Beautiful location in the mountains. Spacious.
Apartments are old and very cramped especially the living area. Needs a revamp. Kids activities needs to be improved.

Great breakfast, great location. Roads leading up to the resort are reasonable. Plenty of activities on site. Even though some parts of the units can be updated, on the whole the unit and all crockery, cutlery etc. were all very clean! A very pleasant stay and hope to be back (provided the prices are reasonable). Staff very friendly and helpful. Onsite shop for essentials is very useful!
Didn't spend enough time at the resort to enjoy all facilities.

Venue is amazing, most staff are friendly and helpful.
Hiking trails are good.
Price of breakfast is ridiculous even for a 4 star lodge, compared to other 4 star lodges nothing to brag about and double the price.
Remote for the TV was not working.
On arrival (6:30pm) receptionist wasn’t friendly and inviting.

Well placed with beautiful Mountain View. Chalets are quite comfortable although a little small.
Only one pool table for a place with 100 chalets. People having noisy party. Had to call reception after 10pm to complain. Buffet supper at R 250 per person is definitely not to a 4 stars standard.

Wood from shop was wet. Plates was dirty from previous people.

The entire stay was excellent. The breakfast on the 17th July 2023 morning was excellent and it met all the requirements from Excellent Meals to Friendly Chef and Staff.
On Friday 14th July 2023,we spent the evening at Muzo's Bar and we were not pleased to note that we were overcharged for our Meals and Drinks by R500.
This was queried and resolved and the R 500 was credited, however, it does beg the question as to how many guest are over charged and the bills are unchecked. This requires further investigation.
Furthermore, the Room TV Remote's never worked which was rather frustrating and the Chalets were not equipped with Ashtrays.

i liked the chalet and where it was positioned, enjoyed the braai and the hike and the swimming pool as well as horse riding.
towels were not all returned, dish washing soap and shower gel was not refilled and telephone was not working so we struggled to contact reception

Some activities were awesome like archery, paintball and horse riding. The accommodation was comfortable & clean. staff was friendly. The dam was beautiful. gorgeous views of the mountains. peaceful. The easter egg hunt was fair. each child collected eggs & placed it back in the basket where the bunny shared the eggs equally.
There wasn't a wide variety of food. I felt that the menu was very limited.
More entertainment was needed for the easter weekend. Buffet menu should be highlighted so guests can be enthusiastic. The village market was very expensive. Tv needs to be upgraded to smart tv so guests can watch netflix after a long day of activities. although there is a jungle gym and water slide for the kids, the resort needs swings.

Lots of activities for the kids. Great for family holidays.
Staff need more training in customer care. Cleaning lady did not do a good job in cleaning the kitchen.

The kids programme, the restaurant service, the pool and overall the location is a beautiful place
Definitely value for money- whether friends or family with kids
The bikes we hired were old and the chains kept falling off
The lights in the room are extremely bright to be used as bedside lamps
And it was extremely hot

Peaceful surrounding .enjoyed activities. Loved the scenery. Enjoyed the paintball and horse riding. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
We ordered meal at bar. It was very cold . Also if you went late for breakfast . Good was cold.

The staff were very friendly and pleasant
The food was good
The daily planned activities were very entertaining and enjoyable
The pool was clean
Lots of activities to do i e table tennis, volleyball, put put, etc
On check in there was someone to help with getting luggage to our chalet
The chalets are outdated
- noisey old ceiling fans, no air-conditioning
- paint peeling of the walls , marks on the walls
- blinds are falling apart in the kitchen
- lighting is dim
- carpets are musty and old
- the bathrooms in our chalet had a very bad odour coming from the toilet- this was apparently related to the sewer- first thing we smelt on entering the chalet-very unpleasant
Insects are a problem - would be nice to have some citronella candles or electric insect traps in each chalet

Location, views, friendly staff, prompt service and activities for children.
Carpets in bedrooms.
6.0
location, very tranquil and serene place to distress and unwind
too little activities for kids , two swimming pools in one place for entire resort , one jungle gym for kids , this place requires more play areas and swimming pools in different locations to avoid being clammed up in one place …. MORE OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES!

The staff were all really friendly and helpful.
The music bar was efficient and fairly priced
Beautiful and peaceful surroundings.
Decent effort in keeping the young visitors entertained
The units may benefit from having air conditioning. The heat was stifling at night.
Don’t forget to bring your own meat, it’s ridiculously priced at the store. All other supplies have an acceptable premium slapped on.
3.0
The activities were exceptionally planned and it made being at the Resort so exciting
The cleanliness of the bedding. Stained and not well placed on the bed. It seemed like the duvet inners and covers did not match.
The carpets were extremely dirty.
The curtains were dirty.
The kitchen was clean but the bin was not cleaned daily.
The toilet was not cleaned properly daily.
The staff at EVERY restaurant were lazy and slow and usually quite rude, especially at the coffee shop.
Pizza was inconsistently made.. same pizza on different days had different quality of toppings.
Food is imperative since options are limited.
Convenience store was the worst part of staying there as NOTHING has prices and staff get annoyed when asked for prices.
Please advertise prices so we know your staff is not just giving us random prices as some things were beyond exorbitant in price. 1 litre of water was R48? Shocking prices.
The Convenience store is a certainly a gimmick to extort money from guests. Not impressed with the store.
