning into cooler fall days. It is just a short drive to reach my family in nearby towns and to see the sights or shop in Fairhope, Daphne and Spanish Fort.

Tessie's properties are a hidden jewel.
This property was perfect for us. It is located is a rural setting and not in the middle of the commercialized tourist rat race. It is an easy drive to Fairhope and all it has to offer. There are multiple dwellings on the property which would accommodate multiple families or friends for a get together.

The Guest House is the perfect place to stay! Very clean and well kept. Tessie was extremely welcoming and treated us like we already knew each other! The house is a short drive away from the Bay or Coast. Tessie also leaves a TON of area entertainment information right there in your rental which is perfect for anyone looking for what to do on your visit. We will definitely be booking here again I'm the future.
