Lage etwas abgelegen. Die Zufahrt zum Ressort insbesondere bei Regen nur etwas für geübte Rollerfahrer. Meer bei Ebbe aufgrund Felsen schwierig zugänglich. Wegen Hanglage viele Stufen zu bewältigen. Für Leute mit körperlichem Handicap oder kleinen Kindern a.m.S. weniger geeignet. Preise im Vergleich zu anderen, ähnlichen Ressorts zu hoch.

The setting of this property is amazing, set on a secluded beach with the most amazing views. The food here is some of the best we had in Thailand and getting to enjoy it on the beach watching the sun setting was spectacular.

Das Beste war der Meerblick.
Der Bungalow war alt und abgewohnt. Die Bilder im Netz entsprechen nicht den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten. Die Toilettenbrille hatte seine Jahre und Benutzer hinter sich. Die Couch war durchgesessen. Die Tür zur Dusche ging nicht zu. Das Fenster im Bad war defekt. Der Fernseher war zwar top aber das Internet war so schlecht, dass man nichts empfangen konnte. Der Pool war ein Witz, keine Sonnenschirme. Das Restaurant war ungepflegt, überall stand etwas herum. Die Anlage braucht dringend ein Makeover.

Прекрасные семейные номера с огромной террасой выходящей прямо на море и закат. Бассейн работал и после заката. Ужины на пляже с грилем и свежими морепродуктами - восхитительны. Пляж с шезлонгами, качельками, игрушками для детей и деревьями - дающими тень. Каяки и мотобайки в прокат. На северном конце пляжа - место удобное для снорклинга даже в отлив. Душевный персонал. Хорошие завтраки.
В отлив напротив отеля невозможно купаться совсем. Грунтовая дорога от основной дороги до отеля (300 метров примерно) очень ухабиста и проходит вдоль обрыва, а в дожди ее размывает. Дерево на берегу перекрывает своей кроной вид на закат из бассейна - это конечно мелочи)))

Loved that dinner was set up on the beach every night. Wonderful beach that the resort is right on, gorgeous views & sunsets.
Only instant coffee, no espresso machine. Would prefer if you got a total after each meal (& the special dinners weren't priced); difficult to keep track of your total for the end of your stay.

Koh Jum Resort hat unsere Erwartungen definitiv übertroffen. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend und der Strand ein Traum. Service wird hier ganz groß geschrieben. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir vermissen diesen Ort jetzt schon und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
Da das Resort mitten in der Natur liegt, wurde es nachts dementsprechend etwas lauter und das ein oder andere Tier hat sich in das Bungalow geschlichen.

This island has a very special place in my heart, so this was my second visit. Yes, from the U.S. all the way to this tiny island twice! I travel alone, and the property manager was clearly looking out for me the first time. So I went back a second time! On my first visit, they were working hard to recover from the Covid era, and I truly felt their plight. They had finished some projects and made some improvements the second visit and I hope they succeed. Feel wild and safe at the same time here! The private beach is rocky, but just put on some water shoes and swim anyway. The water is calm and pleasant. You can also walk to the end of the dirt road for a public beach that’s still tranquil with very few (if any) people for less rocks.

La disponibilità del personale nel soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. Il ristorante è ottimo (uno dei migliori dell’isola) con prezzi ottimi considerando di essere in un resort. Drink molto buoni. Posto non rumoroso e quindi l’obiettivo è il relax.
Possibilità di organizzare delle gite nelle altre isole e la possibilità di noleggiare biciclette e scooter.
Il servizio Wi-Fi che è piuttosto carente. Scarsa capacità di parlare inglese di alcuni componenti dello staff ma ci sono 3/4 persone (tra cui il manager, persona gentilissima) che lo sanno parlare e sanno risolvere ogni problema/necessità con prontezza.
La spiaggia fronte hotel non è esattamente il top però noleggiando un motorino potrete visitare l’isola dove suggeriamo Golden Pearl Beach.

This was exactly what I was looking for!
Remote location yet with all the comfort (fridge, wifi, hot water…). The closeness to the beach, the linens, cushions and bed so comfy, the staff vers helpful and friendly. The pool for the day the see was too rough. The jungle feeling and view from bungalow. The quietness and the good breakfast. Feels authentic and very realaxing.
The sound of climatisation of other bungalows. The music playlist of restaurant wasn’t varied enough.

