The hotel has multiple facilities, like swiming pool, restaurant, bar, etc. And the interior design is pleasant.
It is not near any attractions or service centers. You may need to call a taxi or drive to your destination, as the taxi driver advised us that walking alone is not safe, especially at night.

The reception staff were friendly and the bedroom was large and spacious. That’s all the positives I can think of right now.
Negatives: there were so so so so so many
Asked for a quiet room, instead I Had builders work in the rooms directly below, side and above my room from as early as 8.30am, working all day. Hammering, drilling, banging, other building noises. There were plenty of vacant rooms available but they decided to put me were all the room maintenance work was going on because quiet means the opposite here. Also, god, the music was so so sooooo loud, pretty much 24/7. It was louder within the hotel because they would pump it in for some reason, than it was outside. Again quiet means the opposite here.
The fridge. Made awful loud noises throughout the night. So had no fridge on tri
The Amenities, no spa, no shuttle to sister hotel in Port Louis, no water activities during weekdays, no a lot of things. No beach. No beach access. Nearest beach is 20min taxi ride away at a cost of £40ish. Actually nearest beach is closer (as advertised) however no access to it and it’s full of rubbish. When you look at the amenities section, bare that in mind.
LOCATION is terrible. Do not stay here if you want to hang out at the beach, unless you have rented a car, then fine. Taxis, related to terrible location. There are no safe bus use in this part of the island so you have to take a taxis everywhere here and they are crazy expensive (Uber should consider this a great place for business). I had to take taxis here for every and spent about £500 on them because buses (I was told repeatedly, were not safe or even walking distance away. Taxis here cost more than taxis in London. 6min trip to local supermarket cost £20 (return trip) which leads me to the restaurants review and why I had to go to the supermarket for food. The food is terrible. I brought a friend over and was embarrassed by the fact that she didn’t get what she order and what she did get was disgusting.
Recommendation. Stay in the south/ south west of the island, as most activities take place there, and everything is cheaper. Don’t believe anyone when they tell you it’s not. Also getting a day pass at a 5* hotel cost £20-£55 pound and it’s worth every penny. Food, unlimited drinks and actually amenities are available all for as low as £20. I did that a few times (taxi ride was expensive hence why stay in the south, cheaper that way) it was the best and frankly saved my holiday from being a completely let down.

The location of the hotel is really beautiful. You will feel as if you're in a little town in italy. Absolute gorgeous landscapes while walking around the hotel. The breakfast and italian dinner place were fabulous. The staff is quite friendly and helpful when needed. We were given good attention and privacy as well.
nothing really.
