at night is unbelievable loud from speakers from kaosan road… you need oropax….

The rooftop pool was amazing too cool off during the hot days in Bangkok. Also really nice view of the city both night time and daytime!

It can be a bit noisy from all the bars around but just bring your earplugs.

the music was so loud coming from the bar downstairs . it did not stop until 6am in the morning keep all the residents awake

the location, the rooms weren’t NOT clean and stinky, we moved 3 rooms for one night because of that and none of the was ok.

asked for kettle to make tea in the room multiple times, but didn’t get any.

Ideal location for nightlife, roof top pool and bar area was very nice.

Beautiful pool awesome staff. Great location, some night are load depending on where your room is but you are on Khoisan road you have to expect that. Great place would stay again.

we loved the rooftop pool! aircon was good and rooms were spacious and cleaned daily with fresh bottles of cold water and clean towels

the only bad things we could say about the property was 1. the sun loungers are incredibly uncomfortable! it’s a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous rooftop pool setting looking out over bangkok but it’s hard to enjoy sitting by the pool when the loungers aren’t at all relaxing or comfortable 2. the noise was at some points unbearable. although we understand we were staying in kaohsan road which is arguably the busiest strip in bangkok, at some points the noise and the base made it impossible to sleep. we understand some parts of the hotel have a worse location than others with regards to the noise level so it may be worth only booking out the rooms on the quieter side, particularly when they are double rooms intended for couples. on Sunday evening my partner wasn’t able to sleep until 6am because the base was so heavy & Loud it was physically shaking the bed and rattling the windows. i have stayed in D&D inn many times before and have not had such an issue with noise so I think we just got a room located right on kaohsan side. also finally a small note which was annoying, we paid for late checkout as we weren’t getting an overnight bus until 8pm and checkout was 12pm. we made it clear to the staff we did not want to be disturbed in this time as we were catching up on sleep (because of the really loud noise the night before) - we even put the do not disturb sign in the door. but staff came and knocked on the door and rang the room twice to tell us we needed to check out. a clear and disappointing lack of communication on part of the staff

Everything good

The hotel was well located for party-goers as you literally step out onto Khaosan Road and can enjoy the stalls and bars. The bed was comfy and staff were friendly upon check in and check out. They had no problem supplying extra towels and toilet paper when requested.

It was quite a distance from the roof top bars and nice restaurants. It was a 45 minute drive for us to go and get food one night. The street is very noisy from 11pm to 4am as the stalls are removed and the bars start playing music. Nothing ear-plugs didn’t sort for us. The water in the shower was cold both nights.

Everything for our preference was perfect. We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends.