Our bungalow had two stylish en-suite bedrooms with an interconnecting door; the view from our private balcony across the sea to Koh Phi Phi was breathtaking, especially at sunset. We loved splashing around in the pool as a fun alternative to the sea, and walking along the beach looking out for hermit crabs and monkeys. Many thanks to Mr Ko and his wonderful staff for making our stay so comfortable.

The location of the resort is beautiful! Rooms overlook the quiet beach and you can see an incredible sunset! Infinity pool which also looks over the beach. Staff are really nice and the owner made sure to go the extra mile for me on my birthday with complimentary wine and cocktails! Restaurant staff are really attentive and nothing is too much for them. Rooms are spacious and clean, bathroom comes with an actual bath!! The island is super quiet and chill, perfect for what we were looking for.
The road to get to the resort is a little treacherous so be careful on a bike or on foot!!

We were on Koh Jum island during the quiet season and it was certainly that. We knew it would be a tranquil place to stay from reviews so we were well prepared as wanted exactly that. There were only a few other guests and I was amazed the Resort were able to provide such an amazing service on this basis. The food was fantastic and the staff were friendly and excellent. From the previous reviews we picked the Premier Beach Front Villa (room 600) which was perfect. We spent a restful week here and the manager Mr O excelled at everything particularly organising scooters, massages and boat trips for us. We can’t thank the Resort team enough for our blissful week. A few things to note though; don’t be afraid of the lizards that wander the rooms and there are a lot of steps to keep you fit! The beach is perfect at high tide and the sunsets are spectacular. I didn’t spot any jellyfish when swimming at the times Mr O recommended. All in all, the most incredible stay and one I would highly recommend.

This place is right at the beach with beautiful sunsets. Its great there is a pool too. The rooms were ok, the bed was ok, the airco functioned well (although the doors don't close we still managed to get the rooms cool) and the bathroom had a hot shower with decent water pressure.
When we were here the resort was renovating and there was quite some construction going on, so we had to walk through construction debris to reach the toilet next to the pool for instance. They use the two adjacent plots as a dump site. In the restaurant half the food was not available when we were here, which caused some issues as sometimes they only told us 20 minutes after we ordered something. The resort seems to focus on Thai/Asian tourists rather than Westerners, which lead to some misunderstandings. For example they very proudly presented us with nescafe (but we would prefer actual coffee) and made us very neutral meals as they thought we would not like spicy, but this was improved when we discussed it. The staff generally seems to just sit out their time, either looking at their phones or cleaning the glasses for the 10th time, but they try to avoid questions as they don't speak English (except for the manager but he was approaching is mostly at inconvenient times as for example in the pool when he was making many compliments on our daughter). They don't seem to mean bad, but are not very helpful either, for example when we left they all came to say goodbye, but did not help with the luggage..
The beach in front of the resort mostly has rocks for which it is inconvenient for swimming during low tide, there is no/very little coral for snorkeling.

at low tide it is a rocky beach but when tide in it is perfect for swimming… a lovely hidden gem.

Views are amazing and the showers may be the best in Thailand.
The beds are very hard. The breakfast at the restaurant is pretty average. It's at it's best when they are serving thai food. If you like spicy food you need to ask for it, otherwise they assume foreigners don't want any spice.

the Overall Resort is run down and shabby. the pool is rather small. the restaurant also very disappointing. the road to get there is very sketchy.

They have shuttle to help you to come from the port. They have driver to help for the way to the hotel and carried our luggage. The manager is helpful and make our stay upgraded for a nice price. Good room good best view ever and quiet place to relax. Nice bathroom and clean room 👌 perfect air-conditioning. I surely recommend

The view from the delux room was exceptional
Breakfast was terrible, one toaster for the whole resort. The selection was awful. We went to a local cafe (pop up café) just around the corner, where Valerie sorted us out with great food.
The maids didn't have a key to our room, so had to wait for us to be in the room to tidy it (the room was only cleaned twice in 4 days) but they did a very good job.
The resort was needing money investing in it and looked tired. paint was peeling off, the kitchen looked dirty, the bar had been closed down. I could go on.
The manager at no point welcomed us with a warm greeting, only when they tried to sell us dinner on the beach did they flash a smile.
Koh Jum is a beautiful place, where the people are super friendly and will do anything to help you.....sadly this resort didn't give off the same feeling.

