Great hotel in great location.

Room was very spacious and the staff were very nice.

Breakfast was always the same, we stayed for 4 nights and we got fed up of the bacon sausages and scrambled eggs, they could at least put some ham and cheese so you can opt for a light toast or change the eggs from scrambled to boiled or fried somedays. Plates mugs and cutlery where not cleaned properly, had to change the mug and the knife on 2 occasions.

Overall, still quite a peasant stay experience.

The location of the hotel is good, close to tourist attractions. Breakfast provided is decent.

Housekeeping was busy and didn’t attend to our room during our 3 day stay. Ran out of some amenities like toilet paper on our last day. Would be good to provide room slippers especially during winter.

Room is way too dark, no true laundry service option. Door access card was very problematic.

Location. Was very Central and within waking distance to all major point of interests, room is decent and clean. Breakfast spread is also pretty good.

Great location; very basic hotel

The location is excellent. Extremely convenient to most tourist locations in the city. You can walk to the castle, to Holyrood, or to Grassmarket. This also means there are excellent restaurants nearby.

We chose this property specifically because it said there was parking available, but the parking arrangement is actually a separately-owned garage, which is two blocks away, across a relatively busy intersection. While you can get a discount if you are staying at the hotel, the parking is not free. There is a loading area in front of the hotel, but it is usually taken up by the hotel van, and the side street nearby prohibits parking next to the hotel. All of this would have been really helpful to know before I arrived.

Good location, not clean enough!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is quite good. It is just 2 minutes walking distance to Royal mile. Breakfast was so so.

The air conditioner of the room wasn't working properly. The room was cold and can not make it hotter with AC. Probably before us a guest with a dog stayed at the room. And house keeping didn't clean the room well. Every where on the carpet and on the couch there were dog hair. The room was not clean enough.

Mostly stayed in bed recovering from my flight

Went down early asked for bacon and sausage. Sausage over done, bacon underdone

I wanted near Princesse Street, but it was so far away as I am disabled I had to pay for taxis every time I wanted to go to that area

Overall facilities In good shape. It’s elevator was very slow and seemed difficult to make a decision up or down.

Not worth the money.

Location- very close to the Royal Mile, shops/restaurants

Way too expensive for a tiny room. This hotel also charges to store bags. If you’re paying almost £500 a night, you’d think they could extend courtesy storage.

great location just off Royal mile but still quiet in the nights.

was just unlucky to have screaming children next door but I got to change quickly to another room, so staff were super! just next time: dont put children in a room that has a door between them and other guests.. Also breakfast buffee could include more , like for ex boiled eggs, fried mushrooms and tomatoes , cucumber

Average hotel experience.

Good location, Staff were polite, Check in/out was very smooth. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of towel in the room.

No drinking water in the room. No hand wash in the bathroom and very little body wash. We had to request for this twice before we were given a replacement.

I like the decor of the room the staff were freindly and helpful and was very well situated to all the attractions would definitely choose this hotel again
