Very good

Excellent location. We could leave our vehicle at this property and walk to the center of the city. Nice park to walk through. At the time it was under renovations but it did not hinder our stay.

Nothing alarmingly bad but kind of disappointing

The location in a beautiful park nearby the city center of Horsens and close to the highway was very good. The room was spacious enough, the bed was really comfortable and on the ground floor. Have been there before when it was Scandic who owned the place and it seems that it is getting slightly better with Comwell.

First of all, we didn´t receive any information about the hotel was under reconstruction. There were noise and closed entrances etc. It seemed like the hotel didn´t want to inform their guests to make sure they didn´t cancel their reservation. The breakfast was served in a somewhat boring conference room, due to the remodelling, apparently, of the restaurant. Still a pity when you book a hotel from the architectural features, which is the case with an old estate from the 1700s. On top of this, the buns at the breakfast buffet was boring bake-off. Actually the rest of the breakfast was delicious but the buns were really boring and dry. It didn´t live up to the standard this kind of hotel should have.

"Older" staff was really nice.

The younger staff was unconcerned and not serviceminded. Duvet was dirty and stained - luckily the duvet cover was clean

Good

They had a very nice variety of items to choose from and was very good.

The rooms were fairly small and the floors creaked quite a bit. I am a very light sleeper so that was not the best.

The hotel was obviously going through a phase of refurbishment and had some staffing issues on such a busy weekend. This

very grand building with beautiful grounds. The staff were very polite and helpful. Beds were really comfortable

No tea and coffee making facilities in rooms. Some corridors in another wing had kettles etc but we did not. Ran out of fresh bread at breakfast and there were only rolls left. Coffee machine also ran out, in spite of being in the dining room one hour before breakfast actually finished.

Very good

Hotel has improved so much since Comwell took over. The staff are so friendly and helpful and its obvious they are so happy working there. Everytime I visit there are improvements and I cant wait to see it once the renovations are completed.

Pet friendly accomodation

Location was perfect for the city and sea. Dogs were very welcome.

No food or drink served on Sundays!

Very friendly service, nice breakfast

Pillows not very comfortable, noisy device (water-pump?) working in the night. Hard to find a proper rest.

Good hotel for higher price

The brekfast was really good (except coffee, but yeah, typical Danish). I appreciate the cleaning service on demand.

I was accomodated in the old stabbles house which is pretty far away from the dinning room. The bed was quite narrow.

Super comfy and definetly recommend

Everything was spot on. Reception was very helpful including our cykel parking. Rooms very comfortable, good shower, lovely beds with clean linen. I liked the fact that the buildings were old and cosy. Definetly recommend this hotel.

Location, cleanliness and the staff.

The food at the restaurant was really bad. Small room and no air conditioning. Very expensive but not worth the money!

Great sleep, not the best breakfast

The hotel itself is very beautiful and in a beautiful park. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and the staff is usefulness and very nice.

The shower had a very little pressure and was not great. The breakfast was worse- undercooked eggs, hard yesterday's bread. Generally the breakfast is not comparable to other hotels and I would recommend if staying sati elsewhere.

Ok stay, but expect more from Scandic

Very friendly workers on the reception. Nice location. Ok clean rooms

The hotel had weeding and another party with loud music well into the night. We called after 01.00 a.m. and asked to turn down the music. It was swutched off. It should not be necessary. Hotels should follow certain standards and not allow loud music after 23.00. Breakfast had many option, but was not very tasty