beachfront, quiet, sunset views, beautiful property and lovely staff. I would recommend the property again but I would suggest not to get the room we did (grand beachfront villa) unless that is what you’re looking for.
while we had a great holiday and loved the property overall, we were extremely disappointed with our room. we got the grand beachfront villa, expecting a quiet location with ocean views and it was not as expected. only one window showed the ocean, one was blocked by the roof of the new bar they are building (it was also still a building site) and the third window faced the breakfast area & pool - so no privacy and the waterfall from the pool blocked out all sounds of the ocean (i think they are meant to turn it off at night but they did not do it every night). the photos they use online for this room are old and therefore misleading (even the bed faces a different way now so while you lie in the bed you face the main area with pool and lobby and breakfast… needless to say we kept that curtain closed almost the whole time). while this room is on the beachfront it should really be described as beachfront & poolside & barside - not the quiet secluded room we were hoping for, and not worth the extra money we splashed out on! possibly okay for families with kids who want to be next to all the action. the resort was full so they were not able to give us an alternative room, and did not offer a discount or allow us a refund so we could switch hotels. they gave some discounts on meals but that doesn’t really make up the cost differential and overall we would have had a nicer trip if we had got a cheaper room with better view. photos uploaded show the inside of the room with the one ocean view window, the bathroom and two of the window views from the room (as there is a limit on what I can upload).

We booked a villa bungalow with a hot tub on the balcony. It was a beautiful view and feeling to sit in the hot tube and have a view over the ocean.
The personal is absolute useless! The chef was the only person who did all the work. The staff in the restaurant was standing there, doing nothing, after the dinner the dirty dishes stood on the table until the chef came and took them away. The other „girls“ were only standing there doing nothing. They can‘t speak english very well, sometimes it was really difficult to understand. The resort was very old, I think the pictures here are very old, too. Small breakfast, nothing special.. and NO SCOOTERS for rent. That was a problem, because the road to the resort is really heavy.

The location was quite nice. The bungalows had incredible views of the sea and there were few mosquitos in the evening so you could enjoy sitting outside on the balcony. The balcony was also spacious. The bungalows themselves had a nice design and air conditioning, though the aircon did need some maintenance.
The bed. I typically enjoy a firmer mattress but this bed was even too firm for me. For folks who need a softer mattress, this wouldn’t be a great long stay location. Also, the beach, while beautiful and clean, was rocky and made swimming difficult during low tide.

We were offered a room that was completely molded - no matter what the reasons are « we had a wet season, it was Covid » this is not what I paid for. The place is dirty and completely falling apart - the excuse of Covid is getting old considering you have been opening for a long time again and you have no problem selling over priced rooms.
The staff is totally un-trained, seriously which kind of awful managers would put people who do not speak a word of English at the front desk? Not trained to customer service either, smiles are scarce and support is minimal.
The food at the restaurant was bad, lacking essential ingredients and spices - eg Papaya salad which was not spicy at all, I know I am not Thai but I still am able to appreciate good Thai food and I would like to be asked whether I want bland spice less food rather than be given it by default because I’m white.
The sales manager bribed me - he made me promise to put him a 10/10 on Booking.com if I wanted to be refunded for the 2 nights that I did not spend at the hotel (left after 1 night instead of 3 as there are amazing options around) considering the mold. Seriously consider yourself lucky that I did not ask for a refund of the awful night I spent in that hell, I’m grateful though for the booking.com support who helped me get out of there.

Peacefull, quiet, relaxed resort surrounded by a tropical forrest with monkeys to be spotted and the calming sound of the waves of the sea surround you day- and night!
It gives an authentic “ back to basic” feeling to stay in the lovely cottages.
Great Thai food is served all day, lovingly prepared by the incredible kind and helpfull staff!
manager Mitao does everything to make your stay a memorable and unique experience!

nice view from the wrong room as booked
we had booked a 60 m2 room and for on 20 m2 room, however the host was not able to change contract and so we needed to cancel all, to get our money back.
