Paid extra for a substandard room

Close vicinity to southern cross station

What we paid and what we got did not equate to a good outcome. The room was pokey, smallest TV I have ever encountered. Bed mattress one of the most uncomfortable and I’ve slept on many motel mattresses, here and overseas, and this was one of the poorest. Noisy air conditioner, noisy cold water tap hand basin, turn it on sounded like a murder mystery sound effect!!

Small budget accommodation in the city center

Good location

Very small, pokey and dark, no flooring in the hallway it was just concrete, one small window for the whole room. Would be okay for one night but wouldn't stay longer. Property hasnt been maintained or cared for.

Cleanliness, there was blood on my bed sheet, missing vent in the shower, pillow was flat. Just overall unkept and dingy looking rooms, which was not worth the price

Dissapointed that wasn’t advised of building works. It’s not a new build so hotel would be well aware of noise

Close to train station

No notice on booking site to advise of current building works next door. Woke to a Jack hammer, grinder and tradies talking at 7 am 😞 Then fell back to sleep to wake up to cleaning staff talking loudly outside my door at 9:30am. Was hoping to take advantage of the 11am checkout. Chair in room was heavily stained. Toilet didn’t fully flush.

Alles war sauber und die Lage war relativ gut, am Rande des Zentrums und innerhalb der free tram zone.

Die Unterkunft ist insgesamt schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise abgenutzt. Für eine Bewertung mit 10 Punkten bekommt man einen kostenlosen late Check-Out - das hat einen nicht so guten Beigeschmack hinterlassen.

Quiet, comfortable bed, large room.

Small, crowded reception. Location of hotel felt very unsafe at night. Unable to ensure security of bags when left at reception prior to check-in. Bags were not labelled - anyone could have collected someone else’s luggage. Felt there needed to be a process ensuring bags were identified with receipt to owner like at many other cbd hotels.

The location. Close to Southern Cross Station so easy access to get in/out of airport.

Booking.com says this hotel was 4 stars but it is actually 3 at best. The room was extremely very very small. There were NO views from this room just other buildings walls. The tv was like a work monitor, the cleaning was not very well done. Lights were dusty, there was a stain on the ceiling that looked like pasta sauce!..the toilet wasnt as clean as expected, the soap dispenser didnt work, the shower head was leaking and falling down. Old decor but in somewhat good condition, but still old and tired looking, in the room and around the lobby, lift and hallways. The restaurant was closed as well. The rating of this hotel should be revised.

It was alright.

The location, surroundings are full of facilities

No dental kit provided (have to pay $2 for it), room wasn't ready when I arrived despite I booked the room couple of days earlier of my arrival, no complementary water in the room, no tea/coffee whitener provided. Technically all I got after paying $242 for 2 nights was just a room (which you can get in motel or Air BnB etc). No room service either, have to go down to reception for every little thing. Even to pick up a dental kit.

Tiny rooms pictures very misleading , odd smell in corridor, poor information regarding parking before arriving, lifts are tacky and held together with tape.
